I even opened a copy for the sealed contents thread. For sure it blew up fast. Same goes for the Game Boy version. Used to be really cheap, not anymore! I have to admit the cover art + colors are really top tier, so it was bound to happen eventually.

MegaMan52 | 2,467
Found a few items at some thrift stores: Found the PC version of The Next Tetris for $3 (Canadian). Appears to be complete and in reasonably good shape. It works. I've gone back to the 90's! This Mario comic cost a $1.30. No joke. Some creasing on the cover, but all of the pages are intact and look very clean. I think I saved about $20 (or more) by not purchasing it on eBay. Already posted a picture of this in the Doritos topic, but whatever here's another. Not video game-related (except for a trailer video), but I also bought Gran Torino on DVD and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 on Blu-ray: Both movies were $4 each, even the Harry Potter movie despite being a Blu-ray copy (and also including the DVD and Special Features disc). The discs don't look like they were used very much, and the Harry Potter movie also includes the inserts. Naked Warrior | 288
Great start to the year! I have to admit I was a little surprised when the seller accepted my offer of $900 ($980 after taxes/shipping) for this sweet 50(GBC) + 1(GB) CIB lot. Pricecharting value is a little north of $2,000...There were about 35 games that I didn't have, including Spawn, Aliens: The Thanatos Encounter, the Godzilla games, and Yoda Stories - all of which I had been searching for a decent price for over a year now...And the doubles will look great in my trade thread (will be back up soon!) - Megaman Xtreme 2, Mario Golf, Pokemon, Blade, and a bunch more. Yeah, there are a few filler games in there (Looking at you All-Star Baseball 2001!), but TBH that is about as little filler as you are going to get when you're buying CIB Game Boy Color games 50 at a time! 7 7

Tanooki | 4,957
I'd expect to see more stuff offloaded with the changes this year as people catch on. They'll get out, take less, trade things, sell locally. That though with the Gameboy was just insane luck whether influenced or not by that. Curious to see what goes up. Kguillemette | 1,560
Couple little finds at an antique store that has a surprising amount of video games. They appeared to have some sealed Saturn Games(space hulk and Lost World)in their case. (I think a few members here are looking for sealed saturn games?) SCUD for $40 is a good deal assuming everything is in good shape. Is that $30 on that Brain Dead 13 up at the top? That’s a great deal if so.

Tanooki | 4,957
I think I last posted a find in here about 4-5 days ago right? And amazingly it was Gamecube which just doesn't pop up much at all around here anymore sadly. Luck would have it, different location, and find part #2 and a semi-epic one at that all things considered. One of these I can't even remember hearing of let alone seeing on a shelf before, and got curious, looked it up and was stunned how much the crazy thing goes for, but hey that's the sad sick world of gamecube now right? I paid $50 for the pair with tax, the Animaniacs one was $15 before tax! Case rear plastic has a few linear defects, but the case art stiff and spotless, manual is crisp and never been opened it's that tough, game disc has not a mark on it too. The Zelda one a few little scuffy lines on the disc, manual is in great shape as is the rest... all around super win. Was lucky, just going as I daily do to half price on the way to kid pick up time, saw nothing on shelf, saw a stack of games behind the counter with stickers to go out when I discovered the toony one, then asked if they had more, a small stack of a few came from under the counter and there's Zelda. Win, win! 10
Hammerfestus | 3,907
I just recently posted a long box plastic ridged box for Jumping Flash I picked up. Well, less than a week later I snagged a mint complete copy in the Saturn style case (the toughest to find not all smashed up) for $10. Even survived a USPS trip in a double bubble mailer unscathed. Also, picked up a copy of Dragon Quest IX for my collection. Doubt I’ll ever finish this set since V and VI are so absurdly priced. but you never know.
croagunk | 798
Hello everyone! I’m back! I had a little accident where I passed out, fell, and cut my head in the middle of the night for some unknown reason. I got staples in my head at the ER. I’m waiting on some tests at the hospital. I am struggling a bit with vertigo/dizziness still. So I haven’t been playing games much because of this. I did get a few games for Christmas. I got Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, KeyWe, Mario Golf: Super Rush, and the Splatoon 2 starter pack for the Switch. I also got some Animal Crossing Amiibo cards, an Animal Crossing Switch travel case, and an eshop card. I missed you guys. It’s great to be back. I’ve gifted most everyone with likes as I’ve been catching up on everyone’s posts. 11

In all cases Final Fantasy I was purchased at the very end of of 2021. But because Japan Post is also having issues with deliveries, it took 3 weeks to have it shipped via EMS. Which is fine because it completes my "Famicom focus" when it comes to the PS1 games I chose to get. And is in very nice, sealed condition. Between both games came some good news in regards to the Lunar demo. Skipping the stuff I said in response to what the dealer said to me, a return has been approved. So I am nearly done with that scenario. And finally Persona I was sold to me by the same seller I bought Torneko 2 from. This one I was a bit nervous about because the DHL guy left it on the porch. And there is more to that but thankfully it was packed well enough that it arrived safely. Plus I should add that it caps off both my "PS1 focus" and PS1 JRPG goals. 36 minutes ago, Brickman said: I was actually wondering where you had got to, there just hasn't been as many likes going around as normal. Tanooki | 4,957
Wow that's hardcore, went from just collecting games straight to staples and concussions. It was quiet, nice to see you're back. Once you're not seeing double, you got some good choices to start on there. When you get to the shop card, do yourself a favor, find something unique or at least that isn't on physical media. It will limit the too many choices, and help find something more suitable. Last card I got, put it towards the 20 year old re-release of Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance which is a great game if you're into Diablo like stuff.
