  1. I have Okami HD on PS4 but like several of you, I've never gotten around to playing this game (on any console). This thread has reminded me to fix that and I plan to dig into it soon as I work through my backlog of games.
  2. This whole scenario honestly makes no sense to me. Can you give us an idea of how big your collection is? Are we talking 500 games or 5000?
  3. I can't believe any of you would give Silly Bitchell the benefit of the doubt. He cheated and it was extensively proven. He lied and continues to gaslight us about it, and now is doubling down on his lies because that's the small-minded, pathetic type of man he is. I don't deny that he has talent, but this whole charade is laughable.
  4. A hearty "meh" from me. No hate for them, but nothing special either. I love those mullets though.
  5. Happy to see SMB and SM64 mentioned, as well as Fallout 3. All come really close to getting my vote, but I'll go with the first one that came to my mind: Phantasy Star II on Genesis. It was light years ahead of everything out at the time and remains one of my favorite games to this day.
  6. 9 for me. Have to save my 10's for true perfection like Super Mario 64. I think Galaxy 2 is even better than the original (probably a 9.5) and that Super Mario 3D World (9.75) is even better than those.
  7. You should start off with the simpler classics like BurgerTime or Ms. Pac-Man, or maybe they could easily get into a game like Anticipation. My stepson really loved Bump n' Jump when he was that age.

    SOLD

Sent you a pm but haven't received a reply yet
  9. Ah of course about the skins. I only glanced at the news when revealed. Rayman already has a wind-up smash move and would fit in beautifully, imo. Much more so than other characters like Bayonetta that seem shoehorned in. I mean, the more the merrier - no complaints there - but don’t skip the obvious! I hope N and Ubisoft work something out down the line. It'll be a wild day when we see a Sony character (never rule anything out) but Snake pretty much counts in my mind. Snake is heavily “PlayStation” to me even though like many of us I started with NES MG.
  10. Wouldn't it be more likely that Ender Pearls will factor into Enderman's moveset? (Edit: Did I misread that Zombie and Enderman will be DLC also?) I'm still waiting to see Rayman (and friends). He got my vote when Nintendo was taking suggestions, but at the time Ubisoft and Nintendo were not on good terms with the Wii U so it never happened. His inclusion seems like a no-brainer.
  11. I'm still sore about the time I brought $20 (at least, maybe 40) to the mall arcade, changed it all so that I had a giant pocketful of quarters, and planned to play Magician Lord to the end. After an eternity (ok maybe an hour or two) of feeding that MVS, the attendant came over to me and told me I would need to step away because other people wanted to play on it. What???? I'm a paying customer!! I was here first! I thought they WANTED us to keep putting quarters in. I thought the point was the BEAT the game!! So yea, I'm still butthurt lol. Other major quarter munchers: Smash TV and Gauntlet. Gauntlet is probably the worst offender of all time!
  12. Hi, I'm looking for a few US manuals to complete my copies. Please let me know if you have any orphaned manuals looking for a new home. Thanks! US Master System manuals Fantasy Zone US PS3 manuals R.U.S.E. US Wii manuals Academy of Champions Soccer US Neo Geo AES manuals Cyber-Lip Samurai Shodown Spinmaster US Emerson Arcadia 2001 Red Clash (box & manual) Spiders (box & manual)
  13. Are we talking about Steve? from Minecraft?
  14. Very cool, love your drawings @CasualCart! I think it would be fun to see these - not for any particular reason but they just seem like they would fun to draw: Chubby Cherub Kid Niki (or Little Ninja Brothers) Milon Athena Princess Tomato Kuros (Wizards & Warriors) Duke Togo (Golgo 13) Arthur (in his tighty whities)
  15. Dreamcast for me, followed closely by PS1 and Gamecube. Miss those days.
  16. Too many to list just for NES alone. Dumb titles were all the rage back then: Faxanadu Astayanax Xexyz (maybe this one is so bad it's good) Kickle Cubicle OK maybe these aren't "great" games but all above average imo. I would also throw Donkey Kong into the mix. I love the name now and can't imagine our universe without it, but Donkey Kong is a pretty silly name when you think about it.
  17. Great transaction with @dannygames . Thanks again!!
  18. One of my favorite Burton flicks. I read that Michael Keaton was originally going to be the Vegas-developer-guy, but instead Jack Nicholson took on the role in addition to the President. Keaton would have been incredible because he seems perfect for the part.
  19. Inverted y-axis is the "correct" way to play a FPS Everyone else who uses default y-axis settings is either a neophyte or came from PC/mouse. I kid (mostly) about inverted being correct, but consider the screen as your field of vision - when you want to look at the ceiling, you pull your head back which equates to pulling the thumbstick back (down).
  20. Played them all. Loved them all. Still own them all. Still play them all. So, pass for me.
  21. Very cool, I look forward to checking it out after I can home (and can listen). To avoid spoilers, I didn't scroll down far but from the tracks I did see, I can tell you've done some digging and picked some good ones. I know what I would pick as #1 (and probably #2 and #3 as well), but I'll stay quiet for now and see if we agree. Oh the suspense!
  22. Bumping this thread again to let everyone know Summer GDQ is ongoing right now through Sunday! All donations this time go to Doctors Without Borders. I'm particularly looking forward to DoDonPachi (on Saturday I think) which afaik will be on the 2nd time GDQ has approved a shmup in the lineup. Edit: There are actually 3 shmups on Saturday, DoDonPachi being the last of the 3. I just didn't recognize the first two (Touhou and Ketsui) when I first scanned the schedule. Should be great to see!
  23. Even though The Cure was my pick, I'm by no means their biggest fan and they can be hit or miss with me. I'm not completely familiar with a lot of their later work (after say, 2000 and beyond), but I treasure most of their earlier stuff. I did recently see a recent concert of theirs, and Robert Smith is still rocking the lipstick and wild hair except now he is 60 years old and fat. So that's kind of weird. I happy that he is still happy and making music though. @captmorgandrinker Shit, Mixed Up was the first "album" of their I heard and it's still my favorite. I guess you could call it a greatest hits remix album, and from my experience it's the one album that every Cure fan and non-fan seems to enjoy. There is a 3CD deluxe edition that came out a year or so ago, worth checking out
  24. I've only seen it once but would love to see it again. It's just so long! The physicist Kip Thorne was consulted for the movie which helps give it a scientific backbone.
