  1. What did this sell for initially? I don't even remember. I guess I'll put it on ebay, but what would be a good starting value for it?
  2. hello everyone, Could I get a price check on this Twin Dragons bundle? I got this from their kickstarter and I believe its a limited edition. It is in brand new condition and never opened. It comes with stickers, posters, limited edition Orange and Green cart and unopened boxes. I can't find any similar sales anywhere, so I'm unsure what value to place on it.
  3. I have a copy that is brand new still in the original packaging sent from RetroUsb. How much does this go for? I can't find any recent sales.
  4. Spring is here and everything is blooming. Here is a beautiful sunflower stem.
  5. There’s a small pond that hosts ducks and geese nearby. I found these vorticella suspended on a lily pad
  6. So I found a mushroom on my front lawn and put it under the microscope. I don't think this is what Mario had in mind. Or maybe it is?
  7. What do you mean? Other people also agreed that it’s boring. So I win
  8. A lot of nes games are boring, but I’d say most of them are rather fun and interesting. The modern games have too much fluff. I really don’t play anything past the GameCube. It’s all cute graphics with useless courier quests and no real substance. Funny thing about this topic is that I really like Solstice which some people might consider boring. The controls take some getting used to but there’s a game where you really have to use your brain. There are no mega bosses or flashy light shows. Just pure simple gameplay. The aimless wandering never feels pointless. You always feel like you’re making progress I still have to try Equinox the snes sequel.
  9. Hey thanks for watching. I enjoy making these types of videos. The microscopic world is so fascinating so it never gets old seeing what these tiny creatures are up.
  10. Another specimen for my microscope. This time some Tulip pollen from my neighbor's garden. Really beautiful but also strange.
  11. Any game where the devs basically show and tell you how to beat it, is inherently flawed in my opinion. I love classic Nintendo hard games. Even homebrews like battle kid etc. I thoroughly enjoy the difficulty. But it comes balanced with reward and progress and more importantly, enjoyment. Metroid to me is monotonous and sterile. There’s no thrill to the game. I never get any satisfaction from doing anything. I’m just aimlessly wandering around. It’s like Legacy of the Wizard. Another game that tries too hard to be so cryptic that in the end, I don’t care what the solution is. But maybe I will try the maps. If I can just get past the midpoint I feel like I might be able to see it through to the end.
  12. *I added a poll to my first post* From the comments, I think I'm right about Metroid, it is boring. I haven't read a convincing argument against that. But I think the key is that some things can be boring AND still be enjoyed by people. For example, watching golf on the television is boring, but some people actually like it. That being said, unless I find a Nintendo guide, I think I'm done with this game. Perhaps I'll try Metroid Zero, or the SNES Metroid. That one is on my backlog, but I wanted to give Nes Metroid a good try before getting to it.
  13. The crystals are made of Copper Sulfate. They should last forever as far as I know. If you seed a crystal, you can make a large one that looks stunning and is nice to place on your desk.
  14. Not a troll post. If I try really hard, I guess I can see why some people enjoy this game. I just don’t like it at all. I spent countless hours as a kid wandering around aimlessly and never accomplished a damn thing. Recently picked it up again, and nope, still can’t get into it. what am I missing? I want to give another chance. Should I play it with a guide? Wouldn’t that be cheating? I must be doing something wrong with all the praise this game gets. Help me please.
