you are not wrong and i have made both of those points repeatedly. nothing we can do about it though. they're trying to hustle outside money and most of us have no leverage against that.

you should make an effort to be aware of things your wife likes, her gift preferences, etc. that's part of being an invested partner. you and your wife also need to sit down and talk about how each of you communicates and particularly how each of you is going to interpret things the other says. men and women communicate differently. what she thinks is obvious is not registering with you. it's not anyone's fault, you just have different expectations for communication. that is a problem for you to work out together. you're a team and the goal is for you to be the best team you can be.

If that's true it's right up there with that guy on eBay who was pushing his self graded "collector quality games". Alcohol is first and last pass for cleaning surfaces, not carbon deposits. It's for getting all the gunk hiding the carbon and residue of actual cleaning materials. Ceramic stovetop cleaner is my goto for being effective and safe. It's designed specifically for carbon (burrnt food) without doing damage. I used an off brand I really liked (stovetop magic I think?) but I can't find it anymore. Be aware the last bottle of weiman's I bought had some kid of solid pieces in it. I still use it because I don't have an alternative but I am very careful about pressure applied. One I haven't seen suggested is electronic contact cleaner. It's generally used on car electronics. It's a spray liquid that evaporates very fast so you have to be quick with the qtip. It's good for a first pass before weiman's and maintenance cleaning.

ps4's draw was being free of microsoft's bullshit. kinects nobody wanted, threats of blocking used game sales, etc. personally i hate xbox controllers for layout and the fact they don't have rechargeable batteries by default.

You could make a case for dain doing things better but most of us haven't been in the position of unloading a hobby turned boat anchor for a pile of cash. Given we only had na in the first place because of him I'm not gonna sweat that too much. Gocollect deserves all the shit they get and more. Whatever their business plans, they inherited an active community and stonewalled it. It would have been super easy to be minimally involved, keep the guys running the site up to date and empowered to continue doing so, and take community help to address the problems. It all could have gone so much smoother with a better outcome. But they went silent and shits failing and they're in "we've tried nothing and we're out of ideas" mode.

Gvn does not take shipping into account, which skews things a bit. Vgpc doesn't either though afaik. Are they still pulling best offer sold prices correctly? Really that's the biggest hurdle to manually checking ebay

i'd like to have at least text sigs so i can link to fs threads or whatever. most of the image sigs from the old site were in violation of guidelines there but nobody enforced them. so i'd be down for images too but the rules need to be enforced.

I'm trying the site on my phone. Standatd Android chrome. Scrolling up or down results in the page jumping the opposite way half the time. Anyone else seeing that?
