  1. Had burritos for lunch today from a local place we hadn't tried before, had one barbacoa and one chicharrón, got to say I'm not very fond of burritos but these were pretty decent, definitely would order again
  2. There's a full episode dedicated to burritos in Netflix series Taco Chronicles, explaining more than you ever need to know about them.
  3. Been fooling around with transform: rotate(45deg) I think it's better
  4. Great new wave revival band, I think it's close to the 80s stuff
  5. Very sorry for your loss, my condolences
  6. Blazing Lazers was based on a Japanese movie, it's called Gunhed, never watched it and most likely never will, the game is awesome, no need to watch a subpar film to enjoy it better.
  7. Ah I see now, forgot about it being a cover, I Heard A Rumor is nice enough, better than Cruel Summer in my opinion so nice choice there
  8. 1, 1, 2, 2, except for All Star I didn't recognize these songs by name but some sounded familiar, surprised not to see Bananarama's Venus but I Heard A Rumor was nice and my favorite of the bracket, also upon seeing Smash Mouth I was confident it was going to be knocked out soon, but in this weak bracket seems that it will have no trouble coming out on top.
  9. In a way yes haha, I sent him youtube links of some other songs including those you mention, he recognized/liked most of them but hadn't realize they were Tears for Fears songs
  10. Tears for Fears were really talented, it's just that this song overshadowed everything else they did, the other day a friend of mine undeservedly referred to Everybody Wants to Rule the World as their one hit wonder but I absolutely understand why. Pet Shop Boys have a few recognizable singles but nothing as huge as Rule the World, they're good and probably deserve their own thread but the backlog of bands must be huge at this point so this is a good way to get some of them out of the way.
  11. Definitively had more difficulty picking this time, I'm kind of lost when it comes to modern pop. Nice suggestions so far, I'll go with this one although they deserve their own thread in my opinion:
  12. I'd love to see The Clean but it's got to be Lorde most likely.
  13. I was wondering why Flagpole Sitta sounded so familiar, it's the song used on Peep Show during the intro, decent song for sure but not many songs might have a chance against Take On Me.
  14. It's about 1/3 fighting games, did a quick count and out of 148 titles I counted 53 one on one fighters, the impression that Neo Geo is all fighting games is probably because that's likely the type of games that were more profitable to arcade operators, in my experience in arcades I only saw 2 or 3 non fighting games ever in a Neo Geo cab, the rest were all King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury, etc.
  15. Nice suggestions so far, some of them have been on my bucket list for quite some time, unfortunately my wife doesn't take well the really bleak ones, I might be able to convince her to watch some of these like Mother (we both like Aronofsky and we haven't seen it) or something like The Road. A bit surprised Eraserhead was brought up, but Lynch is super popular so it makes sense, saw it once and that was enough lol. I've wanted to watch Irréversible for a long time, in fact most of Gaspar Noé films seem interesting.
  16. A few I can think of: Amores Perros Santa Sangre Mulholland Dr. Kids Pan's Labyrinth
  17. Are you using an Everdrive? I've seen similar problems when combining an Everdrive and a region mod, basically the extra circuits from the ED and region mod are pulling too much current out of the console, so your setup might be pulling too much juice out of the console and it's causing the problem, even if you're using original game cards I think your setup might be pulling too much juice out of the console causing this, maybe try a replacement power supply with more amperage?
  18. I've done a few recaps, mostly PC Engine Duos and a Game Gear, all of them necessary due to the use of surface mount electrolytic caps which were bad quality during that period of time (they tended to leak after a few years), aside from specific cases like these consoles and others already mentioned it's pretty safe to assume you don't need to recap unless you have obvious problems, most consoles use though hole caps that are safer, if you want to be sure you could inspect the caps in your consoles and see if you can spot bad ones: http://www.robotroom.com/Faulty-Capacitors-1.html
  19. I might play at least the sequel someday, right now I'm a little burned out, besides I'm trying to stick with my backlog (I'm getting used to Xenogears camera by now and beginning to enjoy it). Danganronpa seems nice too, thanks @Gloves, might give it a try as well someday, looks like it would be a good idea to get a Vita to play the series.
  20. Yes I got the real ending, after the 3rd playthrough I wasn't having it so googled tips on how to approach the game and finally settled to use a flowchart, turns out I was lucky to hit the prerequisite ending in the 3rd playthrough so I just had to do the real ending, I only missed one of the bad endings. I knew it was a visual novel so no surprises there, perhaps a little wordy at times, but the ending had too many twists for my taste and personally felt like a BS ending, some folks might like it but not me. I'll check out Virtue's Last Reward if I get in the mood for some point and click puzzles, thanks for the warning on Zero Time Dilemma.
  21. That sounds much nicer, thanks for the heads up, might actually play the sequel one of these days!
  22. I finished my first game a few days ago, it was 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors, it was very enjoyable at first but after 3 playthroughs (covering every path available until that point) it just got so tedious, every playthough you can fast forward previously read text but you have to do the puzzles again, the puzzles were good the first time you solve them and I really like the point and click gameplay, but forcing you to solve them every playthough? The story starts nice enough and keeps things somewhat interesting, but it all falls apart near the ending, the game is so text heavy that it gave me the same feel you get when you read a novel and the ending is terrible, it felt like a waste of time. I've started playing Xenogears now and I'm missing so much the good camera controls you get in Zelda 3-D games, let's see how it goes, I should be able to adjust to this limitation.
