  1. Sold off (almost) my entire N64 collection. I'm only holding onto two games to complete a set... then I will sell those too. Lots of sentimental value here as most of these were my original games I had from my teenage years, but I hit a point where collecting for N64 was too difficult, and I was too disappointed looking at all these boxes that got trashed in the years they were being shuffled around by my family (the only ones in great shape were the recent acquisitions, Mario Tennis and Wipeout 64)... but I don't want to get into all that. Oh well, these are being enjoyed by others now! Anyway, I have an Everdrive 64 X7 now so I will be able to play all these games and more
  2. Very nice. My YKW2: Bony Spirits has the medal too.
  3. That’s funny, I’m also on a mission to get all the Mama and Mario Party games.
  4. Apparently they have this thing where certain products will change to another game (Lawbreakers) when they sell out quick. Apparently this is to screw with the people using bots to snap up the games. Apparently the Jak CE is heavily targeted by resellers using bots.
  5. Oh and by the way, it’s not buggy. They use Shopify. There’s no option AFAIK to schedule items to go live at a certain time. Someone on their team manually goes through and switches each item live. I’m 99% sure of this. It works as intended.
  6. Guilty. I was sitting at my computer with multiple tabs open refreshing the pages 10 minutes early to see which items would go live first. Eh, this is like saying Nintendo shouldn’t put 3 ROMs on a cart and charge $59.99 for it. If people are paying for it then it’s working for them. Plus, it worked to my advantage that they didn’t make everyone aware of this. Less competition for me this way. I know I sound like a jerk saying this but we are all adults here, we should all know this is a competitive collecting market like sneakers or whatever. There are winners and losers. I’ve been hanging in these limited print groups for almost two years now. I’ve seen plenty of people saying they are done with LRG and so on. By all means, get off the ride when you want. This gacha stuff is inherently scummy. Maybe someday they’ll be out of business but not yet.
  7. You won’t have to sell many at a loss. I did 10 blind boxes last year and made a good portion back on the ones I didn’t want. If anything I could have made more $ by just holding onto them longer.
  8. ^ to add to this, in 2019 they sold some of those extra copies at pop up shops and conventions, but since they weren’t able to do that in COVID-times, they ended up with more stock for the blowout sale than usual. Although I’m honestly shocked that Pirate’s Curse was in these blind boxes... it was in the 2020 blind boxes a year ago too. Maybe they held back some specifically to sell at conventions in 2020 and that was why they still had them.
  9. They don’t have recent Switch offerings because they still haven’t shipped out the orders for those. Blowout sales are made up of the leftovers from those prints after the claimed orders have shipped and they have handled any replacements due to shipping damage etc.
  10. Another blowout sale in the books! The Switch blind CE's went live before 10am, then the standard blind boxes, then various games one by one. I did my strategy which was to snag each item I wanted in separate orders. Ended up making 7 orders. The only items I missed out on were Celeste CE, Vall-hall-a and Battle Princess Madelyn. The latter two I could have probably snagged if I had been quicker. Oh well! I'm actually looking forward to Duck Game CE and Axiom Verge for Wii U the most, those were a couple that I actually wanted to have and somehow skipped before.
  11. Got the latest rewards in today! My ornament is facing out the side of the box instead of out the front... are others like this? Looks funny
  12. A few hauls to close out the year! Another sealed Pac-Man Pinball bonus bag bundle for $20, Pokemon Black V2 for $67 and Go Vacation for $15!
  13. For some reason I can't upload photos? Why? Anyway, posting before more stuff comes in. Have to link from Imgur for these. Thanks to @Laseki I was able to add these beauties to the Wii U collection: And here's a bunch of other stuff I managed to bring in... pretty sure I'm missing a couple things... it's getting hard to keep track... also I'm pretty sure I forgot to snap a couple items but whatever... Kirby Tilt n Tumble I was hunting for a long time... finally managed to win an auction a little under the average going price on a less than perfect copy with stickers... just had to clean those. Wario Land 2 was also a long time hunting, ended up frankensteining the packaging with a loose cart. Microsoft Puzzle Collection was on my list for a long time and I finally told my wife to get it for me for Hannukah... then it took over 3 weeks to actually arrive. Hardcore Pinball was a single-bid win on eBay from a seller that had a lot of cool stuff up for auction... but I didn't win any of the other auctions. Moto GP ended up being free after the seller mailed it in a bubble envelope T_T and the Sonic Combo Pack is in rough shape and was missing the tray but I decided to grab it since I rarely see it come up. Was not expecting to add so many GameCube games, I rarely find deals on these anymore, but I got most from a lot buy and the rest were just good deals. Best of Playstation Network was another one that used to be cheap and then it kinda disappeared off eBay, but I managed to find someone on OfferUp selling it for a good price. The DS games were from a cheap Facebook Marketplace bundle, Smart Girl's Playhouse was on my wishlist for quite a while. Yo-Kai Watch 2 I had the packaging from a lot I bought months ago, finally got the cart in a trade, apparently it's getting pricy now? Crazy. Waited a long long time for these to arrive from Japan. Most of these were bought on sale, also I'm missing the free Zelda T-shirt I got with the bottom 2 games, also if you look closely you can see my first code-in-a-box game. Lastly the plush set was on sale and the Super Power guide was given to me basically for free with an NES Classic Mini I bought on Mercari. Also I might have double posted a few games here, sorry if so!
  14. No, not the same way as during this year. Nintendo doesn’t have their supply chain problems anymore. They are done moving factories and adjusting to COVID. They can keep reprinting Ring Fit if they want to.
  15. It *was* scarce. For months it was sold out everywhere due to Nintendo not being able to restock it with their supply chain problems. I wonder if scalpers selling it over MSRP factors into the rankings. I bet it does.
  16. Bump! Added a bunch of stuff including N64 games, a PS2 bundle and a bunch of Nintendo Power magazines.
  17. At least that game is strictly limited. Fairy Tail is standard retail from a pretty major publisher that has done reprints in the past. There’s no good reason to FOMO into this now!
