I've not followed along toooo closely, so I'll ask - have games been graded Wata 10 yet? If so, what makes that possible? Like, hew spectacularly perfect does a game have to be?

I noticed that too, pretty bizarre to me. I'm not sure if they bother to check the serial numbers or something to verify that the cart and manual actually originally came with THAT box (not likely) so it's easy to send a garbage box with mint cart/manual (easy to obtain on their own) and get a decent grade.

Tbh I don't like the whole tiers thing where you can pay more to get it done faster. If everyone jumps on the top tier the poor schmucks at the bottom get fucked. Once again tossing more money at it beats out those who can't necessarily afford to drop an extra hundred on it. But I suppose this is all par for the course in the grading game, and it's a business.

GoCollect bought GVN yes. To my knowledge nobody is checking the emails that are sent to GVN Support. You'd be better off sending emails to GoCollect asking about it. That said, like NA, they have no plans to my knowledge to update GVN (it'd make no sense to do so - they have their own offering which they've shown off at PRGE).

@Deadeye There's a dude a few cities away with two of that exact model, $350 a piece or $600 for both (Canadian). Does that sound worth it? How heavy are they? I'll have to take the train a few cities over there lug it all the way home, probably hour and a half or so both ways...

@Deadeye I'd say I'm fairly flexible. 14' or so sounds good to me. I'll be fairly close to the screen. I have a SNES and N64, both RGB modded, and SCART cables for both. I also have the HDRetrovision cable which they both can use. My goal is simply to be able to use my SNES and N64 on this TV which will be hidden away in the corner of my bedroom. I want a lag-free and good looking experience. High quality for sure is a must, though I am not looking to spend a grand if I can help it. Ideally as "plug and play" as possible. I'd like to avoid having to buy some sort of adapter. Extra nice to have: If I can play PS1 on it as well that'd be lovely.

SNES, PS1, and PS2. Simply the most playably fun games IMO.

I dunno that we really need people to report every time NA goes down though eh? It's a pretty regular occurrence.

I got beaten up a few times for being so into video games so probably best to have kept it to yourself depending on your area and age.
