  1. God damn Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for NES. I hate that water level. I'll probably get crap for this but I enjoyed Mystic Quest for SNES, never beat it fully though.
  2. Same here GVN and PC and take the average. Pretty much all the titles I look for on eBay are above this and allow Make Offer - I've scored some pretty good deals using this. Also what @Gloves said, use the eBay completed/sold filter to get a better idea of the historical sales.
  3. I'm with you, value or no value I don't want to own 49 copies of X title no matter who is speculating that they may be worth X dollars in a few years. I want to grow my collection to new titles that I will hopefully get around to playing sometime. Mario 3 as in SMB 3 for NES? I mean if you can by them in bulk and sell them for like $5 or so profit each I guess that is good? Seems like not really worth it though like you'd need to use an online platform to sell them so fee's there and shipping and what not. PriceCharting doesn't really agree with them right now at a loose value of ~$9, shit I think I paid ~$20 for mine at the height of NES craziness. They must be in it for the very long speculative game of in a few years they are worth more? Do they also think that the valuable games now won't be in the future, that commons will somehow become the uncommon?
  4. SHAME ON YOU FOR BUYING PRE-FAB SHELVES!!
  5. I thought he was holding a pitchfork until I read this lol edit: I was sad that the Sage and the site title were one image, I wanted to use him for an avatar
  6. If you've got the tools around, you should try building one. I built that one that the N64 games is on, its pretty shitty but it was cool I could customize it exactly how I needed it height and length wise. Home Depot/Lowes will usually cut wood for you as well so you can just screw it all together. I wouldn't use 2x4 again, something thinner would have been better. edit: plus building something made me feel extra manly!
  7. I made it to that first boss in Dark Souls III and was like noooppppeeee
  8. Interesting insight from someone who actually creates games, thank you for sharing! I can see where you come from , making an NES game is basically working in Assembly and newer games have engines they are running on and really just swapping characters and world textures and maybe some custom animation.
  9. Normally I would say Welcome here, but instead a thank you and others for bringing this to life. I'm ecstatic that you kept your avatar lol
  10. Yeah I'd only be going for the marketplace, sucks that it stinks....its only about 45 minutes from me!
  11. Me, wife, and the best little dude
  12. Ikea! https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/fabrikoer-glass-door-cabinet-dark-gray-00242278/ I bought one of their LEDs to run through it, doesn't come with that. It is very nice but I am running out of room in it, hence the stuff at the top.
  13. I watch TronicsFix a lot on YouTube and I have bought some of the tools he uses. I think his soldering stuff is expensive though. His Amazon storefront is here: https://www.amazon.com/shop/tronicsfix YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfOrKQtC1tDfGf_fFVb8pYw
  14. I had to move some stuff around and demote my Xbox and Xbox 360 games to somewhere else. My shitty homemade shelf is still standing! Not to shabby for a little over 3 years in the collecting game.
  15. Is HH86 going to have updated graphics or something for the Switch or just a port over? It takes a ton of time and people to create modern day games, I thought people usually did the retro homebrew thing because it was one to maybe a few people working on a title?
  16. I need to give this game a go, I have heard many people say it is a great game. Maybe today since I am working from home!
  17. FTP them to Gloves and have him host them on VGS S3, I think he will be getting it soon for image hosting.
  18. Argh, Stack Up. I bit the bullet and paid around $90 for a mint loose DK Jr Math because I saw it in a local game store and I like to support them. I refuse to pay over $100 for stack up! I can't really complain though, with the emergence of the sealed and graded market, the loose market is trending down again.
  19. Yay I can buy some more of your games!!! welcome!
