  1. CCR is amazing on GBA all they popped into that one, and even as wonky as the odd setup was that Sega Rally did it was good and I hate that I let go of it many years ago (kind of backed into it) because now the price is disgusting and I can't even rationalize why.

added even more stuff/removed some too
  3. Honestly don't get the preference, I'm fine either way outside of the arcade. There though, I don't think I've really used a machine with a convex button other than some of those ticket games so I never thought of it, but largely in the US they're concave. Going to go with the smurfs answer -- all hail the SNES as it did both.
  4. Controller, rarely unless it's some very specific type of game where super fast finger tip tapping would work, but that's rare. Arcade though, I found over the years if I got going for awhile on something the arms can get a bit tired if its repetitive and fast enough, so I got myself where I can play with my wrists crossed using the opposite as intended hands to play on the buttons vs joystick. That has some advantages. Oh and when I was a kid to add challenge to an old NES game I got very good at, I'd pop out the NES advantage and try and play using my toes which at times was pretty fun.
  5. Yeah the couple tip areas, the fun art and letters, random articles or technology bits like the issue that covered the Mmc chips etc. Various years with the comics and other fluff. They largely did a really good job. The game guides were so detailed you felt like you eyeballed the game out back then too which was nice.
  6. That’s guaranteed. Both as this group has largely matured from that behavior which NA was plagued with, and just so it’s clear I’m not just shitposting to boast over a threat. I know it would be enjoyed
  7. If anything he made the case of putting him out of his misery would be a service. Mind is damaged body ruined by drugs before being a teenager etc. There’s nothing in value there that can be recovered…other than the money wasted on his daily housing in jail.
  8. Well a prank worthy comment to infuriate the gf/wife before explaining. Hey honey I got head at work today.
  9. Sweet thanks Had just over 1100 so now I’ve got the appropriate as it is Tom Nook heading this way. A new little desk buddy.
  10. I felt the same when I bagged like 40 issues locally a couple years back for a dollar a piece and shortly after another 30 or so for 100 online which had the first couple years in it and one was damaged but intact. They’re so fun to read and get when it’s not toxic priced. It’s just another era as they’re like strategy guides as much as a magazine.
  11. That’s an amazing movie and could not have done a better honor to Harold Ramis or the others. Totally classy send off.
  12. Furthest I ever went down that rabbit hole was naming my first cat Luna after the kitty in sailor moon. Not that it’s a strange name for a cat though.
  13. Well that post largely confused me until I realized it was a flock of dbag losers and their unhinged ramblings. Bottom boy investors like that both from the rants to their daily antics are why I have never sold off that sealed game I have and largely keep considering the reality of just cracking it open on camera and shoving it on YouTube to watch them lose their minds. I’d feed off that grief in that moment in time as some fun depraved nectar of revenge. Going into it knowing what’s coming would at least prep you to ignore or toy with a few random entitled psychos. Hell maybe cobble those into a follow up video with nothing identity wise redacted.
  14. It’s a part but I never went broadcasting it around either. Even when I worked in office over a dozen years ago I had a little art of this or that I’d print off but gaming wasn’t front and center. yet for those who know me know I’ve kept stuff for decades and use it still so it just depends who I let in or not.
  15. Umm I know my post was wordy. But that last paragraph said both what you all said specifically. I am VERY tempted to do this with Pokémon red version. I have it sealed in a shadow box. I could use the HD capable iPhone 13 here and make some people lose their shit. I bought it for $100 in 2019. I would feel no shame or loss. Less burden is all because I’d never feel comfortable selling it due to how people are now. And I’d only take cash if I did which would be tricky too. it’s stored right now would have to dig it out over the weekend or so.
  16. That’s the awesome port to 3ds of the sequel to the neo geo classic andro dunos. It looks like it well honors the mixed heritage style of the first.
  17. I doubt I have anything grail level but I have a few things worth over a grand, one probably around 5x that or more given the stupidity of pokemon buttboy behavior over sealed goods. In the case of those 3 things that come to mind, they're shelved and displayed. I couldn't afford any of them again, wouldn't want to buy them again, and I'd rather appreciate them for what they are. If I were put in a spot I had to sell them, I'd take care of the issue with the funds, and what remains would go to fund my interests off budget as a slush fund to keep my sanity. Quite honestly my disgust level is pretty high these days over where prices have gone largely due to a mix of the manipulative potentially gray area/illegal crap Halperin pulled with wata/heritage. And then the trickle down expansive exploitation it has caused down to the beater copies of game and gaming paraphernalia etc these days right to the lowest rung crap like used food boxes and paper cut out of a magazine that's framed. I've been VERY and repeatedly tempted on HD camera to slice open that pokemon red version box for the world to enjoy. A mix of missing the fact I could open up a new gameboy game enjoying untouched goods, the buzzy smell of the cardboard paper and plastic mix encased for so long - and the sadist knowledge I'd really cause some problem child of our hobby to have a potential stroke from it. From there that otherwise untouched but now once item would return to its shadowbox to continue being visually enjoyed on display..
  18. If only that was the Switch release of the 1st one.
  19. I don't think in the slightest that it's worthy of an image, but worth mentioning. Over the weekend went to that pawn/consignment near by where I'm friendly with the owner. He had got some new stuff to put out, a few nicer titles (all SNES stuff) I had, but he did have 3 games of interest. I had a couple GB games he gave me 60% value on I was looking to trade out so it worked well. Ended up with 3 SNES games, clean sticker/rest all around I didn't have. Akranoid, Top Gear 2, and Uniracers. I think it was a smart move.
  20. Well said. Also look at the budget that went into space during the race to the moon. It was just 2.2% of the federal budget from around 1960-72, now look at the budget...gets into fractions of a single percent. Even what private is doing now scaled to inflation isn't as bad...yet it's easy to point fingers. Private people can do private things. What little the govt puts into space now has been buried under self inflicted debt and mismanaged entitlements, pork, and other waste that could be used to better peoples situations and isn't. That's far more reckless.
  21. Laughable isn't it? No split, and taking 10-20% off vgpc which basically means buy it all so I don't pay the ebay fees. Great model, but in the end it's his choice ultimately to let it sit here until it gets boring and ends up pulled. This isn't a site for paying full price minus fees in bulk for resale, nor are people here new gamers/collectors needing to fill massive holes like that. A split, even just a few games out then making more fair sized bundles of the rest would work better as a compromise from all or nothing.
  22. I have it, pathetic amount of hours I would imagine on it compared to most. I'm at 3star or just a few (10-50) points short of that. I think my dex has around 50 captured, which isn't bad. I've not jumped to the next area yet still kind of exploring and messing around as I had those 2 god like semi-local legends where I dealt with, helped them, and the first lets me use it for rides. A few of the help tasks I have now are utterly confusing me, largely since I haven't resorted to a faq but probably will eventually not to waste time...like the kids and driftloon one as they both never show up at the beach. I wish I could get that rapidash that's enraged, but it's lv40 and my best is in the 30s.
  23. I preferred largely the shitty SNES version, because neutering the gore aside into Immortal Kombat, didn't take away from the fact the core mechanics with the control, audio, and visual were the most intact of the home versions on that Mortal Monday. @JamesRobot Sorry to hear your parents were the media brainwashable suck ups of the era. I was 16 (1993) by when that game came out and I had parents who trusted me enough for some time already not to watch anything that was to give me nightmares. They never fell into the lies of the era, probably the shit they had to deal with bible thump human garbage calling rock n roll satans jams, so it made sense it was crap. I had Doom, I had Wolfenstein before that on PC too, this wasn't anything persay worse, and it clearly was over the top for face value awfulness. I'm sure the black 'blood' on gameboy wasn't much of an issue and the sweat of the other despite some obviously nasty kills still in there just wasn't enough to make issue about it. These days I don't have the SNES game, but I could do it with the sd2snes, and I did a couple years back get a nice deal on the late MK1+2 combo cart for GB so there's that too. MK2 was an amazing improvement, high point of GB MK games across the board.
  24. Earthbound doesn't have a manual, just the packed in official player's guide. You'll need the game, guide, unmarked white cardboard tray, and the box. You do have a few odds and ends inserts, but they're really just nitpicks at that point.
  25. Other than it will take a little bit longer than in the 48 and maybe a little more money too especially non-priority since it's flat rate again due to distance. That's it. Anyone who says they won't and has some weak excuse are liars or misinformed. I've shipped enough times to them over the years before I quit ebay sales this year. Priority mail usually took a day longer, maybe 1-3 more for parcel, first class, etc style that's slower. The non-priority since there's that asinine zone shipping in recent years adds more price to that extreme distance. I've seen the same loathsome behavior about puerto rico too which is equally bs, but maybe easier to confuse people because it's a territory and not a state. Mail wise, it doesn't matter, same little more money and time involved with HI/AK but that's it.
