  1. Oh, I didn't realize that. And the 3 cards I have (Goldie, Rosie, Stitches) aren't really ones anyone's looking for?
  2. Question for you hardcore New Horizons fans... I did enjoy the game immensely for about a week, but haven't touched it since. I may well get back to it when I'm in the mood, so I'm hanging on to the game. My question is about Amiibos. I was holding on to some AC Amiibos thinking I'd use them in this game, but I'm starting to think I don't really care enough. So I guess what I'm asking for those in the know, is it worth throwing the ones I have on eBay as a lot or something, or are they not really worth anything? I just figured that with people so into the game right now, maybe they'd be in decent demand. What I have is: The 3 Amiibo cards that came bundled with Amiibo Festival (sealed) The 2 Amiibos that came bundled w/ Amiibo Festival (loose) Cyrus (loose) KK Slider (loose) Reese (loose) Do you guys think I'd get much for them, or not worth the hassle? (I do kind of like the KK Slider one, so I wouldn't mind hanging on to him for decoration, but have no attachment to any of the others).
  3. It is to me. That movie is a masterpiece, Cruster.
  4. fascinating - thanks for the info. BAH! haha.
  5. I didn't know there was a way to boot the GB Player hardware using Action Replay. Super interesting.
  6. oh, interesting. It actually didn't dawn on me that the game got a review score, but no actual review. Yeah, good call.
  7. Dude! I didn't know you were a VGS member. I LOVE your blog - so much great information there.
  8. congrats, what a time to finish the set!
  9. I waited for physical on the other two Bloodstained games, so will do the same for this one.
  10. added Night Trap (Switch/LRG)
  11. 2/10 for me. I find the battle royale genre interesting in concept. But I've had trouble really enjoying it personally. I played Fortnite once with my buddy and his two kids online, and it didn't go great. It was a lot of the like the two kids (early teens) yelling at me "pick that up!" "what are you doing?!?!" "no not that gun!" and me just repeating "I've never played this before, I don't know what I'm doing!" The experience was sort of similar to the one time I dabbled in PUBG and the one time I dabbled in Apex Legends. The games just didn't click with me. I think I can see WHY some people get really into them. I found the experience(s) a bit too stressful, though. I do think that some of the Fortnite content is INTERESTING (not saying 'good' or 'bad'), such as recently showing movies in-game or having concerts or whatever. It's interesting because the game itself has become such a social experience. It's also interesting that "Fortnite" has become ubiquitous with "gaming" the way that Minecraft did before it, and the way that Super Mario Bros did long before that. I don't know. Fortnite isn't for me, but I understand why people are into it I guess.
  12. The eShop listing lists only Inti Creates as the developer.
  13. I don't know that I can say I prefer one version over the other. But, the version I tend to watch the most is "The Director's Cut."
  14. I got so excited when I saw Monkey Island in there, but was crushed when it didn't say "Switch" after it. How do we not have all the Lucas adventure games on Switch yet? It's THE PERFECT CONSOLE for pointing and clicking!
  15. Super excited about both. I had been holding off on buying the CV collection on the eShop in hope of a physical release.
  16. one of my absolute favorite movies of all time. If I'm flipping through the channels and it's on, I have to stop and watch. If someone mentions it (like now), I'm like "ugh, I should watch Blade Runner."
  17. Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 (Switch, PS4) — TBD Castlevania Anniversary Collection (Switch, PS4) — Q3 2020 ^these make me really happy.
  18. 5/10 for me. If I hear one of their songs, I generally like it. And I give them loads of credit for their actual talent. But not really music that I'm in the mood for all that often, as in actually listening to an album beginning to end.
  19. added more Wii U and 3DS games. Slowly adding more as I have time to go thru stuff.
  20. ^I'm semi interested in The Immortal. That's cool. I guess. Selfishly, I'm always slightly annoyed when a game I bought on Virtual Console comes to Switch Online (DK Country). It's like... I could have just saved that $6 or whatever.
  21. Mortal Kombat has been doing those sorts of cameos for a while. Between MK9, X , 11 and the Injustice games they've had Freddy Kruger, the Ninja Turtles, a Xenomorph... but I mean none of this was shocking given that years earlier they had made Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe. Honestly, I just don't overthink it. I personally can't say I play MK games for "lore." I've been playing the game since the early 90's and can't really tell you what much of the story is about, haha.
  22. this is awesome - congrats.
  23. Sonic Pocket is great. I used to be super into NGPC years ago. This was back when you could still buy that Sonic console bundle for $45 all day. Yikes. And many of the CIB games were still easily findable around $20 - I remember getting Pac-Man for like $18 sealed back then. Crazy. Anyway, my recommendation is Card Fighters Clash. Loved that game. Check it out if you're a fan of Pokemon TCG and want something similar.
