  1. I know it's just beating a dead horse, but man these prices am I right. It's like these people just search for "Grand Theft Auto Sealed" or "Spider-Man Sealed" or "Popular Movie Sealed" and it doesn't matter at all if anyone cares about the game, what version of the game it is, whether it has any relevance, whether it's a garbage game or port... If it has shrink wrap... to the moon! You might as well pay $600k for the GBA port of Super Mario Bros. Get your Dragon 32 copy of Frogger while you still can. After all it says Frogger, and people have heard of Frogger, so it must be collectible!
  2. I know I've been on the internet too long when I accidentally type NintendoAge. It means I'm too desperate to find something to do that I'm resorting to random "what's on the internet" muscle memory.
  3. 9/10. Lock Stock was my favorite movie as a kid as kind of weird as that is, and Snatch is pretty fantastic too. I just like wacky accents I guess.
  4. Mannn, Zardoz is so good. I’ve got my Zardoz poster right next to Citizen Kane and There Will Be Blood.
  5. Yeah, I’m fomoing like Japanese computer games and Apple II stuff, not getting caught up in nonsense black box and Pokemon hype. It’s not that I think they’ll increase in value anytime soon, but if they ever do I’ll always have the “I wanted that when it cost nothing!” feeling looming over me. Realistically I have more than I could ever want. I could spend the rest of my life cleaning, organizing, catalogging, and playing.
  6. You can't trick me into revealing what I'm targeting, I've been on the FOMO train for 2 years now assuming any day now everything I want will become unobtainable!
  7. Old RPGs like Temple of Apshai and Pool of Radiance. I want to play them for the history, but man some 40 year old games like RPGs and strategy games just seem tremendously tedious.
  8. The Mystique guy in articles at the time vehemently denied it was rape IIRC. Some people just like being tied to a cactus. In the gender-swapped game, she's running towards him and not away after all.
  9. Probably the best out of context quote on this entire site.
  10. Lol that site is regularly updated. It just has some big boomer energy.
  11. One of the biggest consoles I basically have no experience with. I never knew anyone who had one and I've only played them at conventions. I do need to get one eventually since they're still readily available NOS and the state of emulation isn't great, so it seems like one of the consoles most worth physically owning. But I mean it's Jaguar so And as cool as Tempest 2000 is, probably the game I've played most since it's always the game in the console, I've played a lot of Space Giraffe which feels like a superior successor in a lot of ways. Space Giraffe just isn't as well known because it's not the one beloved game on a console mostly devoid of beloved exclusive games.
  12. I mean the GTA Trilogy set is more expensive because people are grading the games and getting $100s, there are still tons of them. I have a friend who is 0% involved in the whole Wata scene and I told him to crack and grade them a joke and he's done it multiple times and made profit. It really makes no sense. I constantly stand befuddled at what people are willing to pay for mundane/poor/incomplete things in a Wata case, but there's not much I can do besides buy the things I think are cool while gawking at people buying things I think are strange. If you tried to "educate" people to think how most people do you'd be on Facebook all day telling people to stop buying box set components, Majesco games, Players Choice games for not nearly enough of a discount over original labels, etc.
  13. Sonic Mania is so good! (Sonic Heroes is pretty good too, just don't tell anyone I said so)
  14. If it's not, it's because food elitists made a sub they really like and now pretend it's in its own category of foodstuffs because they don't want it compared to lesser subs. It's just a long piece of bread with meat and cheese. A higher quality of a footlong steak and cheddar from Quiznos.
  15. I change my answer to April O'Neil
  16. Don has the best, nonlethal weapon (these are HEROES after all). He's the smartest. He's mature. Purple is the best color. He's the clear choice. Raph is reckless and hot tempered. What is he 11 years old, grow up Raph. Raph is probably the only turtle that wouldn't be fun to be friends with.
  17. 5/10 I only played this at my friend's house when it first came out. It has such a flashy, good first impression (minus the crappy first level, I mean Emerald Coast). So my memories of it are just playing Emerald Coast over and over really. I played through the PC version when that came out and Jesus this game is pretty bad, particularly the "Adventure" part of it. It's so damn slow and boring!! There are flashes of what it feels like a 3D Sonic should be, running vertically down the side of a building, snowboarding down an avalanche, etc. and it's broken up by sections walking around town talking to people. Who wants to do that!!!
  18. What? I'm not going on Pawn Stars to sell something, who does that? I'm purely there to manipulate the market, except instead of trying to hype Nintendo shrink wrap, it would be to de-hype stuff I like.
  19. I would just want Deniz so he can rip apart my homebrew or Japanese game or PC game like he did DRob’s Atari games so people don’t want to invest in those.
  20. I mean there are games that barely exist to begin with like Mr. Boston Clean Sweep and Air Raid, so there must be a bunch of really obscure stuff. In a world of Stadium Events case packs, I assume most everything is out there somewhere and people just aren't constantly flipping them or flaunting them on social media.
  21. Don't forget that you'll need Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Assassin's Creed Odyssey Deluxe Edition, Assassin's Creed Odyssey Gold Edition, Assassin's Creed Odyssey Gold Steelbook Edition, Assassin's Creed Odyssey Kassandra Edition, Assassin's Creed Odyssey Medusa Edition, Assassin's Creed Odyssey Omega Edition, Assassin's Creed Odyssey Pantheon Edition, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey Spartan Edition.
  22. I love Among Us, but it's neither a game that really needs to be preserved physically nor does this release preserve it since it's just an online game. It's like a $25 gift box full of some Amogus knick knacks you would buy at Target. Like a steelbook case around a concept art DVD, come on, lol.
  23. Ughhh, The Bunker was so bad. I can't believe I paid to have it immortalized in blu ray form.
  24. Journey - A boring, pretentious game and I have six words leftover.
