  1. Donald Trump isn't pleased at all. He just posted this on twitter. This man is about to go nuclear...I wonder if an emergency impeachment will have to be done? This time, an ACTUAL full blown impeachment. He is clearly not going to concede peacefully.
  2. Ain’t no diss. I grew up with crazy bones! I don’t remember if it was an official game or not, but I remember we used to throw them and depending on which way they landed we awarded ourselves points! I remember certain bones being highly coveted for their “balance” as well.
  3. The fact that Biden’s lead in overall vote count is measured in the MILLIONS but this being still such a tight race proves that the electoral college system is deeply, deeply flawed. Another thing that’s sickening is the fact that we only have two viable parties. I’m willing to bet that there are more people in America who want to smoke weed with their gay-married friends at the gun range then there are people who are hard anti-gay, or hard anti-gun...yet only the Libertarian party represents those people and NOONE votes for them. wtf. (ps don’t smoke weed at the gun range...I don’t want to clean up blood off the shooters booth just because you were messed up....don’t drink either, even though some ranges offer alcohol....and STOP throwing brass in the trash....it’s how I get paid and I don’t enjoy digging it out)
  4. If it gets the investor types to dilute their collective wallets then I'm all for it. Hey, maybe they can move to vhs, pogs, and crazy bones while they're at it!
  5. Also, there's two print runs of Bubble Bobble 2. One of which comes with TAI-NES-US-5 and the other which comes with TAI-NES-US-6. I do not have the print dates on them since I never scanned my old copy when I owned it...looking to replace it soon :V
  6. I only know of one print run of Dinosaur Peak. That is, 31116 for both the box and the manual. This number translates to November 16, 1993. The cartridge has the PRG and CHR both stamped as 9347 which translates to the 47th week of 1993 which is some time between November 22, 1993 and November 28, 1993. (Note: that date range isn't exactly known since I do not know how the machine that stamps the chips counts weeks...e.g. does it count week one at 00 or 01? does it start week 1 at January 1 or does it run in from last year? does it start the week on a sunday or monday? too many variables to consider) NES-USA/CAN-2 would almost definitely be the correct insert.
  7. Honestly? I have none, there is in my opinion, no compatible solution when the human population is close to 8 billion. Even gods own chosen people turned away from *that* way of thinking over 2500 years ago when 1 Samuel was written and the Jews asked for a king. I don’t expect everyone to take part in my extreme view either. If they did, society as it currently functions would probably not exist (for better or worst I don’t know)
  8. We no longer have Kings in the new world, but the concept of a President is still very similar. Its more specifically 10-18, and gods own words in 7-9 are chilling. I interpret gods words as saying that to have a king (or President) is to have a false god.
  9. I slept fine because I ultimately don’t care who the president is. I have my personal gripes for sure, but I equally dislike Biden, and Trump. The day a libertarian has a real chance is the day I’ll personally endorse a candidate and vote. (Then again, 1 Samuel 8:1-21 tells me that I should ever vote at least the way I interpret it) There’s no need for “MAGA” when America is already great. But people need slogans...
  10. Well, NJ just legalized recreational marijuana. I may finally try it for once in my life and see if it can cure my (undiagnosed) PTSD after losing my son. I get daily panic attacks and wake up in cold sweats every few nights so might as well.
  11. While I want Joe to win out of spite, I feel Donald is going to win again. The man is an entertainer and people forgot that politics is supposed to be just about as boring as watching paint dry.
  12. A true eccentric artist if you ask me!
  13. You never made one mentioning me, but I’d also pay for one of your art pieces as well...as long as it was printed on the worst inkjet possible. Preferably one that was low on ink with streaks.
  14. I refuse to believe a word that comes out of his mouth after using the Bible as a prop, after botching the COVID-19 response, and just being an awful human being in general. I do not believe in Biden either, but at this point I hope he wins just out of spite. Donald Trump brought nothing but disrespect to the highest office in the world, and hundreds of thousands of innocent people needlessly died because of his cowardice to act swiftly in the early days of the pandemic. America has 4% of the global population, but a quarter of global cases. That tells me that he failed and doesn’t deserve a second chance. Fuck Donald Trump, and everyone who enabled him from 2016 to 2020, myself included.
  15. Aww. Well if something changes let me know! I’ll even buy a print if you don’t want to sell the original.
  16. I can vouch for this guy. I purchased his NES lot earlier this summer and he was very easy to work with! Great guy overall.
  17. My Bday was the 29th, my wife couldn’t find a Link costume for our youngest, so she went with Peter Pan and we pretended it was Link.
  18. Easier solution is to keep everything together to prevent parts separation or mixing things up without realizing, and just use brown cardboard boxes to store everything with some styrofoam pieces. Put one sheet of foam on the bottom of the box, then a sheet of styrofoam between every console, and finally a piece of styrofoam on the top...now you even have the ability to stack multiple cardboard boxes together without any damage to the precious contents because the gradual damage is happening to the cheap cardboard, and not the expensive cardboard!
  19. I think I kept this on the back burner long enough. I need to apologize for ignoring the topic, when I wrote this up only a few days later my first cousin, the only person I could call my “older brother” died of a massive heart attack for unknown reasons. That aside, I’d like to bring up this topic again. @fcgamer the reason I’m focusing on this is because I believe there’s a need to define such a thing in order to document the history of gaming in a uniform way. Its easy to make a chart of a series like Wonderboy / Adventure Island to pick what’s the same, what’s different, where the split is, etc...but it’s not as easy to do so when looking at the whole picture of all 50,000ish game releases across 200ish game consoles and handhelds. So here are my opinions on the matter. #1 We can not consider software revisions as a new game, because a software change can be as small as a typo in an Easter egg in a hidden side quest, or as large as a rebalance of the entire game. #2 We should not consider title changes because then when you look at titles between countries you have multiple duplicates of the same game with a different name #3 The overall EXPERIENCE is what matters. When you play USA’s contra, you have experienced what Europeans would have experienced in Probotector I firmly believe that there’s a need to separate the concept of a “game” from a “publication” The “game” of Contra for example can be defined by its mechanics, while the “publication” of Contra and Probotector can be defined by their plot and goals. The line is a little blurry for extreme cases like Mario 2 / Doki Doki Panic, or Yo Noid / Karen No Ninja but they are the minority that require debate in order to pin them down in an academic way. The same argument can be had for add on games, expansion packs, and DLC. But I think that’s a debate for a different day (also, the Knuckles game on Sega genesis really scares me...) here’s my final example that I think drives my point home: Nintendo World Championships. One can say it’s just a compilation of Mario, Tetris, and Rad Racer...but the goal of the “game” isn’t to defeat Bowser, clear lines, or win a race....it’s to get the highest score possible at the game’s end screen. Yes “Super Mario Bros.” is a PART of NWC, and the game of Mario is wholly contained within the cartridge....but no one can say that the goal is to save the princess when the game screen itself explicitly says to gather coins.
  20. (Current) Ultimate goal for me is to have at least one CIB of every NES game of every region, scan them, and then sell what I don’t need. Some items I’ll likely never see end up here: I don’t expect to own a Phantom Air Mission, Snowboard Challenge, SMB/Tetris/World Cup from European regions...I don’t expect to own a HES Vindicators, or 2 Pack Special from Australia...I can’t even dream of ever owning a CIB Mah Jong (though I have a friend who owns Dains old CIB) Once I achieve this goal, SNES and Game Boy are next.
  21. these are all actually drawn!? Any plans on selling the drawings? I’d love to get my hands on that Samson and Wrecking Crew Mario.
  22. So we all agree that we’re basically done with this virus, even though the virus isn’t done with us yet? ... I guess we deserve what’s coming this winter.
  23. Give the man a break! ... Though it would be nice to have an Advent calendar. Quick @Gloves and @CasualCart, make an official VGS advent calendar using 25 of these!
  24. Mission Complete Mr. Bond. Rest in peace.
