  1. Got this just the other day. Chewed by a dog. Now not only does this cart have character on the outside, but on the inside too: Top left corner of the board is broken and somebody made a mess replacing the save battery. The cart didn't work when I got it but I fixed it by soldering a wire over the break in the board.
  2. I guess it would have to be my GameCube kiosk.
  3. How much are these worth? I have Contra III.
  4. I posted in the error thread but it probably belongs here too Found a Turok Rage Wars for GBC with an upside down label today at a flea market:
  5. Well I never imagined I would get a chance to post in this thread! I just picked this up today at a flea market: @Hybrid You may use this image for your site if you can credit me. Also feel free to re-host the image
  6. This definitely belongs in the One of a Kind thread!
  7. I like all of them. Paper jam is probably the weakest of the lot though.
  8. I got a boxed Wii U from the local classifieds and everything looked normal except for the Wii U gamepad charging cradle. It has an embedded chip and an engraved plaque: It seems to be a commemorative piece for the Wii U graphics chip.
  9. Can you explain your definition of main series LoZ collection? I don't see Link's Awakening DX which leads me to believe you don't consider ports as part of the main series. However, you have Twilight Princess for Wii which is actually a port of the GC version and you also have BotW and Hyrule Warriors for Switch but they are technically ports of the Wii U versions. You are missing the 3DS versions of OoT and MM so I assumed you don't consider remakes but then you have Link's Awakening for Switch which is a remake. Also I personally consider titles like Hyrule Warriors and Four Swords to be spin-offs rather than a part of the main series. No doubt it's a great collection for your personal satisfaction but I just wanted to understand your point of view
  10. Video game grading is bullshit because it's not standardized. That's the main problem, not conflict of interest and stuff. God help those who think graded games are worth more money because the grades mean nothing. Grades only have meaning when coming from a universally recognised and accepted body and right now there isn't one. Also, fuck Go Collect for trying to take over the video game hobby scene. May they burn to ashes. /hate
  11. This is fantastic! You should offer a consulting service on how to setup a game room
  12. That looks fantastic! This is probably the best presentation I've seen of a complete N64 library. Two thumbs up!
  13. Wow! Since you have PAL games, do you know how much a PAL Little Samson (ESP) is worth?
  14. In the late 80s India had trade restrictions on foreign companies. So Nintendo had to partner with a local company called Samurai to release the NES. Both the console and game carts had Samurai branding on them. Nintendo exited from the Indian market after the NES failed to do well because of high retail price and proliferation of famiclones.
  15. A few of my Samurai version NES carts will be right at home here! I don't have a separate pic of the ones with the most "character".
  16. Moving my thread here from NintendoAge (RIP): Recently I was browsing the local Craigslist and came across a GameCube kiosk just 5 miles away from me. I couldn't believe my luck because these things usually seem to show up half way across the country. It seemed to be in pretty good shape and when I went to take a look at it in person it was in great shape. It looked like it had all of its original parts including the sign on the top and also the key! From what I gathered most of the time the key gets lost for the kiosk. I later realized it's missing the hexagonal plastic ring around the bubble dome which is odd since most other kiosks seem to have that. If anyone is selling a spare hit me up! I also need the demo disc containing Luigi's Mansion, Wave Race Blue Storm and Star Wars Rogue Leader II. It has the GameCube logos on the side panels and also the button cover in front of the TV. The reset button works as do all the lights. The TV also appears to be the original one since the side panels align with the shape of the TV. The colors are still great on the CRT. The joystick on one controller is missing the rubber grip. Does anyone know if that can be replaced instead of replacing the entire stick? The controllers are sealed with a rivet and I don't want to open that because it looks like the rivet will have to be destroyed. Overall I'm very happy with this since I've seen other kiosks with missing parts that are hard to replace. Here are some pics:
  17. It's me, dry_bowser from NA. I couldn't sign up as bowser on NA because it was already taken but I got a break over here!
  18. Yes it should be good. You can play both US and Jap imports on it.
