  1. Yes! They advertised this as “mint” which the label is very very clean but come on
  2. I stopped by the mall today with my girlfriend so I had to check out the game store. They had several other titles I needed, Terminator, Robocop 3, Pugsleys Scavenger Hunt but I think I got the lone good deal. Picked Cliffhanger with manual for $79.99.
  3. I do have a list! I think it’s accurate right now, I know I have a few more to tick off of it. I’ve got all but 3 of the obtainable 5 screws and then I’ve been working on some of the oddball 3 screw stuff too. There’s a handful of sub $20 games I need and a lot of popular stuff too.. my list is actually kind of funny
  4. That’s not a horrible list to need. Definitely some tough ones but shoot, it could be much worse!
  5. Donkey Kong 64 is actually the game I attribute to getting me into gaming as a whole. I’d definitely played consoles before but this one was the game that really kick started my love for video games. It’s easily one of my top 3 games of all time
  6. Ticked a good one off the list, my current (loose) goal is to finish off the Nintendo published games I need. I think I only need 6-7 more! Excluding variants
  7. Those prototypes are sick. I just passed 400 carts myself.. it’s getting tough
  8. Yessir, over half way! I still need a couple more common ones but it’s definitely getting hard
  9. I figured since I finally surpassed the 400 mark, it would be fun to track the back half of the library. I am working on completing a loose licensed set (minus stadium events) for now. After I finish that I’ll be doing unlicensed and other random games I find of interest. I am working on variants as well, 3 & 5 screws as well as major label variants. here we are at 405 unique titles strong
  10. Great information! Thanks for sharing. Always good to see an old timer around
  11. Yes sir! Only three more five screws now!
  12. It’s changed pretty considerably that’s for sure, some for the better some for the not so better
  13. A new label would likely cost the same as a new cart..
  14. Looking good brother. You have a full licensed set right?
  15. 8/10. Great challenge throughout. Navigating the overworld was kind of a chore and that final boss was dang hard. Great game though!
  16. I’m very happy old friends keep my phone number
  17. Nes - N64 - GameCube - PS2 - Wii - Wii U - Switch I had to own a PlayStation 2 to play San Andreas and that was about it. I got a Genesis second hand as a kid and it was okay but I didn’t grow to like it until I was an adult.
  18. If you’re in Omaha those shops were pretty good to me. I have two local sources for retro games. One is a friend of mine who runs a business of sorts, he doesn’t have a physical store front but doesn’t conventions and the likes and he is an absolute peach. He had great trade in value and he sells for under VGPC (with the exception of the easy seller stuff). Then there is the other shop, it’s been around forever and as the years have gone on it’s become much more card based game oriented. Their inventory doesn’t change often but I once in a while am able to grab a deal. Having a local store is nice but I also have to take it for what it is. Some stuff is outrageous but considering the majority of their profits aren’t coming from game sales, I suppose they can sit on the inventory.
