  4. On Book 3 of a series called Holding Their Own.................12 books in all I believe. Has me hooked. A Story of Survival, is set in the year 2015, when the world is burdened by the second Great Depression. The United States, already weakened by internal strife, becomes the target of an international terror plot. A series of attacks results in thousands of casualties and disables the country's core infrastructure. The combination of economic hardship and the staggering blow of the terror attacks results in a collapse of the government. This is a realistic story of how an average, middle class couple survives the cascading events brought on by international politics, high tech military actions and the eventual downfall of society. All of their survival skills are tested during the action packed expedition in a world that resembles the American West of 200 years past.
  5. Watched The Irishman Saturday night. Loved it.
  6. Playing LOZ Minish Cap for GBA via Wii on my 36” CRT. Really makes the GBA and GB library extremely more enjoyable.

  11. Bahahahah. When you put it like that it does sound flipping bananas. lol
  12. Traded a hand me down chainsaw for these games. Craigslist AD. The only wanted $95 for Earthbound which is a deal but I still didn't want to spend cash. At the end of the listing they also noted they would trade for a chainsaw. Had a chainsaw that had been sitting in my shed for the last 5+ years cant even recall. I met with the seller at his place about 15 minutes from me and watched him spend a half hour trying to get the chainsaw to start which he eventually did and even test cut some logs with it. He told me he has a chainsaw addiction and this will be like his 12th chainsaw. I literally saw multiple chainsaws laying around the garage and even outback. lol. He is a picker and the SNES games were a recent "barn find" he told me. We agreed on EB and Contra III. I did not have a security bit with me but I have been doing this long enough to know what a legit EB label looks like and was not worried at all. Got it home and opened it up and cleaned it and tested fine and the battery was still good with a couple save files still on it. Honestly the whole thing was alot of fun. Beats spending money for stuff these days. Was a nice win I think. For me anyhow. The things we do.
  13. So what I need is a fully hydraulic VR chair that matches the movements.
  14. I believe I have read some discussion about that before. What exactly causes the reaction? Its not like I have puked or anything but its just the weirdest feeling of it just beginning to slowly creep up on me. After playing briefly I feel just icky. lol
  15. I pondered the same thing for awhile but wanted to demo VR before I spent the money. Found out after trying a friends PS4 VR I was one of those folks who get nausea from VR. Very neat tech but sadly not for me.
  16. I know who you got them from and I talked to him about them before you acquired them! Your secret is safe!!
  17. I went to several panels at PRGE this year and I can this was by far the most enjoyable for me. Nice work putting this together @Archon 1981. It was a pleasure getting to meet you.
  18. Thank you for sharing this! You don't happen to have or have seen literature that contained POP for Sega? Signs, banners, standees, etc. I have yet to see anything. Nintendo's stuff is largely available but Sega has been impossible.
