I tried to submit a few PC games to Wata a few years back but they did not have cases for them as many need to be custom made, which is why VGA is able to accept them. I need to add that Wata specifically told me they don’t grade PC games.

Wata doesn’t grade PC games. VGA only grades sealed PC games at their own discretion.

According to whom? Who is the expert that knows that this specific graded game is a forgery? If this person knows this particular game is a forgery, how do they know? We’re they the original seller? Why are they not being treated as the problem here since they would be the lone source of knowing the game “allegedly” graded twice is a forgery? Really grasping here. 4. FTW, the host of this long Facebook post pretending to be journalism, is a platform that elevates social media gossip. It’s not a reliable nor trustworthy source.

Well, wata said 30 day TAT for modern beta submissions. We’ll see how that goes, but it seems like the pile of overdue orders is shrinking. Might be because less people are submitting games now. IGS just opened up their economy tier. Seems like the video game submission market is cooling down in some respects. And CGC is still not open for business. Yikes.

I use VGA for PC games and other items but their dinosaur process and lack of transparency make me hesitant in using them for grading anything that wata accepts. VGA announced pop reports will be released in the height of the wata TAT turmoil. Yet here we are almost a year later and still nothing other than “oh we grade VHS tapes now”.

Reddit is the prime example of a poorly educated populace believing absolutely everything they read on the internet is truth. It will be extremely embarrassing when, if this lawsuit ever does go through (it won’t), the first question the judge will ask is “did everyone get their games back? Yes? Ok, place the counselor under arrest for time theft. Case dismissed.”

What’s the pop of 9.8s? You want it to be a bust so bad but it won’t be. This game has prestige now.

Tecmo Super Bowl was a far superior game but that only went for 13k. Granted, there are about 15 more of those slabbed than the circle seal TB. But these prospectors want the “rookie card” games. It’ll be interesting to see what the Ken Griffey jr baseball sells for in August since there’s only 12 of those that have been slabbed. And I won’t be surprised to see NFL Gameday 2003 (Tom Brady) command 5 figures eventually. Back in the day you couldn’t give that game away for free. I’ve been seeing the PS1 version of that game climb near a grand ungraded.
