I didn't find out about NA going down until I was watching the World Series last night. Surprise, surprise, it was worse that I could have guessed. Got logged in on mobile this morning, can't find any of my PMs. I did find them on desktop, and it's an awful mess. I have no idea what the sort order is. I see some really old PMs first and a PM I got yesterday I couldn't find until like the 4th page. On the one hand, it's a shameful way for NA to be just vaporized like this. On the other hand, we now have a much nicer site with all the things we could have ever wanted. And of course most of the community coming over here is very encouraging too. I am a little bit sad, but I can't help but think this is a much better outcome in the long run.

That would be my grandfather's funeral almost a year ago. Almost died on his 75th birthday from congestive heart failure, yet pulled through and made it another 10 years after that. My grandma is still doing well, a lot better than I would have expected.

I'll go +1 for the dogbone, definitely my preferred controller. I can still rock a standard brick if need be, no problem. I haven't tried the power grips though I would definitely like to!

I would say that my preferences haven't changed, but my ability to play games to my preferences has definitely changed. Adulthood will do that to you!

This is a hard topic for me since I beat a lot of games, especially the ones I enjoy a lot! The one game that comes to mind is Air Fortress on NES. I have beaten the first four stages in that game I don't know how many times. Then Level 5 comes along and it is way harder and confusing than anything else up to that point. I did finally clear the level the last time I played and then stopped after a couple of attempts at Stage 6. But anyway, Air Fortress will eventually fall (hehe) and I look forward to when that day comes!

I really wanna try the chicken sandwich. Never been to Popeye's before, but there is one near me (and not too far from Chick-Fil-A!) If I end up getting one soon I'll report back!

I have no-deathed both games exactly once. Not together though! I could definitely do it though it would take a while...

It's funny how quickly things happen. Last week I was out of town on business and not really paying much attention to certain events that have occurred online. And all of a sudden, here's VGS! I may be late to the party, but at least I arrived! I'm still getting my bearings, but I'm pretty excited to figure out what all I can do over here now.
