  1. I started playing Stardew Valley and holy shit it’s taken my life over. Hoping to knock one more off before the end of the year! Looking at changing things up considerably next year in terms of games!
  2. I typically like King’s movie adaptations but Pet Semetary fell flat for me. It had some good parts but as a whole it was meh.
  3. I’m a simple person and I’ve played enough games, I’ll take games I’ve played
  4. This final boss in OoA is killing me. I’m so frustrated
  5. I’ve only seen the shining but I recently read the book and it’s leagues better. Film is great but wow the book.
  6. Luigi’s Mansion is done! I had a Gamecube growing up and a few games, I’d mainly wanted it for Tony Hawk’s games but I had some others. What I’m learning in my adult life is I slept on a lot of classics. This game was fantastic. While not super challenging at any point, I still really enjoyed it a lot. The controls were crisp and I really enjoyed the semi non linearity that it had. The levels all felt very charming and unique with purpose. The puzzles were fun and intuitive. My only real complaint was the end boss. While it was well done and quite unique, I really disliked how I had to go through the rooms and such the dirt mounds to traverse back down. Minor complaint yes but it just was a pain to die and then have to go through so many rooms to try again. Also, the unskippable cutscene for the final boss drove me nuts. I hate that crap. All in all, I’ll play it again. 8/10 I got the “C” rank and barely missed the “B”. I had 49/50 Boo’s and just couldn’t find the last. I’ll definitely return to this to ensure I get the best ending. Can’t wait to play 3 now.
  7. I’ve not played it on modern consoles so I can’t relate with the bug but I definitely struggled to get into this game at first despite being such a Ducktales fan. The controls are definitely different and can be an adjustment. When it finally clicked for me, I flew through the first game and immediately booted up and beat the second. I wish you luck on your quest to someday finish it!
  8. Kirby 64 is something.. there’s something I don’t like that I can’t quite explain yet. Luigi’s Mansion on the other hand, wow!!
  9. I’m so close to Oracle of Ages being done! Once that’s done, I’ll likely hammer out Kirby 64 for an easy completion and then take on something a little more meaty.
  10. I finished Super Mario 64. Man, what a game. I don’t think I can say anything that’s not been said before. I never once got tired of playing and enjoyed it thoroughly through the end. Such great levels. The Wing Cap stars were the only two that messed with me, I expected some of 100 coin ones too but they did not. Such an amazing game despite the camera causing a few unnecessary deaths. This one feels great to have off the backlog. 10/10.
  11. I’m now at 116/120 for Super Mario 64. I’m still in disbelief I did the 100 coin stars for Tick Tock Clock and Rainbow Ride. I now have the two wing cap stars (which are driving me insane), Star 6 in Rainbow Ride and the last Bowser red coin star.
  12. Pm sent my dude
  13. Im up to 113/120 through a very shocking turn of events. I completed Tick Tock Clock… that 100 coin was much much much easier than anticipated. I got one secret star and one from Rainbow Ride. Two more in Rainbow Ride, Star 1 and 6 and then the 100 coin. Four secret stars. Two bowser red coins and then the two wing caps.
  14. I’m at 108/120 in Super Mario 64. I’ve got the first 13 worlds completed and half of Tick Tock Clock. It’s getting quite difficult now but I’m still enjoying it! Three more stars in TTC and four more in RR. Then 5 more Castle Secret Stars… so close!
  15. It’s a fantastic game and I feel it’s aged pretty well. Top 5 of all time for me for sure.
