  1. NYCs correct response would be to install Poopurri dispensers on the walls of every subway car and around the stations. Problem solved.
  2. I like that bone they threw there with the missions/rewards. I also got my tom nook keychain in the mail the other day, it's quite nice in hand as it's very nicely detailed.
  3. @MiamiSlice https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fantasy-life-online/id1568985853
  4. Not a surprise, but hey interestingly enough since that's being used as an example. Did you know it got a re-release/expansion of design of sorts for it and released to mobile devices? I grabbed it on a preorder and played it for like a month. I only stopped because i couldn't get enough time to invest in that around 2-3 other phone games I have as it is now. It's amazing on mobile, all what the 3DS version had and then some done in a non-exploitative/whaling cringe style game.

Anyone interested? I don't want to pop over the $600 cap but willing to do limited selling.
  6. I'm being fueled by the luck or owner care to listen o Prince Noodles Oodles! The shop a mile from here is carrying the big bags and I grabbed 3! I get it, you find something good, you go for it. In the end that 3% slide will be worth it. Go go go. I know you're a capable writer.
  7. Yeah that's about it. Go grab a old blackbox game and they're all world releases if I remember. All you do is change the non-chip side stuff to fit the region, and you're done, as the game itself just needed one copy which is pretty easy.
  8. Seems to me if you're buying games that are new, and I mean retail new, not 30 year old new and this makes you uneasy or feeling sick, you have some serious mental health issues that need to be addressed. It really is that simple. if someone gets offended by that being said, perhaps it's time to reflect on that a bit more and ask why you're getting offended and if that's normal.
  9. Haha Emperor Putputine now that's funny. Seriously though good, no, great on the EU for looking to do just that. Add Ukraine to the actual EU bloc, that'll really ratchet things up because they you have mutual defense there, and I don't think Russia really wants to have to deal with the EU on the whole over that bit of land...or maybe crazy enough he would? I think NATO should just stop the knuckle dragging cowardice and just finally approve their application for inclusion. Every other russian border country outside of Belarus who went puppet has. That should put a stop to it either way because then there would be treaty backed allies that would have to do more than send cash and condolences. Look to be clear i don't want a war, but Putin started it and he needs to be stopped as he keeps taking more and more. I've followed history most my life, some parts I find more interesting than others to keep up on, WW2 would be the most recent of history I cared much to take an interest in. I think this image that Putin got trolled with the other day speaks volumes. Oh and this was posted by the Ukranian gov't on one of their social media accounts and it fits.
  10. @MegaMan52 That MK movie is largely good, and definitely is nothing near the level of turd that annihilation was. The first watch you'll actually be convinced perhaps that someone or something is one thing, but ends up being not and yeah that writes badly but it's being vague. Just sit down and enjoy it, it's quite good. I caught it on HBO max when they aired it side by side with the theater and it sucked me in. I think cheese loaded as it is though, I still like the #1 boxoffice release of the original.
  11. Finished? They've always been finished. They've just not been finished enough for lifelong fans who forget it's a childs game and not catering to them as their key demographic. They've been finished, because they largely follow the same boring as hell overly played and stretched out format largely where you have a thin story, eight gyms, eight badges, and the final fight(s) around also picking off a legendary or so. If anything they're consistent to a toxic stupid level where they're so damn afraid to leave their safe space most releases because it works. They can always every few years pander to a new set of pre-teen kids, and if the older ones stick around, great, if not... they're replaced by the millions so who cares. That's why Sun/Moon were just epic, they did something new that made the game wonderful once more. Islands, no asinine wash rinse repeat of the gym-trainer-badges by 8s crap. They not only crafted a story, but one that isn't thin, and has many layers of substories that actually make you want to keep playing to see what it's all about. They put a lot of work, depth and original thinking... then release the Switch turd and regress back to the DS era with that mess. Arceus Legends was well a legend in doing what it did. Wide open areas, dumped the badges, let you explore fresh areas, create a pokedex vs filling it, crafting of useful tools and remedies, and a very solid story that spreads and grows as you dig deeper into it. And now... Scarlet/Violet again looks to be regressing back to their safe space again to pander yet another re-run, though at least taking some of what Arceus had with the open living spaces between towns at least, but how much more? For now, I couldn't be paid to play it, but give it a year...maybe? I doubt it, but maybe, as I"m sure my kid will get sucked in as she's 10 (11 by then) and prime market for it as she's not burned out on the same format since the 1990s.
  12. Oh trust me I agree with you entirely. They have been playing this deranged media and chess game of theirs since they made a puppet out of Belarus, then laid waste and stole lands from Georgia years ago. Ukraine was just next on the map and being far more formidable and far larger in size of land, infrastructure, and population they've done the chip game stealing this, moving russians in to turn that with the Crimea, then years later here again too repeating it once more. This time it appears he wants the whole thing as a vassal puppet state or gobbled land. I don't want to see a shooting war, but come on...it's Putin, he's not going to stop unless forced as he's playing the Hitler playbook of propaganda, government overturn, and swiping lands because they other side are being too pussy about it to stop it thinking he'll just quit. The wizard there said it best. Ultimately this going to come to the fall of Ukraine or NATO troops helping out on the ground, boots, arms, hardware, mechanized equipment, airpower, and a classic Iraq style no fly zone with shoot downs. Putin's own personality and cult type base into his crap will never bend a knee on this, never back down, unless he comes out in some manner on top. And with him LYING his ass off saying Ukraine are the nazis, are committing genocide, are lying about the truth, are picking the fight, etc...how do you back off that short of laying the capital and their government to waste? You really don't, unless he somehow gets backed into a corner where quitting is the lesser or two shames, that or it's a ground and air war against Russia.
  13. That one isn't a game I can see buying, ever. Even as light as the tease was you could see it's a return to the very very boring, repetitive and 25 years on played out classic form of the boring wash rinse and repeat gym battle round about. Short of being guilted into it to play with my kid, it's not happening. Arceus did so much new and right in changing that tired setup (as did Ultra Sun/Moon) I can appreciate and enjoy those thoroughly, but this...?
  14. I think it's perverse using a word like enjoy, but maybe fitting is better? But last I checked those arrogant russians thought they'd roll the country over, and instead have been held back, hard, in various cities and paying a nasty price of like 10 to 1 in casualties among those fighting. They need to be bled out financially and physically for this disgusting act. I really wish people in the immediate would do far more to help this country out as what's going on just isn't right. It's a sovereign country that has a right as such to determine its future. Future alliances, future treaties, future form of government and who leads it. Putin hates this, hates all his little former satellites going 180 rogue on mother russia. Every few years he pokes a stick taking more and more land back by puppet government (Belarus) or stealing it by making false bullshit claims to rile up his population when it came to Georgia, then Ukraine's Crimea, and now this. The utter gaul of this ex-kgb fuck saying that Ukraine is at fault...that they're actual nazis, that they're doing genocide on their own people(the 2 disputed areas russia has been seeding with friendlies) it's garbage. Utter garbage. Love or hate the ex president, but I think had he been in office Putin wouldn't have tried this shit right now. Trump had people in these hotspots questioning things, worrying, and not sure what a bully would do it a bully waiting for the next weak link in the chain to roll over with big words and soft action. Hopefully cutting access to SWIFT. Taking billions in assets and cash and ceasing it outright. Slashing out at Putins oligarchs and taking their property and ability to bank, it's all good. Feed the Ukrainians as much aid, cash, actual hardware to use over the border in mass. Russia needs to pay and hard, need to realize they can't just pull some nazi party 1930s the sequel shit and get away with it. That is what they're doing, trying to gobble areas and puppet some governments just as they did in the 1930s in Germany. And just like the 1930s the europeans are saying he wouldn't, and he did, they're acting surprised when they shouldn't, thinking it was talk and not action, hoping the next chunk of land will appease the dictator as what happened back then too. When is enough enough? Clearly despite the fact the russians supposedly have the 2nd best global military they're getting fairly spanked. Shows how far their hardware, their training, their lack of actual real world activities for years has chipped away at their capabilities and that's a good thing.
  15. If things haven't changed since the 1980s and 90s ROMs, some games have so little language or none, that they can just release one copy of the game and just package it on the paper side of things in multiple languages while still using on the interior the same title. Old black box NES games were largely world games because outside of the title and like player, hi score, etc there were little to no words. Often they'd all just be in english in any region, so you'd just have a world release, not a J, US, EU, ES(panish), G(erman), I(talian), etc copies.
  16. That's just disgusting, ivan there needs to pull a crazy ivan then sink himself in the deepest part of the ocean if that's his concern serious or joking, doesn't matter.
  17. No, at least not yet. The problem here is a pattern that Putin has put in place and his own words too. He wants a soft restoration of the old satellite states of the old soviet union, a barrier from Europe/NATO. He got increasingly pissed when one after another become democracies and further entered NATO. He eventually got sneaky and put a pro-Putin puppet government into Belarus. From there stole Crimea eight years ago, made threats ever since, and when it looked maybe like Ukraine may enter NATO he gets pissy making threats about NATO hardware, people keeping an eye on them (as if not already), and then rolls into the country after setting off some crap in the east, but instead wide spread airstrikes the cities of the country. He's pretty clear he's saying one thing, doing another. Claiming the Ukraine is a regime, illegitimately elected, non democratic(as if his nation is) and the works. And what good are sanctions going to do? The losses they're absorbing they knew would come and for years have made themselves more and more self sufficient, and then now they have China taking the wheat that europe would have to cover some more losses too. And this is while China is bootlicking them as well not taking sides but are, with them. It's not pretty. What if(when) Ukraine falls, then what? If something physically isn't done he can pull a Nazi Germany 1930s 2.0 stunt and just go after the next satellite nation as they'll be easier picking compared. And what of China? If they think that NATO and the US will just be pussies with sanctions and sabre rattling, I could see those arrogant aggressive shitheels take a shot at Taiwan. THAT if anything would set off WW3. Way too much of the west invested that COUNTRY, not a rogue island those clowns call it given it was established pre-CCP china when it was a democracy too.

I've added Switch, NES(4), SNES(1), DS(3), GB through GBA (over a dozen), 2 fire emblem games in that with official guides, Nintendo Switch games, and some gb and other boot/multicarts.
  19. So hit the half price on the way to get the kiddo from school. Jaw dropped when I saw this one. Originally the yellow sticker was below but I had already taken care of it. $5 as-is? Battery dead you say? Funny I have spare batteries, and now I have a $5 as IT is working game.
  20. I can relate... I've done this largely for the last 10 years since stuff started to slide down hill. One of the longest standing holds was my $2 flea market Earthbound which I got the guide being near perfect minus the one mail off card for $60. Why I keep them...because the price, not because they're excellent. In more recent times in 2019 I nabbed for $80(even a deal then) Bomberman 2nd Attack N64 because it was steadily rolling around the $200-300 mark, it's still pushing the $300 mark. It's the 2nd time I've had it, refuse ot part with it only because again the obscenely hard time to get one where it's not a price problem (and it is good too.) I've got a history of picking up stuff because it was a wow moment, some got held because of the savings and potential to use, others got used. I've learned when I was dumpin stuff to break even or make a little, be damn sure you don't want it back or you'll get baked. I could easily dump EB or BM2A, but then I'd be without, for good, despite the feel of really not caring.
  21. And the bad ones wrap around to probably most interests. The wife is into those diamond art club series spreads where you get this smaller to rather sizable sheets that you adhere dozens, maybe even a 100 different colored very tiny gems to them much like pixel art. The diamond company allows a few makers to license or sublicense out art and all that, and of course you have the unlicensed stuff too (sounds like games too eh...) Anyway often stuff stops being sold, artist had enough, miscommunication, maybe a few limited runs(not common) and when they normally sell for like $50-80 for a kit in the 1.5ft x2ft to 2.5ft to 4ft sizes it's fair. Once one goes out and they hit the second hand market, they'll shoot up like 3-4x the price or worse even 10x depending. Same scum, another interest. The racket doesn't change, just the victim pool.
  22. CCR is amazing on GBA all they popped into that one, and even as wonky as the odd setup was that Sega Rally did it was good and I hate that I let go of it many years ago (kind of backed into it) because now the price is disgusting and I can't even rationalize why.
