It's been too long since I last had a chance to sit and play, so I've basically forgotten everything about where I was in Extermination (PS2). I think I'm gonna have to move on to another game and revisit it some other time. Feeling like a nice relaxing RPG.

Hopefully next year I can participate before all the good games are gone.

Sorry to hear about that, I hope you feel better soon. In these things honest communication are key. Your feelings are valid and if you're not ready to move on, have that conversation. You both need to be ready, or it won't work. As FC said - take the time you need to grieve.

I've got the Shout Factory Halloween set on preorder, and they should arrive well in advance, so I'll be watching those for sure.

GOG (previously "Good Old Games") is a DRM-free service for buying games. Think Steam but you can download the games' install files and there's no DRM whatsoever; share the files with family and friends without fear of reprimand, nor of the need to be online on some service just to play, well, Doom. It's primarily a place for older PC games, but they do new releases as well. I use it as my go-to for purchasing games wherever possible because I am firmly anti-DRM. Webhead described the 4th episode so I'll skip that.

The Hyperion Cantos is split into 4 books, the first two and the last two being hundreds of years separated. You really need to read the second book! You basically just read The Fellowship of the Ring.

A few months ago while I was playing Oldschool Runescape, a popular Runescape Youtuber posted a video claiming he was the first in the world to get a specific item in a time limited mode. He wasn't, however - I had it well before he did. I'm just not a popular Youtuber and he's out there tryna get them views. It's the same thing here. We know it's not the world's only copy of whatever game, this and that, etc.. But like with the Youtuber, it really wasn't worth me wasting my time typing out and potentially having to then defend my position on the situation, and at the end of the day who gives a shit; it's just a game. Dude's on ebay tryna make a buck, so he's gonna hype his wares. Same deal as R@RE L@@K HOLY GRAIL bullshit, they're just trying to get any attention at all on their item. I'd focus my energy on the bigger fish, personally. Not that I think this thread or your thoughts are moot or pointless or anything, by all means continue to discuss; just my thoughts. Your time is valuable!

If you're concerned about a member I'd generally ask that you report it or message a staffer/mod. Not really something that needs to be public. That said, since it's public anyway - I had considered this already and no, they do not seem to be the same person as far as our reporting is concerned.
