I've come across a few with the hole through the barcode, but have seen many more with the hole drilled through the top left corner of the PS1 case or bottom right corner of the PS2 case.

I've noticed quite a few sealed PS1 and PS2 sealed games that look to have tiny holes drilled into them. Some games still have the security strip on them but just the packaging has a hole in it. What does this mean and could they still be graded as sealed despite the hole?

We never really will know for sure if its possible until they decide to make a census available to the public.

Does wata still plan to make the population report public? I read somewhere a while back they said summer 2020...

I had a saved search for sealed snes Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball that I hawked for YEARS, literally more than a decade. I managed to get one of the few V seams that ever showed up on ebay, but I'd def like to know what the population of that sealed game is given the few I've seen become available for sale. One came up recently for a buy it now for 450 but someone sniped it. I think once a searchable population report becomes available from wata, similar to what BGS and PSA have, that is when this hobby will explode.

I enjoy reading all of your stories. My collecting started in 2001. I bought a bundle from a guy for $50. In that lot came an Atari 2600 and NES that "didn't work". Luckily for me I knew how to replace the pin. All the "hit" games came with each, 15 games for Atari and 40 games for the NES (Tyson, Zelda, etc). Didn't get into sealed collecting until about 2007. The very first sealed game I bought was Mortal Kombat for Genesis. I thought it would be a crucial game to have sealed considering the controversy surrounding it. I had the SNES version as a kid, so "no blood" was the downside. The SNES version set had much better gameplay, but I'll never forget playing it on the Genesis for the first time at a friends house and I believe the reaction was "WHOAAAA BLOOOOOOOD" and it was a big deal because all the daily talk shows on TV said all of us kids were having our brains warped.

So far I have come across 2 Minecraft Xbox 360 variants. 1- along the spine, the code reads G2W-00001. On the back, bottom left corner- X18-85885-01 and the barcode is 885370606508 2- along the spine, the code reads G2W-00002. On the back, bottom left corner- X18-86446-01 and the barcode is 885370606515 Does anyone know of any other variants for this game, and which one of them would be considered a first print? Thanks

The xbox "black label" version of the original Max Payne had a mistake on one of the quotes on the back of the game- "absolutely most not miss". This was corrected on the second run (absolutely must not miss) along with an added logo graphic credit on the bottom right. The first print shows 5 logo credits, the "most" corrected version has 6. I have not seen this variant on the PS2 version- does anyone know if a "most" error exists for the ps2 printing as well?
