    I looked at it one day and the price is just as steep as other NG games

    I did not but I saw lots of tourists do it in Akihabara. Kinda makes you look like a baka gaijin imo. But it could be fun as long as you drive well and you don't mind doing more touristy stuff (and besides I don't have a driver's licence so I wouldn't even be able to do it)

    I got there with a JLPT N3 level and left on my way to the N2 (gonna take the exam this summer). I never really looked for GB stuff as I was focusing on PC Engine stuff but I found Game Boy stuff quite hard to find. I know there's a few rare games there as I saw some in showcase windows over there but I'm more well versed in PAL/US rares

    Google maps works great but make sure you get a data plan or pocket wifi. You should be able to get either at the airport or at Yodobashi Kamera

    I love to add various demo effects in my games. In the one I'm working on right now I added this little intro scrolly I also did a lot more of these, you should be able to find them on my Twitter. Pretty proud of this one for instance But yeah my games are littered with demo fx

    Oh and I also got a CIB Neo Geo CD over in Japan when I lived there for a year. I mainly got it because I had a copy of Metal Slug 2 for it but no system to play it on. Come to think of it I kinda wanna play MS2 now hahaha

    I have a CIB AES along with 8 games. Some pretty expensive titles too (Ninja Commando, Sengoku 2...). However I only have those because I got veeeeeeeeeeeery lucky one day. It's a really sweet system but way too expensive for me hahaha

    Vice Project Doom is the best of the bunch IMO. It does emphasise on platforming but the other segments are always nice to play. I also dig NES Star Wars and Battletoads if that counts.
