Unlocked all the bowlers and lanes in acquisition mode of Super Bowling. Even bowled a perfect game once. Fun game.

A friend and I took some inspiration from some comedic storytelling podcasts and transformed it into one focused on gaming narratives. Our first series explains the events of the first four Resident Evil games. We explain the story, the characters, and how it all relates and have a little fun in highlighting its ridiculousness. If this sounds like something for you.. Thanks for salvaging this @Mega Tank and making the most of it!! I hope you're ready for the full-time job that comes with keeping it all up! :):) FYI - Super Game Station moved from Roanoke, VA to Radford, VA. -

Buddy my weekend was ass. Lost the streak. Friday night I wanted to burn down my town. Saturday I couldn't even look at college football because she hurt me. Sunday i was hopeful looking at the future because we showed so much potential at times this season and we graduate ONE starter. ONE. And today I'm like meh, call me when it's spring game. I hope the Bearcats get a good draw for a bowl, AAC needs some respect this bowl season. ACC sure doesn't. -
LOVED that game. It reminded me of a 2D 16 bit version of the game Dark Cloud for PS2. The action RPG + town building aspect felt very inspired by Soul Blazer. Glad you enjoyed it!

There's a course near me I used to play casually. I'd like to get back into it though.

Double Dragon - Which is the best one and why?
diddles_mcbean replied to m308gunner's topic in The Gauntlet
Recently finished all 3... and really, I don't think any of them are particularly good. I found 3 to be the most difficult, for sure. I have the best memory of 2 though. A buddy and I were playing co-op and we were each a hit away from death and I super knee'd the boss for the final hit and it did the cool black and white freeze frame. We jumped around and high fived for a while after that. Good times. -

Yeah, that's a good point. Selfishly hope the ACC doesn't expand again - there are too many teams now. The AAC is getting so much better though, been great watching you guys, Memphis, and the others make a splash here and there. We messed around and got ranked again even though we don't deserve it. Here's to hoping we knock off Pitt and UVA, then you never know, maybe we'll meet in a bowl again. Babcock is legit. -
NES is my "main" but I love collecting for all cartridge based systems, even some of the weird stuff. I hate worrying about disc condition so I don't collect those as much though I do have quite a few. I also like collecting for the N64 just because the library is smaller and everything is a lot more affordable. Genesis is fun but I fight with myself over whether I should focus on loose or get the clamshells.

Fire n' Ice I made a retropie for my dad for his birthday the year before he passed away and we played that a lot on it and had a ton of fun. I felt I had to add it to my collection after that - though we didn't play it on the cart, it's still special.

We've been dogs ass for two years, it's been embarrassing. Hopefully we get it together soon! We have to maintain 15 straight over UVA or else. Always liked Cincy and playing them, go cats. -

What VGSers have you met in person?
diddles_mcbean replied to captmorgandrinker's topic in Everything Else
Yessir! Muchas beers! Although I didn't end up in the 'Lord this year I've also met @darkchylde28 and @the tall guy! Have interviewed, thrifted with, and bought from those swell fellas. I've met @Winterion and watched his panel at TMG! I met some others from the old site but don't see their names here now. -
I finished Rogue Legacy the other night and ended up just really loving that game. Did not have a strong affinity for rogue-likes before, but that one became so addictive. Tough game by my standards so I feel pretty good getting credits on it.

Game Value Now - Still Reliable?
diddles_mcbean replied to CodysGameRoom's topic in Collector's Questions
I use mainly GVN but the updates have been slow lately with adding new games and since I use them to track my collection, I've been looking for something that helps track new stuff. I use the Retro Game Collector suite for my old stuff and it's stellar but the prices they have are whack. Need one app to rule them all. -
I didn't used to like RPG's but now I kinda like having one in the rotation because I can play one and listen to a podcast at the same time unless it's a dialog heavy one. For large stints of the game though it's rinse/repeat which affords me the opportunity to cram my brain with true crime or comedy, or in some cases, both.

So happy to be here. Stopped by today out of morbid curiosity and what a sight (site) to behold. Thanks to all those who made VGS possible.
