  1. Got these in a bundle on eBay for $21 with free shipping, nothing crazy but I was looking for half these games and for a bundle price it was a good deal
  2. I feel bad because I haven't posted in a while and I haven't done a very good job of keeping up with my pickups so I might be missing a few items on this list. Black Friday deals were in full swing since the last time I posted and there were a lot of games on my wantlist, some that I had been waiting months to pick up, that finally went on sale at prices I really liked. Catherine was $20 and the rest were $5 finds at Five Below: Wandersong was from a trade, Etrian Odyssey IV from eBay, Slaps and Beans was fairly priced in a Facebook group and Toy Story Mania was one I was hunting for a long time (trying to find a truly complete copy with the lenticular slipcover and both 3D glasses included) and finally showed up on eBay at a decent price: Did something I don't usually do, was tempted to pick this up after another collector mentioned it in a Facebook group, this is a less common variant published by THQ right before they closed down, subsequent copies are published by Disney instead: Two artbooks that were in my Amazon wishlist and they actually went on sale: Limited print pre-orders that I waited a looooong time for: One of you on here tipped me off to this bundle and I couldn't live without it forever so I snapped it off eBay when I saw it pop up at a decent price: Got these from a seller on Reddit, already had the NES Classic but not the other items in the picture: Some more finds, got Void Terrarium in a trade, Gem Smashers and Go Vacation were hunts from Mercari and FB Marketplace respectively, about $20 each, Mario Hoops I bought off... someone... don't really remember, Human Fall Flat was on sale for $19.99, and Cadence of Hyrule I picked up at Walmart on a whim, alongside Bakugan Champions of Vestroia launch edition (the one with the toy inside), both with that Walmart in-store discount. Another book on sale, you know I need my RPG strategy guides: Literally a free local pickup: Did I need the GameCube variant of this, if I already had the Wii and Wii U variants? No. But it was $40: 3 more limited print games I waited a very long time for, and then Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and SMBUD were from GameStop Black Friday deals: Recently started being active on game-collecting-Instagram as if I need more distractions and discovered Hand Drawn Game Guides so picked up this boutique published guide for the first Zelda. & the games were another Black Friday deal: Was hunting this double pack for a while, slept on it before COVID-mania hit, had kinda given up and then I see someone selling it for $25 on Facebook. Condition of the slipcover is atrocious but at least I finally have it: Iridion 3D was one of the GBA games I had growing up but the box got lost or something so I was planning to replace it, realized there wasn't much difference between CIB and New pricing so I just got it brand new. The DS games were from a lot that was pretty cheap: I also filled a bunch of gaps in my Nintendo Power collection with a lot I picked up, didn't bother taking pictures of everything but here's one item that came with the lot, Tips & Tactics for The Legend of Zelda which was one of the items you had to mail away for from the catalogue inside Nintendo Power: And 2 more purchases which were high priority for me: Again, sorry for the long post!
  3. I seriously never knew about this. https://youtu.be/nIUEAslkI6E
  4. Ok so these Dragon Warrior inserts came with the Nintendo Power promotional release of the game?
  5. Can someone tell me where these inserts came from? I’m guessing the Dragon Warrior ones are all from the NES USA release and the Zelda book is from The Legend of Zelda NES USA?
  6. It was released for Switch by Super Rare Games (PAL code). I have one for sale.

Ok but my box will have sealed and graded stuff right?
  9. Just struck gold my dudes. Found hand-written lyrics to “Informer” by Snow tucked into Issue 46!
  10. Thanks man. I stayed up late last night going through some of them and writing down what might be a fair value. Some are missing posters, have writing on the reg cards or some kind of wear on the cover / spine but then there are others that are like new. Most of the early issues that I have from previous lots have yellow spines and/or tears on the covers so I will definitely be upgrading anything I already have!
  11. Pretty good price for a near-complete in box Game Boy console: https://offerup.co/DLDg6XM34bb
  12. Mail call! Paid $366 altogether for this 36 pound box shipped to me via UPS (shipping alone was $55 ). Nintendo Power 1-51, the related bonus books from that era, and even 4 Fun Club books. Quality is mixed, issue 1 for example has the posters separated, some of the mags have writing on the reg cards and so on... I still haven’t figured out if the price I paid was good or not... this was posted “for offer” in an FB group and there were a lot of hungry collectors messaging the seller already so I felt I needed to make a move and here we are. Will part out the duplicates when I actually get some free time (not soon ) and eventually might make some of this money back.
  13. FE Heroes has new content with points to earn!
  14. Quick midday local pickup. PS2 with wires and 4 controllers (two authentic), a bunch of memory cards, and 19 games, for $65. Altogether the lot is worth $200 but shipping and fees would probably eat up half of that. Still a nice lot and I’ll be keeping a few items from it.
  15. Was going to say this. There are games that came out 2 years ago that are already hard to find. Will they be easier to find when normies start dumping their Switch libraries on Facebook Marketplace in a couple years? Yes. But not easy in the way Wii games are.
  16. $45 via Reddit. Not much of a discount but enough that I had to finally add it to my collection.
  17. Got this for free from a local listing! The kind of thing I wouldn’t pay for, but I can’t pass up for free. I think my kids will enjoy if even if they just play with the figures and never touch the game.

  19. Oh boy... Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town premium edition coming next year
  20. I take back what I said here. Right after trashing this game I found a copy on FB Marketplace for $15 (+ shipping and tax) and I decided to give it an honest go. I have it on Wii and thought it was a really nice game but I played it with my kids and I guess because they got really frustrated with some of the controls it kind of ruined it for me. Playing it solo I was able to really enjoy it and it's great. Also the graphics are improved on Switch and I think some of the minigames are too.
  21. Got these 3 for $110 on Mercari: Not a crazy steal but a I decent bit below eBay prices
