Two different orders showed up yesterday just in time for the weekend, one from VGP and the other from Japan!

I've been really intrigued by the new features added to Pikmin 4, so I'm eager to dive in, but when I realized that Blasphemous II was coming, I was elated! I backed the original, love that game (still need to beat it, stuck on a boss near the end -_-) so a sequel had me over the moon.

I managed to get a Starfield controller through VGP, and I've been patiently waiting for Fires of Rubicon to arrive (held up by pre-orders)...man, I can't wait to play some Armored Core this weekend...

Then, from Japan, I finally scored a complete Sengoku Blade at the price I wanted to pay, and the same for Metal Black.

I was also able to get a copy of MSH vs. SF RAM pack for cheeeeeaaaaaap (with some box wear, but didn't care considering the price), and Jim from Mad Panic Gaming sent me a complete copy of Final Fight Revenge which was a complete surprise!

Jim also sent me a copy of Hyper Duel!!! This was one of the two I most wanted when I started on this Saturn import journey, so this one is huge for me. Sadly, it's not complete, so now comes the long process of keeping an eye out for an obi and reg. card (hit me up if you have one or the other to sell, pls!)

The last one I managed to get was a complete copy of Zanac X Zanac! I'm a huge Compile fan, so this one was a special get for me. Only two more games to go, and I'm done with PS1 😉

Thanks for looking folks, and good luck in finding what you're looking for!

Downloads this week. I'm gonna receive some packages next month, so I'll add some more exciting stuff to my collection then.

Downloaded F-Zero 99 near its release.

Downloaded the newest update for Sonic Frontiers, which adds a ton of content and improvements. I need to get back to playing this before Sonic Superstars is released. It's been a few months.

So I bought the physical release of Sonic Origins Plus on Switch in the summer. The physical release actually only contains the regular Sonic Origins on the card, with a code to download the Plus content. The Plus DLC adds the twelve Sonic Game Gear games. I don't really need these because I have Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Gems Collection, as well as some of the original cartridges. Also, gotta love the inaccurate descriptions for some of the games. Sonic 1 on Game Gear is not a port of the Genesis version, it's a different game with different levels and (mostly) different music.

The Plus content also adds Knuckles as a playable character in Sonic CD and Amy as a playable character in Sonic 1, 2, CD, and 3 & Knuckles, which were the main reasons why I downloaded it.

A Sega Master System version of Mega Man 2 (homebrew). It has the opening and the first eight levels, but it wasn't completed. There are no enemies in the levels, and it's impossible to reach the end of some of the levels. For example, the blocks in Heatman's stage don't appear. On the other hand, the music is really good and some of it actually sounds better than the NES version (like Metalman's stage). For some reason, though, Airman's stage has the music from Spark Mandrill's stage (Mega Man X).

Downloaded a proof of concept version of Sonic the Hedgehog for GBA. It has all of Green Hill Zone, part of Labyrinth Zone, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are playable, and the music sounds almost identical to the Genesis version. So what's the point of this? Well, it proves that Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis (the official GBA version) could've been better.

image.jpeg.e12c7e3e54bd18e237506ef01848987b.jpeg

Downloaded Mega Man 3 Revamped. There's a hack called Mega Man 3 Improvement that adds a lot of things that were cut from the regular Mega Man 3, such as a planet near the beginning of Gemini Man's stage, an unused version of the Dr. Wily escape scene with more detailed backgrounds and the full version of the Dr. Wily Fortress map music, and the full version of Protoman's theme during the ending. Improvement also adds an opening, reduces lag, adds the ability to switch weapons on the fly, and fixes bugs. I recorded a video of Mega Man 3 Improvement and uploaded it on the day of Mega Man 3's 30th anniversary.

Mega Man 3 Revamped is an updated version of Mega Man 3 Improvement, with most of the same changes. It makes some adjustments to the stage layouts, fixes more bugs than Improvement, and has some more detailed backgrounds. The background in Top Man's stage, for example, resembles the more detailed background that was used in beta versions of Mega Man 3.

I finally got my US box yesterday, and this was a big one as I completed some lists which is a relief.

I finally decided to finish up my NA PS1 collection (I only had 3 left on my list), so I managed to find great deals on minty copies of Guilty Gear and DQVII! Aside from that, I gave my 360 away to my sister (big Gears fan) and read that Binary Domain isn't on the backwards compatible list, so I picked up a PS3 copy along with the Japanese pre-order bonus headset. This game is FANTASTIC, so if you've been sleeping on Binary Domain, give it a shot; great story, great game-play, classic Sega arcade-style fun!

...and Clock Tower was the last one. I decided to get a 'NOS' ASCII Grip (only $7!) and Playstation mouse to go with it for the best experience. That Grip is awesome, btw!

I finally secured Mario Party 2, and fully complete copies of SMB and SMB2; with these gets, I'm done with both N64 and Gamcube!

NOI-yGGnQL-zmkbH53H5rQ.jpg.76be6134b026f0128405549c464c9bd7.jpg

I also found amazing deals for fully complete copies of Tetris Attack and Boxxle II, the latter of which really surprised me; another two off the Gameboy 'to get' list 🙂

I love the Simulation Series by Koei, so I was really happy to - finally, after years of being patient - get a fully complete copy of Genghis Khan II for $50.

The S.O.S was a big get for me, fully complete and at a reasonable price. I've found that I really like the Human Entertainment catalogue, so I'm really looking forward to putting the time into this one!

Last but not least, I finally - after a lot of searching - managed to get Winter Heat! Decathlete is AWESOME, and I've heard and read that the follow-up, Winter Heat, is stellar. This was the last NA Saturn game I was after, so a very exciting moment for me.

And, I managed to score the other of the two games I wanted that started me on my Japanese Saturn journey last year: Blast Wind. I managed to get this fully complete from a guy in Quebec, so I didn't have to order this one from Japan for a change. Super excited to finally land Blast WInd 🙂

And that's it for me for a bit on the retro side. I got notice of an LRG shipment that's on it's way, but I'm going to take a bit of a break.

Thanks for looking, and I hope you all find what you're looking for!

Not worth framing. It's yours for 5$ plus shipping. I have no use for it.

Yeah I'm interested, just let me know what the details are within a PM and we can figure out the shipping cost.  I got a spot on the wall that would look perfect. 😄  Thanks.

ehh who would that be? i think it's my first sale to tanooki duder. he better give me something nice next time 😉  i mean not a photo of his belly button

I have him send his instead, max zoom, so you can gaze into it and watch as time changes as space folds in on itself.

That said, it's done and I wrote you again, been nice talking.  Whenver it pops up I'll head up the street to find a shadowbox for the wall just like a few other items I've done that with.  I still need to go grab one for my sealed up Wolfenstein 3D GBA game as that art is iconic, for now in a plastic box protector I had lying around.

And that said, on new stuff.  Yesterday and the week went nice.  Days ago finally rounded out the MIdway trio I loved on DC the N64 got amazing ports of that run great, figures the cheapie was last, Ready 2 Rumble, that generations lost Punchout.  The rest was the sunday flea and went nice.  Got the mario movie Mario free, Koopa bagged for a dollar.  Got crazy enough an aliexpress sealed up snap case with GBA 369in1 cart new for $5 the names they put for games are so utterly laughable the engrish is worth it alone, yet it is basically all the pokemon, all 4 mario adv, mario&dk and superstar saga, along with a few random ones like mmpr, wwe, road rash (around 20~) GBA titles, rest is pocket nes and insane.  Then $20 I think it was for a MOTU strydor(missing 1/2 guns and tail), lost vikings gen, tom&jerry gg w/manual, and thps2 for gba.  All around win of nice variety and at a nice value.
