  1. This looks good! Clearly a Sonic the Hedgehog kind of game.
  2. Finally played Human Fall Flat. Impressive. It’s tough but so satisfying when you complete a level.
  3. Trying to play more of my collection. Finally tried Supermarket Shriek. Wow. This game is hilarious. Really tough too. I’m going to want to keep playing through unless it gets too hard in the later levels.
  4. Beat Go Vacation. You get the credits roll when you complete all the activity stamps. There’s another challenge where you 100% all the hidden stuff on the map but I probably won’t do that.
  5. $60 Mercari find. Both are brand new. I will buy any NES Classic Mini at this price point. It’s a steal to find them like this! And the guide is amazing, I didn’t have the money for it when it was in stock years ago at GameStop. Very happy to have it now.
  6. No I claimed the ornament two weeks ago and was just holding onto the code waiting to batch it with more stuff. Gotta stretch that $5 shipping!
  7. Thanks for this. Usually I hear about new listings from Reddit but I wasn't very active there today. Managed to cop the two new items and finally put in my order for the ornament and holiday cards. Also saw the Zelda Champion amiibo were all in stock so I ordered one of each. Not that I need any more amiibo! But they will likely be more expensive whenever they get around to selling out.
  8. Two hauls that took a while to land both finally arrived today! First up is this GameCube haul I got via Reddit for $260: This was shipped Priority Mail but took much longer than it should have to get to me. Surprisingly there's a bunch of games here that I didn't already have... Pokemon Colosseum, Tube Slider, Incredible Hulk, Ultimate Spider-Man, X-Men legends and a couple of the Tony Hawk Games. I will be selling the rest and will make back a decent portion of the total cost. Update: most of the dupes were in better condition than what I already have, so I also got the added bonus of upgrading! Second is a bit of a story: I saw some Wii games listed on FB Marketplace for $4 each from a Pawn Shop the next state over. I messaged them and asked if they are willing to ship and they said yes, as long as I'm ok paying the shipping cost. Then I didn't hear back from them for a week! Was kind of thinking they must have sold to someone else when I happen to see the listing on Facebook Marketplace again. So I messaged them *again* and this time they responded to finally collect payment. Took a week to finally close the deal and then a few days to ship to me! So I got these two games for about $12 and change. Cooking Mama I already had via a lot I had acquired but it was missing the manual while this one is complete. Abba You Can Dance is a game I've been hunting for a year! Usually it goes for at least $20 or maybe $25 online and I never see it in any local deals. I think this was the last of the Just Dance spinoff games by Ubisoft I needed to complete the set! But more importantly I will actually be playing this one soon
  9. Good news everyone, if you download the Bravely Default II demo from the eShop you'll get 100 platinum points free.
  10. Found this on FB Marketplace for $15: Which doesn't really sound like a deal... $15 is what this usually goes for. But usually when you see a used copy of this, the Amiibo card is not included. This card goes for $10 or $11 on its own. So that's cool! Also I'm not usually one to willingly buy a Nintendo Selects title... all my 3DS games are first-prints. But I have a complete Animal Crossing set and I was tempted to pick this up as it's technically a separate release from Animal Crossing New Leaf. This is the Welcome Amiibo update version and the cart itself is actually different from both the first print and the first Nintendo Selects print as well. This is ACNL Nintendo Selects: The cart code ends in EGDE-USA. The Welcome Amiibo update, which came along later, was only released as a Nintendo Selects version and the code for that ends in EAAE-USA. I don't know if any fullset collectors treat these carts as separate releases but I do! And I'm not a fullset collector but the idea of having this in my Animal Crossing set was intriguing enough for me to get it p.s. and if you look at the cover art, the Welcome Amiibo update has a few key changes... not just that they added the AMIIBO COMPATIBLE banner on the top right, but they actually changed up the artwork too!
  11. Really though, I will buy Immortals when it’s $20, same price I paid for Switch Shovelware Sixpack
  12. Best Buy has a bunch of stuff on sale now including Immortals Fenyx Rising already being $20 off (the Ubisoft meme continues). I'm not buying that though, I can wait another year to pick up a game like this if at all. I ordered Hidden Objects Collection ($19.99) and the Katamari Damacy Reroll New Game Plush bundle ($29.99). Am planning to sell the code for Katamari Damacy Reroll since I already have the physical, I just really want the plush.
  13. I want to enter this but I don't have any video game related Christmas memories from before I stopped celebrating it... tbh I don't have many Christmas memories at all =/
  14. Got these in a bundle on eBay for $21 with free shipping, nothing crazy but I was looking for half these games and for a bundle price it was a good deal
  15. I feel bad because I haven't posted in a while and I haven't done a very good job of keeping up with my pickups so I might be missing a few items on this list. Black Friday deals were in full swing since the last time I posted and there were a lot of games on my wantlist, some that I had been waiting months to pick up, that finally went on sale at prices I really liked. Catherine was $20 and the rest were $5 finds at Five Below: Wandersong was from a trade, Etrian Odyssey IV from eBay, Slaps and Beans was fairly priced in a Facebook group and Toy Story Mania was one I was hunting for a long time (trying to find a truly complete copy with the lenticular slipcover and both 3D glasses included) and finally showed up on eBay at a decent price: Did something I don't usually do, was tempted to pick this up after another collector mentioned it in a Facebook group, this is a less common variant published by THQ right before they closed down, subsequent copies are published by Disney instead: Two artbooks that were in my Amazon wishlist and they actually went on sale: Limited print pre-orders that I waited a looooong time for: One of you on here tipped me off to this bundle and I couldn't live without it forever so I snapped it off eBay when I saw it pop up at a decent price: Got these from a seller on Reddit, already had the NES Classic but not the other items in the picture: Some more finds, got Void Terrarium in a trade, Gem Smashers and Go Vacation were hunts from Mercari and FB Marketplace respectively, about $20 each, Mario Hoops I bought off... someone... don't really remember, Human Fall Flat was on sale for $19.99, and Cadence of Hyrule I picked up at Walmart on a whim, alongside Bakugan Champions of Vestroia launch edition (the one with the toy inside), both with that Walmart in-store discount. Another book on sale, you know I need my RPG strategy guides: Literally a free local pickup: Did I need the GameCube variant of this, if I already had the Wii and Wii U variants? No. But it was $40: 3 more limited print games I waited a very long time for, and then Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and SMBUD were from GameStop Black Friday deals: Recently started being active on game-collecting-Instagram as if I need more distractions and discovered Hand Drawn Game Guides so picked up this boutique published guide for the first Zelda. & the games were another Black Friday deal: Was hunting this double pack for a while, slept on it before COVID-mania hit, had kinda given up and then I see someone selling it for $25 on Facebook. Condition of the slipcover is atrocious but at least I finally have it: Iridion 3D was one of the GBA games I had growing up but the box got lost or something so I was planning to replace it, realized there wasn't much difference between CIB and New pricing so I just got it brand new. The DS games were from a lot that was pretty cheap: I also filled a bunch of gaps in my Nintendo Power collection with a lot I picked up, didn't bother taking pictures of everything but here's one item that came with the lot, Tips & Tactics for The Legend of Zelda which was one of the items you had to mail away for from the catalogue inside Nintendo Power: And 2 more purchases which were high priority for me: Again, sorry for the long post!
  16. I seriously never knew about this. https://youtu.be/nIUEAslkI6E
  17. Ok so these Dragon Warrior inserts came with the Nintendo Power promotional release of the game?
  18. Can someone tell me where these inserts came from? I’m guessing the Dragon Warrior ones are all from the NES USA release and the Zelda book is from The Legend of Zelda NES USA?
