Well, on LRG site for non limited releases it specifically says that you can buy in multiples of 30 and get sent in a sealed factory box, so there is that to support the 30 to a case.

FWIW I bought a few copies of Trails in the Sky and Fate Extra whilst in the UK and all the copies came shrinkwrapped. I bought them direct from the XSEED UK website store. I know these being PAL copies and there might be regional differences.
