  1. I am 1-2 games away to completing my MVS collection. I have 2 kits but that was just circumstancial, as my games are in shock boxes (even NG boxes are $!)
  2. Haha honestly, Twinkle Star Sprites it my #1 SHMUP, and possibly even game, on the console. So awesome.
  3. By no means am I trying to convince you to start collecting the expensive monster that is the MVS - but I think people think the NG has less diversity than it actually does. It's possibly the only console where each game on it is at least a playable game.
  4. Phantasy Star III. Was hoping to start playing Luigi's Mansion yesterday but stupid amazon.. should it not be in the Post today then probably going to start Yooka-Laylee 2 and then decide.
  5. I really appreciate when a site has non-NA titles, even though it's mainly what I collect. A 1-stop shop place is ideal. Oh and appreciated the NA rarity numbers next to games, although I think Common/Uncommon/Rare would be enough rather than actual numbers.
  6. Does B. Mitch have ginormous hands or is it just the one he likes to thumbs up with in pictures?
  7. Honestly, I HATE bootlegs, so good. Wish eBay would do it as well. Granted it would just mean sellers would start lying about their cartridges - but perma-banning the sellers could help.
  8. The 161-in-1 cart is the smart way to play. Woulda saved me some serious money haha.
  9. FF VI. #2 is where is gets hard.
  10. Ikaruga was the one I thought to mention. Amazing game.
  11. Honestly, I mostly just buy on eBay now and sell to stores. When you take into account time, eBay/Paypal charges etc., it's usually not worth it to me to sell online via a store. Now sites such as these are amazing when they have a good marketplace.
  12. Probably because I recently purchased it but Nier Automata seems to be pretty diverse.
  13. We convinced my buddy that you could save Biggs and Wedge in FF VI just by locating them in the Empire's base during the peace talks part. He apparently spent a long ass time trying to do so.
  14. Probably the T-Grafx as others have mentioned. I'm with RH on the price though, and I would only want the card-based games (and thus CIC), not the CD ones which I think tends to be where the console shines. It is the only 'mini console' that I bought though and am super excited to play, despite it being dirty emulation haha.
  15. Dark Arms singlehandedly has me considering an NGPC, but I am really not the handheld type. Even GBC, I tend to just buy the ones that can play on the Super Game Boy. @MrWunderful how do you like the jnx model? @Galdius dude.. awesome!
  16. Most cartridge consoles NES-N64. I don't have a TurboG or a Jaguar (not that interested in the Jaguar and probably won't go down the TG path as well), but I did recently buy a 32X and 8/10-12 games that I want on it haha. I am essentially done with non-new SNES and NES games, nearly done Neo Geo MVS, N64 and 32X. SMS and Genesis are probably the last 2 with a decent # games that interest me in discovering.
  17. Haha acromite53 my man, I am just gonna get a CMVS at some point and be happy ;). Neo Geo MVS is super weird in that a 'complete' collection to people tends to mean even the region exclusive ones because they play on any machine. I just went with the North American ones, then bought a couple Japanese ones because they are totally playable (Neo Bomberman was Japan exclusive!). I might buy some other ones but I think 1-2 Mahjong games are acceptable haha.
  18. I actually just beat Phantasy Star III yesterday (underrated game btw, great story) but I rarely play traditional RPGs. I absolutely ADORE Metroidvanias.
  19. It has some VERY cool art and history. The good thing about the console is that any game on it is at least decent. Man, AES is intense. You are right about their games though. The MVS is the only cartridge I don't insist on a decent label, I hope the AES owners were smart enough not to destroy theirs.
  20. Who else loves the Neo Geo :)? Just short a couple games now to completing my MVS collection and wondering whether any other Neo Geo enthusiasts are on VGS. Obviously there are reasons why the console wasn't in every home back in the day, but now there are several ways to play the games. Anyone looking to play a retro console and cheat some nostalgia should check it out.
