Yes, there's some legit ones like those, good eye!

If you're interested in those, I can send them your way 🙂

Yeah we could talk, figure something out.  F1-Race is the bomb, stupid they never released it here.  I'm sure looking it over a few more real ones could be found, translated.

Things have been so busy around here, I haven't had the time to update this thread until now. Here are some recent finds.

The two Famiclone controllers at the top go to an Ending Man Famiclone, iirc it's the 500 series or something like that.

The codebook is for the PlayStation, and it was done by the company that used to do conversions of FDS games back in the day.

Xbox stuff. Found one Taiwanense game, the Tiger Woods game, from EA of Taiwan. No, this one wasn't sealed 😉 I also found a Microsoft employee store game, and the case and manual for a second game. Yup, found it locally here in Taiwan, at a junk shop.

The three Dreamcast games weren't sealed, sadly enough, but they were local finds and cheap.

Then there's the two promo Mario Party things, Taiwanense market, not for sale, yes please.

Not bad, more surprised I missed that last post.  I like that if that's what I think it is, the SMB2j FDS to FC cart hack, they had all sorts of bootleggy labels and shells.  The goof in the boxed game in the helmet sort of reminds me of konami man but I know it's not.

There's a lot of Mario 2 FDS ports they're not all created equal.

Anyways, grabbed these today:

Strategy guide to one of my favorite games ever, Mario Kart 64. This was brand new but I opened it as I wanted to look at it 😄

GB game link cables, brand new, Taiwanense made. Two of each type, if someone wants the extras please pm me and we can work something out.

Sudoku LCD and shitty multicart. Just shoot me, I'm trying to clear out space, lol!

The multicart on the left in between those two other Famicom carts appears to have a nearly identical label as this NES multicart I have. Is it a 110 in 1?

Yeah I've got two Leonardos.

Awesome love vintage TMNT stuff, never seen bootlegs before so that image up there was a treat.  Great find, but given where you are and I remember you had some pokemon and other junk too it's likely common. 😛

I'll take a picture of all three together at some point. 🙂

You don't usually find too many of these bootleg old toys, especially with the package. I was quite tickled to find this one as it matched the set I started.

Made the rounds like I generally do weekly, saw a crate of bootleg PS games on the counter of one shop.

As they had no prices on them, I asked the owner of they were for sale, she said that as they were just burnt disks, they couldn't sell them, then proceeded to give me all of them, after I inquired, for free. She even grabbed a few out of the claws of a Philipino guy, to give me instead, yeah I guess now I'm enemy number 1.

The shopkeeper asked me if I was going to resell them, then I explained about my research efforts and book, and she was quite excited to hear that someone was interested in documenting this stuff.

These would have been made and sold at the shop level, the spines have the Chinese on them. A few games claim to be Chinese language version, I (obviously) haven't tried anything out.

As I know little about PS games, these all just seem to be copies of normal releases, anything exciting here like something unreleased?

You should support that shop what a nice lady, pretty cool stuff. Im no ps1 expert but I have played a few of those

Yeah, I always try to buy something when I stop by, and I generally go there once a week. Sometimes I buy gaming stuff, sometimes other things. Friendly people, generally good prices and good selection of new items coming in, for a junk shop.

Grabbed these today:

Xbox Live Arcade, sealed, Japanese version.

4 in 1 multicart. This is made by the notorious JY Company, and I am collecting their carts. While they have carts numbered into the 200s+ (ID code), my goal is to just collect up to between number 120-150 (I need to decide my cut off point). The later carts after that are more generic and filled with crap, basically a different series almost. I have about 40-50% of this collection done .

Whirlwind Manu cart! I've been collecting these too, I'd like to get the whole set of 430 or whatever, but I've only ever found maybe 1/4 of the set locally. I see some sometimes for sale abroad, but no way I'm paying the postage cost unless I could buy in bulk.

Gyruss, cartridge conversion of the Famicom Disk game. Now I'm only missing maybe two or three carts to complete this set. 🙂

Squirrel King. Original Rescue Rangers game for Sega Mega Drive. I've now got an extra (I bought this one just for the box), if someone wants it, just DM me, I could do $30 shipped.
