That sucks man. I saw that thread. The man in charge definitely shouldn’t have called you out publicly like that. He just moved and I’m sure he was a bit tired from all that. 
If what you said was worded a bit differently, things wouldn’t have gone that route. I’m sure what you said was lost in translation. 
Maybe just take a break? I did that for a while and it did me some good.

This place, like all Internet forums can get a little heated over stupid bullshit.

I don’t think what gloves said was rude or out of line, he simply questioned why you would act so entitled for someone just trying to help you when you are the one who asked for help. I wasn’t even mad about the comment and no one really seemed to be giving him shit about it anyways. 

Yeah nobody gave him any shit, I was just checking in on the post which had some attitudinal tone to it. I didn't give a warning or anything at all, it was not heated in the slightest. After that single post and then his apology literally nothing else happened so I'm not sure where this post is even coming from, especially the whole "Look people. I said I was sorry. What more do you want from me?" thing - it really didn't go further at all after he apologized, it was such a non-thing.

I'm not about to beg people to say, but what @Richardhead said rings true - if you feel you've been wronged or that you need to step away, I'd encourage just taking a break. If that break becomes permanent, that's fine too; do whatever does you best.

I was a bit taken back that ol’ Glovsie responded at all. I get where he was coming from. But at the same time when typing things on the interwebs, things get a bit lost in translation.

Thanks for the input all. I guess I'll stay here. I guess I'm just one that blows things out of proportion. I don't want to get into any trouble here. When I am angered, I guess I should just not post anything. I tried to fix the thing, but at the same time I didn't want to break it further.

OP posted for help with his Lynx not working. Somebody posted a link to a how-to for opening and fixing it. He felt a little frustrated and didn't think it was helpful because he has a previously-unspecified different model. Gloves said "why respond like that". Then Tanooki called him lazy. Tanooki just tends to use negative language like that which is a him thing not an OP thing. OP just isn't as comfortable dealing with hardware as some people, which I can understand (I am 100% clueless about actual programming, which OP does a ton of; we all have different abilities and proclivities).

That's how it all seemed to me.

It was so "not a big deal" that I was also mystified by this thread until further comments implied the context of that thread, which I had seen earlier. 

@Gamegearguy let me reiterate that I'm pretty sure nobody has a problem with you and you are welcome here. I for one like reading about your projects.
