  1. You Scratch My Back: Bought a Super Game Boy guide from @MiamiSlice. I needed it for my NP guide collection and he had a good deal in it.

  3. Got this from Amazon yesterday. It looks like a whole new movie compared to that washed out version I watched on youtube.
  4. Your's is nice too. I'd looked at them before when you mentioned you used to hunt trophies, and had the MGS4 platinum. You knocked out some big ones for sure. What OMG'd me about @Adorabear's list is that they are all S or A ranks. Mine is fat with a ton of zero percenters.

    Mine Shaft

Enjoy endlessly falling down the mine shaft! The music will get stuck in your head! The controls are simple and tight, press left or right to go in that direction. You don't even need buttons. Try not to land on the red ledges, as they will remove one heart. Always try to have some hearts in reserve in case you must land on a red ledge. Losing one heart is better than falling into the bottomless pit of game over. Don't take too long to decide where to jump, because if you touch the top of the screen you will lose a heart. Other ledges are conveyor belts, those'll keep you on your toes. Just keep tapping in the opposite direction the arrows indicate if you need to stay on one for a bit. Then there are trampolines that give you extra bounce. Just don't bounce for too long or you will hit the top and lose a heart. Blue ledges are the best. They don't convey you, they don't bounce you, and they don't hurt you. In fact, if you're missing hearts and you land on the blue ledge it'll restore one heart. Aim for these! The deeper you can go the higher the score counts up. Keep falling, safely, for as long as possible to get the highest score. Thanks NIOREH for the fun game and catchy earworm.
  6. I finished TellTale's The Wolf Among Us on PS4 yesterday. It was pretty good. Someone had hyped it up to me as the being the best TT game, but I don't agree. It's the exact same formula as their other post Walking Dead games, so you should know what to expect. The story is based one the DC Vertigo comic series Fables. I played this to get the Platinum trophy for Gloves' bingo. If anyone else wants to play this for the platinum, do note that it's not a one and done play through like some TT games. You must 'rewind' and replay some chapters (not whole episodes) to make different choices. That gives you opportunities you couldn't get the first time around to fill in the "Book of Fables", of which there is a trophy for completing the book in each of the five episodes. I think I only had to redo four chapters in all.
  7. If I encounter a bag of these, I'm going to try it. There was some soda company one year that had Thanksgiving themed drinks, I tried one and .
  8. Added another square for, The Future is Now, Old Man. This one took a while, but it was easy. The game was alright too, it was worth a play through. I was kinda excited because loads of people tell me it's the best best Tell Tale game, but it isn't. https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/3087-the-wolf-among-us/jicsan
  9. Got you a plastic prison right here: I know the quote is from Last Crusade, but it's so appropriate. Besides, I like this game better and I have the box. @Gloves you may remember this guy from the days before his entombment.
  10. Just finished this. Honestly I would probably have never watched it with out the bingo motivating me, so thanks for that Gloves. It was a wild ride, and totally insane. I like how it just continuously escalated to more and more absolute ridiculousness. My favorite bit was was when I don't know if I will watch this again anytime soon, but this is definitely one of those movies that will reward you on a re-watch. Thinking back on that earlier part in the Oasis restaurant, it will have a ton of "Oh yeah, that guy!" moments the second time around. Gave it an 8/10.
  11. They're all good, but Aria of Sorrow is the best of the three.
  12. Haven't heard mine yet then? lmao
  13. Wow Jeevan that sounds awesome, I messed around with that Famitracker for an hour and couldn't do squat.
  14. If my atrocious chip tune is acceptable, I have a bingo!
  15. Nothing like a nice refreshing iced sweet tea, when coming in from the August heat.
  16. I had to think about this one for a bit. Should I show my most valuable game? Well no, because I'm not particularly fond of it. So I had to think about what was special, and what would truly bum me out if it went missing (or something). I traded all my childhood NES games away, and this is the oldest game that I still have (well not counting SMW as that was a pack-in) from back then. My Mom got me this for Christmas: This is MY Final Fantasy II, we've even got the video where I unwrapped it. You can see me just casually throw the inner baggie into the pile of discarded wrapping paper. But I kept everything else, as best I could at least. It's only been in a box protector for about 2 years. I've played it many times, and I'd be hard pressed to pick a Final Fantasy game I like more than this one. It was a glorious combination of game play, story, and characters, with a touch of right place/right time for this game during my more impressionable years that make me love it so much.
  17. I was wrong about the SOTN demo, it was in fact just a soundtrack selection. The package looks like it should be a demo so my brain just filed it away as one.
  18. That part is frustrating. You have to line him up straight on and then just get lucky that he's not too far or even too close when you lunge the boat.
  19. Okay here's my most of my Castlevania games. There's more Castlevania in my collection; guides, imports, cd soundtracks, figures, etc. but I think this was enough pictures for today. Here they are all together in one pic: Here's the classics, these 4 games are some of my all time favorites. I had all of these in my youth. Sadly I traded them in, along with all my other childhood NES games, for a Game Gear of all things. I know some of you love Game Gear, but that burned me and is now one of my biggest regrets. I very quickly traded that Game Gear toward a Sega CD Model 2, for which I got the Lunar games, so at least that happened. So over time I've been re-getting all those games I foolishly traded away. First I got Castlevania II sometime in the way early 00's at GameStop when they still had them (it was also around this time I re-bought most of my games, but loose). That box is ratty and it's been on my list to get upgraded for some time. I got Castlevania a few years back from someone on Nintendoage, but I've forgotten who. And I eBayed Castlevania III, last year maybe, the box isn't pristine but it's acceptable. A buddy found me Super Castlevania IV semi locally and grabbed it for me, it's the Majesco version and still needs a manual, but I'm glad to finally have it in box again. Here's Castlevania Dracula X, also got it around the same time as Castlevania II in the early aughts. Yeah, I got lucky that it was the one I got CIB again so early on. After Dracula X and the first two Game Boy games, I'm the first owner of all the rest of these. Symphony of the Night is one of my favorite games of all time, I've played through it many times over the years. I have the pre-order soundtrack cd and a demo cd (I think), I should look for those for a picture. The greatest hits one I have is still sealed. And Castlevania Chronicles is great, but I'd really rather just play 1 or 4. The Genesis game is so good. I found the cardboard version at Toys R' Us back when they were clearing out their 'last gen' leftovers. Who knows why I opened it though, since I had the other one it seems rather dumb for younger me to have done that. I'd never played it to the end until recently (had to get that trophy on PS4), I think I had a psychological block to overcome because I had convinced myself this one was impossible hard. It wasn't. And of course, I forgot to put these in the picture of them all together. I'd always argue with people that the N64 games weren't that bad, and that they were quite good once you get going. And I'd probably still stand by that, but at this point I haven't played them in so long I only vaguely remember them. The two PS2 games I also enjoyed in the past, but haven't revisited them in years either. I'm motivated to play them again though, since some of the Netfilx series was inspired by Curse of Darkness. Here's Lords of Shadow 1 & 2. I liked these more than most it seems. I didn't mind that it was reboot, and I liked the God of War inspired game play. The budget on these games was higher, the spectacle was amazing, and the story went interesting places ( ). The second one I think was really unfairly judged by everyone. It's even metroidvania-like, unlike the first. Castlevania Judgement is good for a laugh, mostly from the "what were they thinking" factor. I didn't get a Game Boy till the Color came out. So I got loose carts for Adventure and Belmont's Revenge, they've long been on my list to upgrade. However I don't particularly like them, and just like Bloodlines I didn't ever finish them until the PS4 collection motivated me to get the trophies. To those of you who beat these without save states... you guys rule cause I doubt that I will ever have that much patience. Never finished Legends, they didn't include it on the Anniversary Collection, so I'm still not motivated. Legends is another I'm super glad to have already. And I got Castlevania on GBA Classics, because that's what a fan/collector does. What they shouldn't do is open it up, play it for 5 minutes, and stick it in the box; which is what I did. Alright the GBA and DS games are the true continuation of this series to me. The 3D games are enjoyable, but these are where the good stuff is. Oh and the Double Pack is sealed, I think by then I'd finally learned not to open everything up if I already had it. What's your favorite and least favorite Castlevania?
  20. Finished Jaws on NES this morning. I needed something to knock out for a bingo square, and this game is quick and easy. Compared to other old games, I actually play this one fairly often because it is so short. It's not a great game, but its pretty fun. It is a thousand times better than the movie Jaws the Revenge that it's based off of. Folks into shmups should also check it out.
  21. I thought it said PS3 earlier, but now it says PSN... so it can be a PS4 plat? Don't worry, I already have My Name is Mayo, lol. I was going to try for Sound Shapes on PS3, but if PS4 counts I will probably do Wolf Among Us.
  22. 15,510 Hey guys, today was the first time I'd even tried Mappy. I may sink some more time into this one for a better score. The kiddos saw me playing and took over for a while, they didn't stay interested for very long though.
  23. 68,050 Those guys in the hats that throw out words... they take too many hits to kill and are standing where you can't make jumps or even reach them to kill them. Unless maybe I'm missing how to do something?
