  4. I don't know how this great artist has escaped me all of these years!
  5. I currently have a 2015 Toyota Rav 4. My favorite era was when I was in high school (graduated in 70) - I had a 1963 powder blue Pontiac Bonneville convertible with a 389 - that thing could move like a bat out of hell. I also had a couple of little Fiat 600s - 800 lb bodies with 26HP engines that would not go over 45 mph. They had four on the floors and because of the low HP they were amazingly fun to drive as long as you stayed off of the freeway.
  6. I got into gaming as an adult so it was never a choice of either/or for me since I had resources - I bought systems if they had enough games I wanted. I distinctly remember the sticker shock when Sega switched to the cardboard boxes.
  7. Shining Force II and Phantasy Star IV came pretty close - I think I laid out close to $90 each for them new. The other cardboard case RPGs were pricey too. Sega really screwed us on those - raised the price and used those crappy cardboard boxes (which were even worse than the SNES ones) and also made cheap non glossy manuals with black and white covers.
  8. Time for a slight detour - this is pretty awesome!
  9. Iam8bit has some limited edition stuff for Eastward. https://www.iam8bit.com/collections/eastward?_kx=8dH7dvk6xAT-hJ9rEo7TawoL4ESgBdUZfvEpMgaK_3w%3D.SCPJSA
  10. I got my copy today - the back of the dvd says: "Relive the production of Sam & Max Season One, 2007 Style - by watching a DVD packed full of behind-the-scenes goodies made by game's original development team. (Yep, this is a video DVD that you watch on your TV.)" On the disc: Original Trailers & Cutscenes Hours of Commentary Tracks 18 Time-Wasting Machinama Shorts Blooper Reel
  11. Obviously designed to appeal to those with OCD.
  12. Tropical is the way to go - coconut.
  13. This might work: It is mostly an exploration game with some puzzles (only one of which I would rate difficult - although a young one would probably have a bit of difficulty with more - but they are motly pretty simple puzzles moving blocks around so any adult can help solve them). There a couple of fetch quests and a side story that is revealed by collecting scattered diary pages. No physical copy available so eshop is the way to go. No fighting and while there is dialogue is fairly simple and delivered slowly. Another two that might work are Mushroom Quest and the sequel Mushroom Savior. Fairly simple Sokoban style games where you push blocks around. Again no physical - just eshop.
  14. "I fart in your general direction!" (Actually that would have been preferable.) https://news.yahoo.com/man-pees-inside-detroit-gas-212711002.html
  15. I wonder if they leave the contents to whomever they are licensing the physical games from and take a cut of the increased prices whilst giving the rest to the owners of the rights. Knowing how they operate they probably don't front the money for the production of the physical items. They apparently don't have exclusive rights to that stuff since at least the journal for The Return of the Obra Dinn turned up for sale at Fangamer. Which would explain why they don't know details of those items.
  16. Here is the switch one - the pc one appears to have the same bonus stuff.
  17. I did get a notice that Pathway was now in their warehouse - now it just has to find its way out of there.
