This was a tragedy, but I think there are more important things going on in the world. This is just a distraction from those things. It's easy for the media to latch onto because it's dramatic.

If people would just spell the English pronunciations properly instead of butchering the language every time they introduce a foreign word, we wouldn't have these problems.

Thoughts on a protective laminate for N64 labels

I always write my name on the labels with a permanent marker so I'll know it's mine no matter how bad the label gets. -
7/10 Its an OK puzzle game, but no where near as good as Wario's Woods.

@Tanooki Nice work! You were right. I did mean pin 26, but it looks like you figured it out. I was counting from the wrong direction. I've heard finger nail polish works as a good solder mask. You don't have to be a technical whizz to fix stuff. Most of the stuff I fix, I figure it out with just a visual inspection.

The trace for pin 71 looks kind of funky. Pin 24 trace looks like it might have a bad spot on it too, but other than that, I don't really see anything.

Game Debate #152: The Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask

To me the mask gimmick was more tiring than the time gimmick. I didn't really like playing as fish man, rock man, or wood boy. Oot at least starting getting really fun after the water dungeon. I played the crap out of it when it came out, but haven't really touched it in about 20 years. -
You should try to get outside more and get some exercise. Just going for a walk will help you feel better.

It was apparently something Sony developed for creating 3D effects for film. The point I was trying to make was the technology they used in the Playstations graphic engine was fairly mature. I learned about it in this video.

I would say all the way back before the NES. It was the philosophy of Gunpei Yokoi that the entire company ultimately adopted. He called it "Lateral thinking with withered technology". The basic idea is to take a cheap, mature and well known piece of tech and adapt it to new ideas. Ironically I think the Playstation followed this paradigm more than Nintendo did with the N64. The tech used in the PSX had been developed by Sony back in the mid 80's.

In terms of gameplay, I think it pretty much does what you set out for it to do. The only thing I could think to add to this design would be some foods that change randomly and offer a bonus if you eat them.
