  1. I don't want to here any "depends" bs. This is a meme so you only get the options I give you
  2. Corporate espionage. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if an employee sold off early demo's to bootleggers.
  3. Yeah I'm going to pick all of the above. You are both wrong and both should be better and known better. I'm sure the waiter though both of you guys were asses and both handled the situation incorrectly. But if you are looking for a "win", I'd totally stay they fucked up first.
  4. That website listed on the bottom has more information about the video. Including previews of the video, https://shop.mediaed.org/game-over-p97.aspx They have this listed for $250!! They also have another video game too for $350.
  5. Damn right you better pick #2 2's across the board for me. My dad was a huge James Brown fan so I have to vote for the Soul Man.
  6. Whats your latest favorite video game book you found/read?
  7. Nice Genesis scores!! Those PS4's are steals at $2 a pop.
  8. Never drove a tank but have driven, and was licensed, on a M3 Bradley which uses tracks like a tank.... Once you turn so far it will make one track go forward and the other backwards. This can be quit jarring when driving forward at like 25 mph. As you may suspect, a track vehicle will stop on a dime so you are basically throwing the occupants inside at 25 mph into a non-padded interior. That day in basic resulted in the vehicle instructor being full of bruises and and some privates getting the shit smoked out of them.
  9. I think this is a good thought process when it comes to video game resellers. Other sellers I've seen them use this properly to explain minor defects or wear on the item like with clothes. Any clothes reseller learns quick that you have to note all imperfections or you'll get hit with a return/refund. Unless the clothing items is new I'm expect them to always mention some kind of minor flaw for older clothes.
  10. I did purchases it when it was on say for $20. When it arrived it turned out to be a PEGI version. I started the return process right then. When I went to reorder I saw the price was $40 again. Ended up chatting with Amazon customer services for about 10 mins trying to explain I want a replacement and not refund because the cost changed. Dude tried to tell me a replacement would give me the PEGI version again even though NOTHING on the site said that is the version being sent. In the end he gave me a gift card of $19.50 to cover the difference. At that point I took my time with my order to figure out what to buy now that I got $20 bucks to rebuy. I bought from a 3rd party seller thinking that they won't fuck up the version. Was also like $1 cheaper all said and done. Also had a pre-order PSVR game come in today with a broken case and seal. That shit is going back for a refund. I just reordered because the price is the same. No need for chat with Amazon about that. First time I had this happen with a new game from Amazon.
  11. I just had to make a call on what version of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope to buy (regular or Best Buy version with exclusive DLC skin...... I went with regular because I didn't like the altered box art). I don't know if I would put Sears in the same category unless they were selling it with additional item or a different cover/box art. And even then, was the intent to get people to buy from Sears because the box art was better? The Kay-Bee Toys is clearly marketing people to buy there with an incentive that isn't just price.
  12. Hell, there are sellers who list shit as "New (Other)" and it's a disc only. Hell I've seen PS4 (case only) being listed slightly below CIB PriceCharting prices and are listed as "New (Other)" with title saying *read description*. Only there do you see it's case only. Yet case only are listed on eBay for 75% less the cost. Obvious they are looking for someone to do a quick look and purchase because the pricing is a good deal. People can put a lot of responsibility on the buyer but I think it's absolute bullshit when the sell literally is looking to "scam" someone. Same goes for these repos of retro games being sold. If the seller knows shit is misleading then it's wrong. Ebay only cares when they find themselves in legal trouble with selling fake shit that the actual company will sue to stop. There is a difference from buying shit in a shady situation for a stupid low price. All signs point it being a fake and then I'm with people on saying the buyer should of known better. Maybe with Ebay collecting contact information for tax purposes they can actually implement bans on individual people. It'll only be so long before a seller burns through the handful of people's ID's that are willing to let them make an account on eBay. Not to mention the IRS audit they may trigger with not reporting income earned in their name on eBay. Hey, the IRS thing might actually help reduce these shit sellers! Problem is I don't think eBay cares enough to actual black list the person from making another account with the same damn name. They'll do the bear minimum to "address" the problem. But they make a fuck ton of money off of miss leading listings and repos/fakes.
  13. I wonder what your opinions are on companies that republish those games, digital or physical, and then the retro copies plummet in price. I'm way more aware of this happening because I do watch those "hidden gem" videos and then try and find them as remakes/ports for cheap. And then find out they are only available on the original console and how expensive it is. As soon as a there is even and announcement of of an official digital release of the game those old physical copies drop over night. Nice thing for collectors . NES should just make cheap digital copies of all of their stuff so the market can tank. Not like Nintendo is making any money from those 3rd party resellers. In a more modern sense this happen with physical release of games that get put on the PlayStation Plus free monthly games list. When that happens I'll do a double dip. Get the digital for free and by the physical for cheap in case I like the game
  14. I would of put "I didn't study for this test."
  15. Their PSVR games are always so high. It's frustrating to pay over MSRP for a game that has a hole punch and knowing it was gotten for even cheaper. I can't complain too much though. If wasn't for LRG many good titles would never have a physical release
  16. Pretty sure is LRG getting rid of old stock. I've seen on other manufactures. I'm buying PSVR games so go figured they have over stock to get ride of The games are factory sealed. I just wish I knew how they bought them direct from LRG so I can do that my self.
  17. Damn near every Limited Run game I get from eBay has a damn hole punch in it. I'm cheap and have no problem with buying used copies so a hole punch isn't the end of the world for me. But damn if they don't always seem to be everywhere until you pay 20%+ more for a game to not have a hole punch.
