@Reed Rothchild It's done, I grabbed it with Chrono Cross on play-asia. They seem to come out a few days apart a month from now so that'll do. It's in english so I'll be good, not like I'm collecting stuff for annoying ESRB labels.

I just ordered the physical release of this on PlayAsia, when it arrives in over a month, maybe if someone dusts this off after I'll vote. Been curious about this, but also the SFC Radical Dreamers so it'll be a good fresh thing to attempt.

True, I had an order with them a time ago, but found the english was a download you can't get (UGH) for Fatal Frame. From what I see New P&R is not physical here, so it's safe, and even if it were the price would be the same looking at that too. I've been lazy on Natsume stuff, still lack Wild Guns and Ninja Saviors. It's like the trinity of SNES Natsume remasters.

Do we know by the way if Klonoa and Pocky & Rocky are getting physical US releases? I may just double/triple dip on those while already ordering from playasia.

I wonder if that'll get a legit US release, or just give up because SquareEnix is full of it and order now. That should be the same price here anyway.

I've done that, it's a smart move. I just was surprised at the bulk over time. You're making me struggle not re-attaining my old SFC collection but the prices suck and suck bad, notably over what pretty/pristine CIB stuff was just a decade earlier. I got curious and looked up Macross on SFC, $80 these days... I paid that for a complete one almost. I kind of fear looking up Cotton, Sailor Moon+R+S/SS fighters, Zenki, Popn(and not) Twinbee+Rainbow Bell Adventure, Parodius, Goemon 2, various others. I could easily see this topping 1K within no time if my fears are founded.

I can't speak for elsewhere, but around here I don't see them much anymore in large numbers. As dark pointed out, things gone political with it. Usually you find those wearing them around here now are the more elderly, obviously have some health issue, and then largely the few others seem to be those doing it along those lines of politics(either for them, or because they scared them into it or a sense of justice, whatever the case). More and more stores, national chains, they're all dropping any of it, some even the plastic walls at counters too. At this rate in this area it's more or less just over, you can choose to cover up and that's about it, but it's not to the point you get an odd glance for it yet, outside of retail shop people still seemingly wearing them more than not at least at the registers. And yes I would imagine if they dared try and force people backwards into wearing them in public, shielding off counters and the rest, people would riot and I can't say I'd blame anyone for getting that pissed off either. What's done is done, had ti been handled well a couple years ago now in the first place and stayed all science and not gone all political, targeting some over others, do as I say not as I do type antics, then no no rioting. People are just largely over it, didn't care at first, or grew to consider it an acceptable risk. Personally that's where I am, I'm done with it, it's a risk I'm willing to accept. I still sanitize more than before all the same, but no more covers, and in the rare case I find a store that requires it, I leave as it's not like whatever is there is life or death.

I feel the same, I like these little famicom popups. I have that kira kira star fx game for FC. But when you start playing scared politics angles afraid of setting off someone looking to be offended, I'll lose interest. There's artistic license, then there's just book burning level stupidity.

Sealed is just playing with fire now, and those who want to play with matches which is even more dangerous. CIB is nice, but boxes have been a huge hindrance that has grown for some years now, me... game is fine, but if I can get the manual and it's not a problem I'm all over that. Sometimes, and you know it, they're fun reads, especially the 8/16bit era cheese in those books. Fun flashbacks and stupid stuff to be found with a laugh.

@Galdius Your SFC image both makes me happy and equally sad. I used to have a collection largely that size or so, all CIB too, quite a few in that image I did cherish so and I miss them. I'd love to have them again but the prices on SFC stuff got stupid back when SNES stuff started to get a raging boner in 2012-2013 because they caught on to western shenanigans. I see a few nice Famicom things too. Do you actually use all these, collect, or trade, sell the stuff as you get a LOT in. Today I spent $25 at a dudes house, he had some nice arcade games in states of repair/disrepair though too. Mostly filler, but I was happy to get GB Alleyway, NES Tag Team Wrestling+Captain Skyhawk w/manual+Double Dribble and an OEM SNES controller too.

Notice the amount of generals dying is really starting to creep up there. I think Putin really is like the president-dictator resurrection of Stalin in a lot of ways. He didn't care about who was competent, just whoever kissed his/party ass the best. Yes men before men who provide solutions. It's a good thing, because unlike Stalin Putin doesn't have a meat grinder into the 10s of millions to throw in the face of Ukraine and the west. Just think if his strategies were sound and had quality generals who don't line up like carnival pop targets.

Never played it either, but as it looks like a physical Switch release is upcoming like Live-A-Live is getting I probably will give it a try at that time.

That would be sort of ideal, not sure Ukraine would want to lose another chunk of land to those assholes though. I mean when is enough too much? The losses to them aside, it is amusing to see how much the russians are just getting wrecked given their so called superiority. Superpower of the last century they most definitely are not anymore if Ukraine can make them look ridiculous.

Not bad, it's the newest version of the everdrive gb they've ripped off and put the better firmware on it, solid price at $30. And phart's right, got to get a little creative with the naming but you can find things. Sometimes an occasional multicart is fun, but usually it's the more period stuff from like 20 years plus ago that's more amusing. That one item I tried out on shipped fairly quick, and given I have a nomad I decided to try one more seller to see if they react any differently on a solid genesis cart.

I got Kirby in the mail today too, last birthday gift from my mom, belated but known since a couple weeks back. I intend to crack into it tomorrow, just too tired to bother tonight.

I've heard of that, it's a bit on the high side of price. I had a friend hook me up with an old NA/racketboy member who oddly can't remember their old user name but he's in TN and said he could fix it. He has LCD composite on hand, a glass lens replacement, perform a recap, can mod it to handle SMS games (I have a mega everdrive) too. I'm looking to try this method and see how it works out since it should only be 80 out of pocket plus shipping both ways too. Can't believe the stupid panel just collapsed like that so fast. It had been doing a random flicker but it just utterly choked while I was trying out Ys III. You saw my what's new posts I don't make as frequent as I did in past years, a good nice selection of genesis gems and I get shut out.

Last year I ended up getting a Nomad as a trade for some Disney stuff, anyway...little did I know it wasn't stock. There was a decade plus old mod in there, a chop shop job of sorts with a few ribbon cables, at least 4 wires or so, and a transplanted car DVD player panel in there with a mix of a few double face tape thin strips and a lot of hot glue. It has been flickering a bit lately, it went out. Then when I opened it to finally take a peek to see if the cable went, the speaker was so poorly resoldered it pulled up the damned pad! The unit works, as a TV based genesis...if I wanted that, I'd have bought that. So does anyone here do work or know someone reliable and quicker who can clean out this crap job, put a proper new LCD in there and clean up the mess? OR...am I were it's more economical to bite the bullet and just get another pre-modded online? If so, anyone want a blind and mute Nomad that works as a TV based genesis?

I've never had luck without getting specific, at least when looking for screwball famicom etc type stuff. There are so many vendors with the same item and they vary the title just enough it throws the entire thing into a mess.

I recently got comments in email from them about closing dates for shipping that have come and gone for 2 backlogged items of mine, one being that NGPC kit, but nothing further still about shipping. The other was Strife back in late Feb but now the page shows they won't even ship until Q2 so that did a whole lot of good.

@Dr. Morbis Probably so. When I said that I was thinking of then, not now, as that's how I felt 25 years ago too. I just hated the removal of what felt like an obvious move needed for a 3D space. Mario 64 with a sword wouldn't have been a bad thing, but a bit hard to draw that conclusion since it was a progressively large world, not some bit sized floating squares with mini objectives on the terrain. But at the same time, the media trolls and post-16bit fanboy console wars warriors would have had a field day making ignorant statements too.

Andro Dunos is under the radar, it is an older earlier Neo Geo MVS/AES release -- a shooter that has a blend of Gradius/R-Type mechanics. It's very fun... Ill end up picking up the sequel, just not sure which format yet and given all the delays not in a hurry. My suggestion would be to just look at a few dedicated neo geo sites that do reviews and descriptions of the game like neo geo kult or something to get a feel for it.... and a youtube playthrough.

I half do, as if I hadn't called it Majora's Mistake enough times over the last 20 years -- screw that terrible game at so many levels. I still think one of the biggest foul ups on both, no jumping. I mean I kind of get why at face value, but I wonder if they just weren't also smart enough to make a good jump+camera mechanic so they locked it. It felt like a bad bionic commando nightmare at points where link couldn't walk over a rock like Super Joe, but could grab arm/hook shot though which at moments was utterly maddening.

I most definitely enjoyed this game last I had it, wish I could find it again...prices... One thing for sure I had both for a time decade ago and it always surprised me that while the SNES had the better audio/visuals, it like Ninja Gaiden Trilogy wasn't by much, and beyond that, unlike NGT it was inferior. The NES game just had better gameplay, better stage design, as was pointed out had more sfx and bits that oddly the SNES (rushed port?) had cut out. I dunked the SNES game back into the wild and retained the NES one and never regretted that choice, and honestly I do prefer it over the original battle toads. I could beat both years ago, but BT is more just aggravating, largely the tunnels more than any other part.
