  1. With a lot of AEW fans, I get the vibe of 'smarks who wanna be one of the boys' and I think that ruins wrestling. With that said, I do love the amount of support they give and the AEW main card stuff is excellent. Everything else, I could do without. I think that stuff is whats killing it. I really hope both companies do well but I think those kinda smark wrestling fans are ruining it. They're also the easiest to work and I think the wrestlers that know what they're doing use that to their advantage.
  2. All good here! No hard feelings on either side. I said what I wanted to say and other people have opposing views or mindsets. Its what makes the world goes around. When it gets out of hand with name calling, then yeah, thats wrong. I have more in my life to care about than to get all bent out of shape at some faceless person on the net.
  3. Its fine! I have no issues with anyone on here, I just that whole thing seems disingenuous. Thats all. I keep saying, maybe I'm wrong but thats how I see it at. All we can do is see how it plays out. I said what I wanted to say and thats all. Not looking for more fights, and now I need to get back to work lotting these Xbox 360 games.
  4. No. Im not jealous, I got everything I want and am not looking for more. But the whole situation just rubs me the wrong way and most other people too who like their 'cheap' hobby. I think what YOU do is awesome with all that art work. Its just with these game that seem to be WAY more common than a flimsy pieces of paper that somehow lasted 50+ years as an 'investment'? No thanks.
  5. Not to boost HIS value, but to capitalize on it. NES is cooler than ever in the past 5 years, but all these prices are for INCREDIBLY niche items. Sealed, first print NES black box games. Also, I don't think WATA was handed to him, its still WORK to run a business. But he certainly seems to have had quite a few advantages. Thats what I meant.
  6. Maybe over all, but like I said, I think a MAJORITY of the people here like buying our stuff cheap because the hobby compared to other things is pretty cheap. When someone comes in and instantly has a huge collection where other people took years, its a bit disheartening. As I said, the issue people are having is the way its being presented even though on the whole, it wont affect you. People selling out for the dollar and not continuing the hobby.
  7. I'm not, but what did I say was not true about that?
  8. The way I see it is the kid woke up on 3rd base, got helped building a disgustingly huge collection and decided to move it to the 'big time'. The issue is, to most of 'us', we don't want that to be big time. We like finding deals and stuff. The thing I find disingenuous is to me, it seems like they're trying to sell a bill of goods to big time collectors that don't know any better as the next big thing and to get in now before its too late. These are moving at thousands of dollars, whether those prices are valid or not. Most of 'us' didn't get our stuff as an investment and that rubs people the wrong way. I dont think these things will affect us (NES as a whole is shifting down looking at prices on Zelda, Contra, Mike Tyson), but the attitude seems to me, go against the grain of why people got into this. Personally, I don't like it either (esp to me, it wasn't earned) and as I said, it takes money to make money. Maybe im wrong, but that's all imma say on that now.
  9. Nah, I didn't know about that. But I saw his collection on instagram a long time ago and obviously all that money that went into his collection, he didn't earn. At first at least. Also to have a home big enough to fit all that stuff. Takes money to makes money.
  10. Ahhh, another piece of the puzzle falls into place.
  11. Deniz is the kid that had his dad buy him a Stadium Events at 12 for $1000 right? And his 'game room' is bigger than most stores I know. How old is he again?
  12. Im probably gonna grab a Switch lite soon. Kinda interested to see all the cool games on there.
  13. Remember folks. I am NA. You are NA. WE ARE NA!
  14. https://connect.gocollect.com/discussion/comment/2792942#Comment_2792942 ?
  15. All the threads seem to be under "Archived NA Posts", but it looks like a bland mess. I wonder how desolate that place is gonna be the next few weeks. EDIT: Its such a mess I can't even see who's posting what.
  16. I dig NWA. Its more what I wanna see. Im happy everyones doing well and im happy that AEW is doing well but I this its MOSTLY terrible, except for the top angle. Im not into fancy moves because its the cheapest way to get over. You can see their biggest match was Cody/Dustin which was not about moves but the story and it was BRILLIANT.
  17. Its funny to think how much a label changes the price. Also about Sword Master, I was under the impression that it was just a major flaw in the programming haha. In the US version its easier to walk off a ledge, THEN jump, than jumping twice.
  18. My idea had more to do with people who have those games lol. Do they give in to the hype and take the crazy money, or refuse because they think its a house of cards. My issue is that it seems so forced and phoney and it seems like to me the people with the money to do it are trying to manipulate it, selling it to people from other hobbies its the new thing and going to be an investment.
  19. Can someone make a pic meme of the super hero sweating with the two buttons where one buttons says "Protect the integrity of the community" and the other says "Steal the marks' money"?
  20. I used to teach guitar full time but its not consistent. So I do that on the side and work at a used electronics store taking care of their video games. For now...
  21. No. I smelled a rat when it first started personally. I never trusted that kid.
  22. No it wasn't even that. I lived in an apartment on a huge block with other apartments. So instead of being inside I mostly played outside cuz there was so much to do. But it never even dawned on me to ask other kids! I lived in Queens NY, but once I moved out to the suburbs, it seemed to be more of a thing to go to peoples houses and play games. I never did that as a kid.
