I checked in on the current bids yesterday. Always curious to see where the SE finishes. Last one on Clink hit 15K. Last I looked the current one was hovering around 8K.

I have to hand it to him though. He has milked that console for one hell of a ride across the world showing it off and letting people see it.

I think he was totally uncomfortable with having it set up there. I clearly had no idea how important this thing was he made me feel like. I tried to have a conversation with him but he continued to talk down on me irately. lol.

Had the funniest interaction with the owner of this thing at Midwest Gaming Classic this year. He had it on display and letting people play it at the official after party at the hotel. Had it sitting in a high traffic area where people were going to and from the bar to get drinks. People were partying etc and bringing their drinks around it. I pick up the controller to play and go to reset the system and he went ape shit on me. "Do you know what that is!!!!" and so on. Bit my damn head off. lol. If I had a piece of historical hardware I thought was worth a million dollars that would be the last place I would have it on display. It was pretty much a rave environment. haha @Foochie776 was there with me I believe and so was @K.Thrower.

Wrapping my Nieces present for her Birthday party today. She wanted Luigis Mansion 3 and I really need to get rid of some boxes and bubble wrap. So 4 boxes. Ziplock bags. Shredded paper and fun it is!

Thank you. The shelves came from a pickup awhile back where the guy had them in his basement originally made for displaying baseball cards. They had hinged plexi front doors that I removed. Got 4 of them in total. He just gave them to me.

Recent project was revamping a corner downstairs. Alot of days I just pull a GB cart and have title music just playing in the background. This morning is Star wars. Recently found a nice 3 piece Sony speaker system for $7 at the thrift store to go with the PVM Super Gameboy setup. Adding the LED strip to the wooden closet pole I found in the storage room worked well to light the GB collection. Liked how it all turned out.

Creating this thread to post things I am working on or just to share things in my collection. Mainly for posterity. Running around the basement with a tape measure this morning with some creative juices flowing so thats good. (Cold brew coffee has a kick). Have a sign I need to get put up and backlit.

We had a baseball card shop down the street from me a guy ran out his garage which we all know was rampant and awesome in the 90's. This show I watched recently on Netflix was pretty awesome that focused how the Griffey Jr. Upper Deck rookie blew the scene wide open. https://www.netflix.com/title/81151313 It was confirmed Upper Deck reprinted the card later like printing money. A guy in the show has the original Griffey picture they took for the card. I proudly display my PSA Graded Griffey Jr. rookie with my game collection.

I get yah. Sorry. One thing I am pretty certain about (99.999%) is nobody from Wata will ever speak on any of this. So it is all up to our interpretation. One thing I do know for sure is we aren't stupid. It is what is and I really don't have any strong emotions over it. I just find the topic interesting to discuss.

Meant to quote this one. Wata was initially 1 up Grading company as you can see by prior filings, but it from I know there was a falling out. Obviously.
