  1. I imagine they would find you pretty annoying too, tbh, no one likes the scent of caca pants.
  2. Nope, there were cries for disbanding the police after the George Floyd death in Minneapolis. People wanted the police to be disbanded, it wasn't just that area either, it was nation wide. Now suddenly you guys want police, such hypocrites, bitch no matter what happens.

    Music

Nothing better than just sitting on the couch with the air con running, drinking and listening to music, head pointed towards the sky. Been doing this since I was a teen, anyone else do this?
  4. I thought we wanted to get rid of the police. Why suddenly the need for them now?
  5. Are these still available for purchase and where? I love this sort of shit, lol.
  6. I thought we didn't like the police, now suddenly we want the police back and to do their jobs? Weird.
  7. Better yet, those of us who have one of these should pool our money together to each own part of the others that go up for sale.
  8. Someone should buy up all the ones that have recently gone up for sale to corner the market.
  9. @bowserivr got similar type situations with pirate famicom carts.
  10. I'd be so lost without someone playing who was in a similar time zone as me.
  11. Also, if you guys have young children (pre school to maybe first or second grade), you might want to check out my brother's line of children's stories, titled The Legend of Poo Panties the Cat. There's four stories so far in the series, with a new book being created every month or month and a half. The stories follow a stinky cat and his forest friends, as well as a boy, Willie, who has autism. https://www.amazon.com/s?i=stripbooks&rh=p_27%3AThomas++L+Allwein I'm extremely proud of my brother for creating these stories, as he is on the spectrum himself and this project has finally given him a way to build his confidence and hash out a better, more meaningful life for himself.
  12. Okay! So the book my brother and I wrote, Hot Pot Runs, is finished and available on Amazon at the link below: https://www.amazon.com/Hot-Pot-Runs-Dave-Allwein/dp/B0B1CK6G72 There is also a Famicom Hot Pot Runs game to accompany the book, essentially it's the same game that the team of developers create and produce in the book. We will start building and assembling cartridges this weekend coming up. The game will be CIB, as it seems that's what members here favor, and TBH I prefer CIB too. Now just to reiterate, this game is not very good, but when viewed from within the context of the book, it fits perfectly, and I think it's still pretty fun to read the story and then be able to play the actual game, for better or for worse. So how do I get the game? 1: Order the book and take a picture that you ordered it 2: DM me here with the picture, and then I'll give you payment details for the game 3: After you pay, I'll send out a cartridge. I'll also send you a postcard with a hand-written thank you note on it. Payment for the game: 1: Postal money orders / cheques 2: Paypal friends & family 3: "Trade" - i.e. you can purchase for me an item that's of a similar price, and then I'll send you the game Important notes: 1: Cost of the book is just under $15, which means that the cost for the Hot Pot Runs game will be $65. Shipping is included in this price. 2: I can only send parcels to the countries on the list at the moment, due to Covid-19 (please see image). A few countries I can only send by EMS or whatever, so the shipping would be a bit more. We can figure something out though, as there's always a way to help each other in this lovely community 3: I won't sell the game to people who don't purchase (and hopefully read) the book. The rationale is that the game is just a fun little collector's piece for you guys, but without the book, it honestly wouldn't have been created. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for the support
  13. It's NTSC by default, Japanese games on Famicom are the default NTSC. The 72 pin ones are reprints
  14. Yeah it's usually $69. I reduced the price, not Amazon
  15. Trust me, both my bank account and my sex drive do too
  16. Nah, I remember getting this one in 1997 or 1998 and I had a lot of fun with it. The Metroidvania-style Castlevanias on GBA were easily some of the biggest dog turds I've ever played, and I used to have to scoop up dig shit before mowing the lawn.
  17. Volume 1 is on sale this weekend only! https://www.amazon.com/Family-Bits-1-Dave-Allwein/dp/B09X5QWB74
  18. Bump! Price lowered for the weekend only!
  19. Well while Kung Fu is harder to find, it's not terribly expensive still. I don't think anyone generally counts the Space School carts or the limited promo games, for example, just like the Japanese collectors sometimes collect select unlicensed games, though they never count them towards a the set (but they should!). Anyways I'm not going to mention here which two carts I'm missing, but I've mentioned plenty of times why I don't really see them as part of the set. Oh I also forgot about Famicom Disk System, that's another set I'm going after, though it's not a huge priority since the technology sucks and it's so easy to create "reprints"
  20. Not familiar with these guys, though yeah I agree that it's cool if they actually did make it out of Australia. So many great bands got stuck over there, like Spiderbait and Powderfinger. Listened to the songs posted, a few of them I found pretty good, though the rest just didn't do much for me. Never really got the whole screaming vocals thing though - I see screaming as something that can enhance a song when used in small doses, but that's about it.
