  1. On a different note though, it would be nice to see votes for more recent games than Star Keeper and other old ones that have been around forever
  2. Oh I didn't see that rule, in that case please disregard my vote.
  3. Vote: Mr Lee's Alishan Tea Collector Unique theme, fun gameplay reminiscent of early Famicom / NES games, with hints of Donkey Kong 94 thrown in.
  4. Sadly Gettysburg isn't so interesting to me without Chinese on the box. The thing is, I grew up from around that area, hence why I was initially drawn to it. Still interested in Castlevania though.
  5. Ok maybe my inbox was full when you sent me a message, I just looked today and didn't see anything, sadly, though I still will apologize for the seemingly rudeness on my part, though it wasn't intentional. Anyways, things on my site (www.maliscash.com) are for trade. If there was something else that you wanted, I have other unlisted things too, I'm sure you know my collection better than me
  6. I know I've shown these before, might as well show them again.
  7. There's a bootleg of this game that's been translated into Chinese. The box focuses on Hitler.
  8. I found this today in a bunch of scrap, bootleg Sega game. I guess it didn't have a battery as... well just look at the picture to decide for yourself what's going on. Maybe @SNESNESCUBE64 would find this amusing.
  9. I'll have to check my inbox, I don't recall seeing a message
  10. Does Gettysburg have any Chinese on the box? Like on the back or anything? It and Castlevania monopoly, I'd trade you things for those two if you want.
  11. Bump! Just redesigned the site a bit, though I'll be making tweaks here and there throughout the next several weeks. Added about 60 or so Famiclone cartridges last week, and added three old, boxed Famiclone machines today. Also listed are some loose Famiclone oddities, such as the Bit Corp Creator. Later this week I'll add some more GB items as well as some Sega. Be sure to subscribe to our mailing list to get 10% off your first order, and stop by often, as new products are added frequently.
  12. As a whole, I really dislike cover bands. I've been stuck hearing mediocre music all afternoon as the restaurant down the street has been hosting some live music. These musicians have some talent, but it gets really tiring to hear the same handful of covers over, and over, and over. In my opinion, the performance would be so much more memorable if these musicians decided to slowly start introducing their own music into the set, and then do originals, working their way up to all original music with the occasional cover. It's very rare that I see a cover band do it well. Most of the time it just sounds cheap and sucks, or sounds alright but is boring. Throw in a looper machine and oh man, just shoot me.
  13. What are Hong Kong NES factory test carts?

    Cycling

Well I received a message from my new cycling partner this afternoon. Anyways he said he and his buddy (the other guy that joined us today for the ride, I guess?) want to ride from Taichung City down to Chiayi, and then back to Taichung City on the last Monday of this month. The distance is just over 200 kilometers, I'm not sure of the terrain. I'm always scheduled to work on Mondays but the decision to join my friend or not was easily made after receiving an out-of-the-blue message today from my supervisor with a ridiculous deadline for some work. Fuck 'em, after sacrificing so much over the years to a management that only knows how to take, take, take, I think I'd rather flake out on work and go on the adventure of a lifetime. Not really feeling the distance, but I'm gonna feel awesome after conquering it!

Went out for my first ride of the season this morning. The owner of the coffee shop across the street from me, who is also a potential future bandmate, has been begging me for about two months to get out with him and a few friends of his. Went out and bought two cycling jerseys yesterday at lunchtime, got my bike in order and went out this morning for a quick two hour ride before work. Woke up at 4:30, rode from about 5:40 to 7:40, now at work by 8:30. We might try getting out in the mornings several times a week in the future.

I hope so too, that sounds like it will be a fun time.

That's good, if I can't do about 50 on a trip it's not worth going out.

Sweet send me a DM! I have no idea if the PS joystick works, the Wii stuff is brand new.

Heading out Wednesday morning before work with a new cycling partner, hopefully we make it back before I need to be at work, not that I really care at this stage in the game. Looks to be an easy ride, which will be perfect for my first ride of the season.

Free stuff, I'll offer these up until I manage to take it out to recycling. Could be this Friday, or next, or... well it just depends on my lazy ass. Recycling comes on Fridays, but it's in the morning so I'm usually more concerned about getting my ass into work. We have a PS controller, though it's missing the chords / receiver, a Nintendo of Europe Mario display though some of the characters are missing or missing limbs, and some Wii bootleg crap. All is free, you just pay shipping. For people I'm familiar with you can reimburse me for postage after it's been mailed, as a reference generally about one kilo of weight is $12 - $15 for shipping so it is cheap to mail.
  21. Wouldn't say it was my best day, but November 14th was pretty legendary, about 18 years ago
  22. Every year there's a huge pilgrimage that begins in the city in which I live, here in Taiwan. Before I used to live right along the coast and saw the progression as everyone passed through the districts along the coast, but I've since moved downtown; however I've wanted to walk this pilgrimage for years. It takes about a week, as they take Mazu the sea goddess to a temple down south and back again, and I might try to walk the whole thing next year as I won't be working. This year though, I am content with walking for one day's length of the journey, joined by my father-in-law. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dajia_Mazu_Pilgrimage Anyways just got home a little while ago. I'm quite sore after walking eight hours in 86F degree weather, also got sunburnt on my face, let's just say a lot of those folks never saw a red-faced white guy. Overall it was quite an interesting day.
  23. Called home to talk with my dad last night and my mom comes in saying that O J Simpson is dead. My dad's first response was, "Did somebody shoot him?"
