  1. If I wasn't clear. I mean that you would write tiles to the PPU every frame, just a column at a time, just off screen to the right. Write during v-blank time (use an NMI to time it).
  2. I wouldn't want to program an uncompressed level. But, if I did, I would have a pointer to each data set. Let's say X scrolling multiple rooms. Keep track of X as a 16 bit variable. Draw the right side as you scroll by adding 0x100 to the scroll, use the upper byte as the room #, which directs us to the correct data set. Use the lower byte >> 3 as the index to the data set. (32 tiles wide rooms)... and attributes, 8 attribute blocks wide, would be lower byte >> 5 as the index to the attribute table for that room. But I would prefer metatiles of 16x16, so the data for each room could fit in 240 bytes, which simplifies the math also, but allows for significantly more levels to be stored in ROM.
  3. Have you tried the NES screen tool? You can download it from Shiru's website.
  4. I lost 10 pounds intermittent fasting. Basically I skip breakfast, drink coffee at 10 am, eat lunch around noon. Do a light exercise every day (30 min) and try not to overdo it on junk food... though I do eat ice cream some times. I try to eat fruit and vegetables with lunch and dinner. It's low calorie filler. Makes you feel full. After 8pm no more food.
  5. I have both of them. Good shape. Slight discoloration on CV1. $45 shipped for both.
  6. I once sold an original Playstation for $20, but that was without the box or booklets.
  7. Watched a woman selling some games and a console at a used book / games store...$12 she got. It was a complete CIB SNES with all the cords, 2 controllers, all the foam and booklets. Good shape. And 2 N64 games. $12. That was hard to watch.
  8. Thanks for making videos. Lots of people like to learn by watching videos.
  9. I've been playing the Just Dance games for the Wii. And I lift hand weights and do push ups and walk. And I only have coffee for breakfast, usually.
  10. I'm going to say Minecraft. Endless fun, or serious story mode. People are modding the hell out of it. Awesome texture packs. Timeless.
  11. 6 in 1 - Caltron and 6 in 1 - Myriad are the same game. They are the same game. They are the same. No one will convince me otherwise.
  12. Roland RS-50. Yamaha Piaggero. Epiphone Les Paul with custom fish bone paint. I bought it on clearance for $200, and painted it myself. Digitech RP500. Hidden is a Fender 65 watt Princeton Amp. I also own a Strat (black with a mirror pick guard and chrome metal knobs) and an Ibanez Bass (red, 4 string).
  13. I'm reading "Assembly Language Programming for the 68000 family" by Thomas Skinner. The only free online book I could find on the subject.
  14. Actually, I think the regular Famicom version does expansion audio, and FDS game support.
  15. Are you talking about the new N8 Pro Famicom Everdrive, because THAT is different. It simulates the expansion audio of several Japanese only games. It wouldn't work on a US NES, so there is no US equivalent.

    WTB: Homebrews

Other SNES homebrews...Sydney Hunter & the Caverns of Death, Fort Parker's Crunch Out, Little Medusa. There is a team in Japan making a SNES game called Taco, should be done soon. Super Famicom games should play on SNES without modification.
  17. I agree with SMW. When I was a kid I used to play that and Zelda Link to the Past over and over.
  18. Don Flamenco, the second one in MTPO. "Hit me". He blocks. "Hit me". He blocks.
  19. I would buy it. This is my kind of game. (thumbs up)

NES.EMU does work. The one on the Google Play store. Thanks again. I didn't try retroarch.

    KUBO

According to you, on the nesdev forum... "The recent release of it on google play doesn't have support for these mappers". and the source code doesn't seem to have support.
