  1. This is exactly why game prices keep going up.
  2. What if the house gets sold when you're in the middle of selling the collection? That would suck.
  3. Is the video quality any different from the factory fitted A/V on the Famicom top loader?
  4. Apart from Pokemon Box I don't think these games are actually rare. Just hyped up sky high. I'm sure prices will cool down again. There are lots of copies available on eBay.
  5. Wow I had one of these as a kid! Brings back memories. It was unboxed though and I thought it was an Atari until a few years ago when I realized it wasn't haha. I remember it also had a second part to it that would plug into the cartridge slot on the side. Don't remember what that was for. Maybe for playing Atari carts?
  6. Starting to setup my game room! Just completed putting in these shelves last night: Started filling them with goodies!
  7. Yes a lot of 3DS games and consoles sold in the Middle East/Singapore/Malaysia have this icon. I recently discovered that the Hylian Shield edition 2DS XL that was supposed to be exclusive to GameStop was also sold there. (Pic from Google) The 3DS version of Ocarina of Time is really interesting though. It has the Japanese box art but rated for ESRB.
  8. They fixed some of those oversights on the Indian version of the NES:
  9. Are you considering the 3DS version of Layton's Mystery Journey as part of the set?
  10. My Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild also has this.
  11. I never thought dropping $200+ on cardboard would be considered lucky
  12. Wow looks super cool.
  13. The real value is in the outer cardboard box right? Or do the game sleeves also have variations from the regular retail releases with Not For Resale logos?
  14. If GameStop goes under this stuff will definitely be worth a little bit at least. Maybe not a whole lot but more than zero. So it's a long shot. First GameStop has to go out of business and then you need to wait a while for the nostalgia factor to kick in before this stuff has value.
  15. So with so many people finding N7 copies it can't be rare right?
  16. I use the toothpick method outlined by @RH above. For really stubborn stuff a small flat screwdriver is your friend. Just scrape extremely gently with a feather touch.
  17. Pretty sure this is just temporary hype caused by a combination of FOMO, Covid-19, and shortage of Switch units in the market. It should cool off back to around 400 levels in a few months. Seeing the number of available units on eBay tells me it's not rare nor as limited as people think.
  18. Wow that's really something. Nice write-up! A friend of mine recently found an SNES officially released in India by Media Games. My mind was blown because I thought only the NES was released by Samurai before Nintendo left that market. Must be as rare as this SAF region NES. @ThePhleo You might be interested in this information By the way, I managed to get a boxed Samurai in decent condition.
  19. This type of ad will definitely bring out the troll in me haha. Hey I know! GoCollect is behind this ad for sure. Lines up perfectly with what's going on with GVN at the moment.
  20. Isn't it suspicious how only the graded stuff still has the correct numbers? Did they get a bunch of sealed games from Dain?
  21. Amazing! Just a thought: won't light from the sign cause fading on the console boxes set immediately next to it over time?
