**SPLAIN ALERT** Chameleon Twist 2 is complete. A little bit disappointed with this game to be honest. I like the first game, it has this early N64 charm and weirdness that holds a place in my heart. I was expecting a lot more out of this game, by comparison, but they really didn't push it any further at all, very similar to the first game, but just not as interesting or well designed. It's a real shame, because I do like the first one a lot, but this just isn't good enough imo.

Surprisingly tough game, especially the later courses and in the higher speed classes!

Yeah, I can also easily see Switch hitting the 100 million mark at this point, it's just so versatile and the games library is possibly the best Nintendo have ever had. Great indy and 3rd party support too, just ticks all the boxes this time round! Sure, I agree with you to a point. But that doesn't mean it should do double the numbers. Think about it, how many people owned a Wii AND a DS... like pretty much everyone, right? That's two sales right there, whereas Switch you only have ONE sale and it covers both handheld and console. So covering two markets consolidates the sales figures, it doesn't actually double them. Having said that, I can certainly imagine multiple Switch households, what with kids having their own ones each, certainly the portable Switch lite model. So it may end up doing DS numbers rather than Wii numbers, but I doubt it will do DS + Wii numbers unless shit goes absolutely bananas!

My aunt died of breast cancer last year, and I've got an uncle with prostate cancer dying right now. I flew out to my aunt's funeral back home in the UK, but I doubt I'll get the chance to do the same for my uncle, which is a shame obviously. Yeah so dying sucks, I reckon, and cancer is pretty rough. I guess they're gonna have that fixed soon tho, right? Cure cancer? Hope so, sounds like something we aught to do.

I believe it's an extensive fanfic archive, hosted by some sort of collecting website for some reason. I read through a few of the stories in the archive, but didn't get very far... Some of the characters seemed a little farfetched, especially this "Andy" character! You mean he goes through all that and walks away unscathed? What a Mary Sue!

Because 50 percent of threads made on the old site in the past couple years were basically nothing but this. I actually think it's a great idea to condense the discussion into a single place, so that we can talk about it here without filling up the rest of the forum with speculation chat. If protos don't have their own subforum, is there somewhere else that it might be appropriate to talk about them? I never used to visit the proto subforum on the old site, so I'm not sure how busy it was...

I didn't say I would be contributing to that drama. I have already logged out of NA for one week, and vowed to keep it that way. But, there's no cost to me and no harm to anyone else if I go back and lurk and lol it up a little bit!

Apparently anything posted from yesterday onwards will not be included in the migration of NA to their "state-of-the-art" new site. Very interested to see what comes up in NA's place, and to read through the inevitable hilarious drama that ensues!
