Code Monkey | 2,006
I found the motherload of Atari 2600 at a local game store. I didn't pick up any of the rarer games but I managed to get all of this for $530 CAD. 5

bowser | 598
Got these special edition 3DS games for only $100. Legend of Legacy is still sealed and for the other two the games were opened but the collector's content is still unused/sealed where applicable. Also had 2 cool pickups recently at a great price. First, this N64 lot. The ad was up for 5 days but nobody seemed to notice the little Nintendo Power 100 logo on the gold controller. I saw the ad myself when it was first posted but I also missed it. Asking price was $150 and I passed initially. When it popped up again in my recommendations I noticed it and offered $120 and it was accepted. This was the original pic in the ad. The rumble and controller paks were not even mentioned: Next, this awesome pickup for only $130. The Xbox actually has the Xecuter 3 mod with buttons and LCD on the front and seems to be worth at least $400 online. Initially I only wanted this lot for the expansion pak and it wasn't until after picking it up and looking up the Xbox that I figured I hit the jackpot. 6

That Smash Hit Pak is really interesting, I’ve never seen or heard of that.

A lot of Atari guys are in the phase of letting their collections go, so it makes sense to see a lot of cool stuff being put back into the market. Tanooki | 4,933
Got this hell of a deal for $60 earlier. NFS. I've got plans, long overdue plans with some parts I've held onto for over a year due to a mishap then. Maybe this will end up in that VGS restoration thread in time. I've got an HHL LED panel/wire setup still new, new glass lens, an immaculate Blue Game Gear shell, and I've got a 3d printed mount bracket for that LED and a cap kit coming hopefully in a week. Got this off the original owner who left it in a closet for 20 years, still works, just brightness is going. Inside inspection was pretty clean, nothing corroded at first glance. Amazingly that battery pack not only works but retains a solid lasting charge too. Can't wait to clean this up. Odds are 50/50 at this rate how I feel after about it, but may just keep and get an everdrive. Also picked up 3 games on the side at a friends shop for $20 who oddly was a 1/3mi away from pick up. Chicago Syndicate, Columns, and Psychic World. I already had another Sonic 2 and Pac-Attack.

The Asian versions of some games have way better artwork than the North American counterparts. For example, I have this Middle East version of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D with the Japanese artwork but it still has the ESRB rating so it's technically North American. 3
ViKiNg | 276
Finally i've got nice sealed copy of Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers: The Adventure in Nimnul's Castle game, released for the PC in 1990. Really awful game! Now i have set of all 3 Chip 'n Dale games ever released! (except Tiger Electronics device).
fcgamer | 4,723
@ViKiNg Very good stuff! You're missing a few games though Edit: Not official stuff, but if you're any fan of the original series (like my brother and I are), then I'd recommend you check out the squirrel king games. There's a unique Sega Genesis game, a SNES game, a Gamate rescue Rangers clone, an actual port of the original rescue Rangers for Sega, and a rescue Rangers 3 game for famicom , a hack of heavy barrel. So at least six more games to go in this beloved series. Edited October 4, 2020 by fcgamer

Honestly, if you're a fan or Rescue Rangers (the original series, I'm not counting that PC nimnul crap), I'd check it out. My brother is not into unlicensed or bootleg stuff, but he was very much into these titles as he is a huuge fan of the original series and gameplay, as am I. Just saying, if you actually love the gameplay and the characters, hold off any preconceptions and check it out

bowser | 598
Just found these locally on Facebook for $60! Are these Canadian exclusives? Most of the eBay listings appear to be from Canada and both box arts also have references to Canada on the back.
