  1. What is your favorite film that involves cannibalism? This little gem is actually a dark comedy despite what the trailer indicates. Rory Calhoun and his sister waylay hapless travellers, plant them in the ground and feed them special nutrients before "harvesting" them. The tagline of the move is "it takes all kind of critters to make Farmer Vincent's fritters".
  2. Parts is parts...... https://news.yahoo.com/did-human-leg-end-interstate-212806491.html
  3. I like games with a lot of exploration. One of my favorite things about LTTP was the large landscape with things to discover - and figuring out how to get to areas you couldn't reach. One of my favorite switch games (which unfortunately is not available as a physical) is this one - it is all exploration with some puzzle solving:
  4. I pre-ordered a copy of this from PlayAsia - looks pretty interesting.

  7. This should be considered a win/win for everyone here - no one is going to argue that he should have had a gun there and everyone should agree that he misused it. GROUP HUG!!!!
  8. Loser gets his day in court - and loses! https://www.9news.com/article/news/crime/samuel-young-225-shooting-verdict/73-826aa319-1885-4753-8505-be479a3903a2
  9. Obviously a case of racial discrimination.........
  10. I just watched this and was pretty impressed: Kind of a sedate/backwards approach to the Butterfly Effect mixed with who knows what. Seemingly starts out at sea but if you stick it out it will engage you - you do have to pay attention along the way though.
  11. As usual - more proof that some "people" (I use the term loosely here) have no moral bottom whatsoever: https://news.yahoo.com/phoenix-animal-shelter-halts-rescue-020535773.html
  12. He has probably been staying at the Flamingo Motel.
  13. Another vehicle that I had for several years was one of these - it was a 1961 Ford Econoline. This was the first year they were made and the various states weren't sure how to treat them. Coloado registered them as trucks if they had solid sides and as station wagons if they had windows like mine did. Another quirk was that they put them on a Falcon chasis and when I ordered parts they were found listed under Falcon ones. It had a straight 6 with overhead valves housed in the doghouse - it was a quirky engine that was a bit underpowered. I especially appreciated it when I drove between South Dakota and Colorado - I always left Colorado late at night and drove straight through - the view at night through that windshield whilst driving through Nebraska was amazing - especially in late August when the meteor showers occurred. Lot of fond memories with that vehicle.

  17. I don't know how this great artist has escaped me all of these years!
  18. I currently have a 2015 Toyota Rav 4. My favorite era was when I was in high school (graduated in 70) - I had a 1963 powder blue Pontiac Bonneville convertible with a 389 - that thing could move like a bat out of hell. I also had a couple of little Fiat 600s - 800 lb bodies with 26HP engines that would not go over 45 mph. They had four on the floors and because of the low HP they were amazingly fun to drive as long as you stayed off of the freeway.
  19. I got into gaming as an adult so it was never a choice of either/or for me since I had resources - I bought systems if they had enough games I wanted. I distinctly remember the sticker shock when Sega switched to the cardboard boxes.
