$20 is $20. One negative feedback on eBay is nothing. There's plenty of times I buy from people with less than stellar feedback because I know people can be unfair sometimes. As a buyer, I've been in the position where an item has been "delivered" but I never received it, that's when I (the buyer) take the L. Same as when I'm a seller and USPS loses a package, I'll refund and take the L. The burden shouldn't be on the seller in every single scenario. Hopefully it shows up in a few days and everything works out, but let an open case or one bad feedback scare you.

I think the same way, but believe it's the 30 year nostalgia cycle. Just how Stranger Things was all he rage 5 years ago (1985-2015), and now the 90's are making their comeback (Dunkaroos is now a thing again), cultural nostalgia generally has a cycle. Therefore, I would only just now consider SNES/GEN becoming retro. Any games for systems that are no longer sold in B&M stores I just refer to as old or old school. I wonder if self respecting member here ever uses the word "vintage" to describe their games.

Ok, Xenosaga III. Any clue why it's sky rocketed in price?

America’s 2020 election (NOW with polls!)
Aguy replied to Link's topic in Political Debate & Discussion's threads
Trump: Send kids back to school, get people back to work, come to my rallies, we have to open the country back up, etc... Also Trump: "Delay the election until people can properly, securely, and safely vote". -
Well, maybe it's time to lets mine go. It's not as nice as this one, but dang.

I finished Dragon Quest Builders 2 Story Mode on Switch, took about 65 hours.

If those slurpee cups weren't $30+ on eBay, I would have picked them up too.

I just beat Streets of Rage 4 (X1) with my 8 y/o son. The difficulty is highly customizable and very replayable.

It includes the black 32GB console, the GamePad, the AC adapters for both, system manuals and the original purchase receipt. It also comes with the original HDMI connector, the sensor bar, both gamepad cradle docks, and the console stands. Both the console and the GamePad are in very good condition but they do have a few scratches. the Nintendo OEM HDMI cable is included, but it's pretty crappy so I would use a different one. The serial number on the GamePad matches the box, but it is missing the stylus. The system has been factory reset and does not include the wind waker HD game or Hyrule historia. This will be bubble wrapped and shipped in a larger cardboard box to ensure safety. $260 + 10 lbs shipping from 92057. Sold on eBay for $280 plus shipping.

My wife has been on a scary movie kick lately, so we've been watching all The Conjuring franchise. My son (8 y/o) wants to watch them, but we think they are too scary. So we started slow with Hocus Pocus, which he found not scary. Then we watched Jurassic Park, and he only covered his eyes when the lawyer got eaten. So next step we think is Gremlins. Any one have some other age appropriate scary/horror movies?

Did you have a smaller company whose games you bought?

I used to buy all the Nicalis releases on Switch, but stopped after it came out that the owner was ghosting small devs and harassing his employees. -

31-Day Video Game Music Challenge - June 2020
Aguy replied to AverageOliver98's topic in The Gauntlet
I like all the definites and maybes AverageOliver98 chose. I vote for Handheld, Racing, and First Level. Maybe Shooter can just change to Shmup? I agree Console Exclusive is no good, but what about PC exclusive? That seems a little more focused. I'll also throw in... Cult Classics Spinoffs Arcade Reboot/Remake -

Please Help: Short Term Memory Experiment for Psych Class

Or it could be your brain better tracked the patterns because it was your second attempt. That's why you have a counterbalanced approach and collect as many participants as possible, so you can try to even out uncontrollable variables, such as RNG and repetition. Maybe middle-aged game collecting nerds is the population a want to generalize... -
I'm taking a Cognitive Psychology lab over summer, and we have to design and execute our own experiment. Since it's online and (waving hands) everything else going on, it's limited my options. So I turn to you all. I only need 10 people to complete this test and report their scores but you can never have too much data. The test should take about 3-4 minutes total so if you are interested, please continue reading and Thank you for your consideration. You are tasked with playing a memory game (https://humanbenchmark.com/tests/memory) twice, once while listening to no music and once while listening to this music (www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ioc6sdgugo). If the handle you use for this site starts with A-M, please play the game first without any music, then again with the supplied music playing in the background. If the handle you use for this site starts with N-Z, please play the game first with the supplied music playing in the background, then again without any music. Please post your score for each round below and the order you played the games. You can also DM me your score if you'd prefer. EX for: Round 1, no music, score 5 Round 2, music, score 5 OR Round 1, music, score 5 Round 2, no music, score 5

I was also thinking about a "spooky music" day (fun idea for October), also an underwater day, educational game... -

Yes on both. I'd also be interested in making some alterations to some of the days if that's an option. -
Did anyone else pick this up? It's a bundle with 1700+ games, assets, pdf's, etc... with proceeds being donated to the NAACP and the Community Bail Fund. I got it earlier today and started Night in the Woods, and looking to play A Short Hike, 2064: Read Only Memories, Minit, and A Mortician's Tale after that. I don't game much on my computer, since I only have a laptop these days, so I haven't played a lot of these kinds of smaller indie games since before indie games was a "genre". Link for those interested, it ends tonight (6/15). https://itch.io/b/520/bundle-for-racial-justice-and-equality

Busy weekend, but caught up through Monday and gave some much deserved love to Pokemon TCG on Day 15. Check it out.
