  1. So did you measure and know they would fit on the table perfectly like that, or did you just get lucky? Nice GB set by the way.
  2. I don't own any, but I've always been fascinated by laser discs. I would definitely snatch some up if I ever found a player and discs for cheap, but it's not something I'm willing to invest much money into.
  3. To be fair, when most of those NES and SNES games were thrown out, they didn't have any value either.
  4. I would check out https://www.customgamecases.com/
  5. Are you referring to the Universal Game Cases that held SNES, Genesis, N64 among others?
  6. Also, to the point about rear-projection TVs, obviously you don't want to pause a game and leave it that way for an extended period of time. However, it's also worth noting that the main reason why they don't recommend video games on those types of TVS is that even if you are constantly moving around, there is usually graphics on the screen that remain static for an extended period of time, such as your score in a Mario game, or the instrument cluster for most racing games. Those images can be burned into your TV, even while playing the game.
  7. Welcome. I'm from the St. Louis East Metro area as well. Are you a member of the St. Louis Retro Gamers group on Facebook? If not, it's a good group to join and the exception to the rule that most Facebook gamer groups are garbage.
  8. I like the idea of awards for game series, but I was never a fan of awards for single games. But that's just me.
  9. Any plans to add an award for "days won?"
  10. You could do it by request. Odds are only the active members would even ask for it.
  11. That is what I was hoping. Super NT and Mega SG are within my price points (as is the AVS). The aluminum is cool and all, but not something I'm willing to put my money into.
  12. In MK8 Deluxe while racing on 150cc, I typically only see the blue shell about twice per 4 round GP assuming I'm leading about 95% of the time. More often than not, I will have the red horn for at one of those two events. From my experience, the blue shell is way less common in Deluxe compared to the original MK8.
  13. I didn't remember the Mini's costing that much. I thought the original was that much, but I also thought the Mini's were much cheaper. That sort of reminds me why I didn't get one. At that price range, I'm more likely to look at the AVS.
  14. How much were the NT Mini's in the previous runs? I do sort of regret not getting one of those.
  15. That happened to me once too. Of course it was about 7/8 of the way into an attempt to play through the game 100%, including skip-able levels.
  16. The PS VR version of that game has been my favorite VR game so far. However, I'm not sure what the non-VR version of that game is like.
  17. I said this in the 32x thread as well, but I will say it here. Gamesack has two videos that cover a lot of Sega CD games. One video focuses on FMV games (includes other systems as well), and another focuses on non-FMV Sega CD games. I usually find their video helpful in determining what games might for fun for my on a given system.
  18. Purchased PS1 games. Everything was packed well and shipped quickly. Great communication. Thanks again. (Edit for spelling)
  19. I would prefer gluing it back down carefully as opposed to leaving it lifted and running the risk of it catching on something and ripping it off. If you are so picky as to not buy a game due to the label being glued back down, you probably aren't buying lifted labels either. So as a seller, I would just glue them back down. With that said, if you aren't careful, you could always make it worse trying to glue it.
  20. That's exactly how I played it the first time through. I remember thinking that I was equipped enough to storm the castle, but I was afraid that if I beat the game, I wouldn't want to keep playing, so I continued to quest and explore until I had done nearly everything and then I finally went to the castle. Hyrule Castle alone is an amazing experience.
  21. The Sega CD version of Earthworm Jim is pretty good.
  22. It's obviously going to be different for every situation, and I'm not saying this about any specific game, let along Stadium Events, but I believe that in the event that something is pulled from the shelf and shipped back to the vendor, it's more likely to be sitting on a pallet somewhere than actually destroyed.
