  1. I stand corrected, that wasn't intuitive to me. Thank you sir.
  2. I would normally lambast you for not using a simple search to find the big thread about this, but your Lord of Tresserhorn avatar is awesome so you get a pass. TLDR: there's a big thread about this. It's currently down.
  3. Not one word of this makes sense. What authority would Nintendo possibly have on other companies games and how they were sealed? Also the bulk of VGAs business comes from AFA, so they're going nowhere.
  4. No reason to apologize, I don't understand what they authenticate with protos either. I feel like it's disingenuous to claim authority on items noone has ever seen before, and yet they seem to do it.
  5. I don't understand what you're expecting them to authenticate if it's a board to a game that has no official release. Just that it looks real?
  6. That is another issue altogether. In their November update they said all tiers would reopen Dec 1st, 2019. The Speedrun (10 day) has NEVER been reopened, again, lending itself to the fact that they have two tiers, pay $135 for speed, or pay $35 to $50 for whatever who cares.
  7. Just a plug that VGA offers guaranteed dates for your order completion with the selected tier. I just send in an Archval tier 8 days ago and It is already shipped and I have 9 games coming back tomorrow. VGA has never been more on their game and it makes Wata look like amateur hour. I really don't care if Wata doesn't have enough people to fulfill their services. If they're knowing accepting money for services they know they cannot provide then they should be reported. In my experience they have two tiers: Pay $135 a game to get it graded in 48 hours Pay $35 to $75 a game to get it graded whenever they feel like
  8. HA has gone truly mad. It's so interesting and terrifying.
  9. I don't blame the pyros, I blame the scum that sold them matches.
  10. They retold a story that's already been told, but worse. It added absolutely nothing and came off a cynical mess. Whoever said Terminator ended with 2 is largely correct. I give Salvation props for at least trying to be different.
  11. This 100 percent. ECCD has a lot going for it. 1. To this day, is one of the most violent games ever created. The spritework is fantastic. 2. The CG was done by the same company that went on to do Beast Wars and many other professional CG offerings. 3. Jam packed full of content, like having nearly as many unlockable characters as the base roster, really setting it apart from the Genny version, and showing a what a truly enhanced Sega CD game should be. It's a shame that Sega of Japan was so ignorant back in the 90s, making dumb decision after dumb decision. Eternal Champions could have been another Mortal Kombat in the west, but they killed the series to promote Virtua Fighter 2. Glad that worked out for them. I mean undead rotting vampire vs resurrected gunslinger, fighting aboard a pirate ship under cannonball fire is no match for skinny block man named Jack vs skinny block woman named Sara, fighting on non-descript skinny block, when it comes to capturing a kid's attention.
  12. I suppose it's subjective but I don't consider a blister to be the conventional definition of sealed, unless that game in that region was never sealed besides a blister. That in an of itself makes a huge difference. A sealed game opened from a blister would be labelled U, not Q.
  13. Was the game factory sealed under the blister? If not the conversation is irrelevant, it was never a sealed game.
  14. You already have a clean CIB copy under the wrap. You're only destroying what already exists, a net negative. Would be like skinning yourself because you're bothered by a mole.
  15. Turning a sealed game into a not sealed game over your personal whim is the textbook definition of sociopathy against history, but I forgive you cretins for making sealed games rarer.
  16. Quick, to the NA forum to voice your concerns!! Lawl...
  17. My last order was 5 day speed run. They scanned my package Dec 7th. I got my shipping notice yesterday. Best to think of their pricing tiers as Patrion: everyone is getting the same slow tier but you can choose to donate more if you want.
  18. China would never let the west into ground zero, they don't need outsiders reporting on how "humanely" they're treating their infected (or suspected) citizens.
  19. You know GPX, you're onto something bigger my friend. At the end of the day we're talking about numerical representations of someone's opinion on the condition of your videogame. In the grand scheme of what's important in the world, it doesn't crack the top million. Not worth getting tooooooo upset about.
  20. Grim Beard: Reviews mostly horror and macabre games for PC and console and his jokes, delivery and tirades usually crack me up so bad. No idea how he isn't a million subs channel.
  21. It's the latter, the sealed wraps are all A++ so I don't thiiiiiink it's external damage. It must be something else.
  22. Definitely not happy. The first game I crossed myself to get an idea of the scale difference. That came back a 9.8 so made sense. This last order was on behalf of someone else and the games were savagely graded less. Either Wata has changed their metrics or the games were damaged somehow. I won't be able to say until I get them in hand. I even called Wata the moment they uploaded the grades and asked what caused them to be so low and they "couldn't tell me" because I didn't order a grading report, despite them just being graded. I'm not trying to be negative or turn this into Wata bashing (even though I'm unlimitedly annoyed I paid for a 5 day speed run in Nov 2019 and I still don't have the games) but so much of this order is seemingly being handled asinine.
  23. Grading at Wata used to be somewhat clear cut but the last order I sent changed all that. I've subbed 3 VGA 90 games in two different orders. The first crossed to Wata 9.8. Two months later the remaining two crossed to Wata 9.4 and 9.2. It should be impossible to have that much variance so idk. I'll find out when I eventually get them back, someday.
  24. There's too many variables and not enough samples to ever have an analysis that was anything better than random. The difference between Game X selling for 20 and selling for 2000 is based on whether one person was interested in it or 2+ people.
  25. Time is money. You can afford to wait for the next big thing and not play what is available, go for it. But you'll be waiting forever as time doesn't stand still. Do youself a favor, next time the new Smash Bros or Zelda comes out, don't buy it. Wait until you're 100 percent sure all DLC is released and it's a complete game. I'm sure you won't writhe in agony at all.
