what is the list of game you have as "Reprints"  listing

I just went over the USA-1 list on the first page and found them there. Just a sample of examples:

Electrobrain: (Hudson Soft, HAL games) - Bonk's Adventure/ Revenge, Revenge of the Gator, Trax, Felix the Cat.

Natsume: (Taito games) - Chase HQ, Super Chase HQ, Elevator Action

Sunsoft: (Vic Tokai, Squaresoft games, Data East) Aero Star, Daedalion Opus, Final Fantasy Legends, Lock N Chase.

lol thought i replaced that part oh well,  but the list i posted was what i have.

Wow! Thank you for sharing this comprehensive list. This is great information. Do you happen to have the date codes for the complete -1 variant list as well? I didn't see the date codes included in the Google doc. It would be interesting to see what changes were made to the boxes on USA-1 releases. (Aside from the ones with the obvious publisher change, players choice badge, and esrb).

OK, this is a little off topic but i had to post somewhere.

i picked up the equivalent of the SML -2  AND SML2 -3 version for EUR.  upon inspection, i think i have found the newest GRAY DMG Carts.??

Has anyone see a new date on gray carts?  IRC @RH, said he had a FF or FF2 that was done in 1999.

@JVOSS If you have any of the Sunsoft FFs, it might be worth checking. I'd have to dig mine out.  What I recall is that they were rereleased in 1999, but it might have been 1998.  I loved those game so much as a younger kid, I bought all four of them and kept them sealed for about 6-7 years before I (regrettably) sold them.  Sure, they were re-issues but I had no clue that I'd become a GB collector back when I sold those.  They would have been the gems of my current collection.

Ok, then my originals should be 1998 too.  I know I had read about them being reissued in a magazine and I bought them the week they came out.  I don't know how long they were released, but gauging by sales on eBay, the later variants seem to be about 50/50 as common as the originals.  There's a chance these were produced and sold for an entire year, which would mean that these games very well could have been produced all the way into 1999.

Hah you all saw it. Well good news, I bought it. I've been looking for a rated-E SML to possibly replace mine, which is in... sub-optimal condition (wink @RH) and it comes up so rarely that I decided to just buy any that I find, so that a collector ends up with it, instead of a flipper, since these variants are starting to become noticed, and marked up as such.

So I bought that copy, with the intent to pass it along to one of you guys at cost. I guess the tricky part is deciding who gets it. I'm out of town for the rest of the week, so I won't have it in hand until Friday.

I say have a competition. Beat score in SML 1 wins!

@Splainwhom ever YOU decide, will be grateful!

everyone here is interested in getting this for one reason or another.

Yes I still keep on the lookout for these even though I have them for same reason as Splain; to pass them on to others here if I find an extra

Not to divert the discussion, but I still need Sunsoft versions of FFA and FFL II. I just saw this on eBay. Check out the date code on this FFA.

Mid-September 2000! This thins was potentially sold around Christmas 2000. 😲🤯

What’s with the black sharpie in the middle of the board? I was thinking a QA check, but they didn’t do this in all the other GB games, so what gives?

the only qroup that uses black sharpie for QA is the CHN boards. they have the cart number printed on them.  like dmg-101-chn will have the 101 on the board in pen.  in my opinion it's a collector tracking their carts through sales.
