  1. Zelda Links Awakening remaster. I actually havent played the original, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Only at the second dungeon so far
  2. Lots of gift cards, a new backpack which I've needed for a while so that was awesome. Gaming wise I got a Mario Ice cube tray and some great switch games, Links Awakening, Luigis Mansion 3 and Pokemon Shield
  3. Thats dope. Where did those images come from? Does anyone do prints of them or anything
  4. Mines health as well. I successfully quit smoking 2 years ago and since then I've been more conscious about what I eat and how active I am. I've kinda fallen off the band wagon though and plan to bump it back up. Aside from that I want to just play more games. I find I get distracted by social media and YouTube a lot more and dont take the time to just play stuff. I have a ton of games that I really should've played by now but havent, like Dark Souls, BOTW and even old stuff like Chrono Trigger.
  5. I used to shave before showering, but recently I decided to try after showering and it makes a huge difference.
  6. Games I've enjoyed the most would be Super Mario Odyssey, Undertale, The End is Nigh, Mario Maker 1 and 2, Cuphead and EA Skate 3. Never got around to playing BOTW, Celeste or the Dark Souls games. But those are some games I really want to check out. I think i started collecting around 2010 or so, so I didnt play that many new games until fairly recently, I was so excited about collecting that I was playing old games for the most part
  7. @CasualCart Big fan of the little illustrations you included with each game, nice work
  8. I loved New Sup DS. I wish they changed it up a bit more for the subsequent releases, the concepts got kinda stale after 4 entries. But the first one was excellent
  9. I was able to clean all the shit off, I'll test them out later to see if they're alright
  10. So I'm not sure how will known this is, but I had no idea and I'm sure theres at least some others out there so thought I'd share. Apparently if you dont touch your wii remote for a while the batteries inside explode and get corrosion everywhere. I saw it mentioned online and checked my remotes and sure enough, it happened. Everything else I had with batteries was fine, I think this is something specific to the wii remotes. But yeah if you havent played wii in a while and forgot to remove the batteries, have a quick look to see. I'm sure unchecked this could ruin a lot of controllers over time
  11. Agreed. Some nice skips you can do with Luigi's high jumps, he's a fun character to use
  12. Heh, I definitely enjoy 3D Mario so not sure if I can take you up on that, but yeah I hear a lot of great things about ttyd, I grew up playing PM and have a lot of nostalgia and appreciation for it, and I kinda like that it's a bit more simple. When I say I havent played ttyd, I mean to the end, I have played up to the second level just never finished it. I dont have a good reason why I havent played it through, just havent. It definitely looks like an excellent game. But yeah, definitely reccomend checking about PM as well
  13. Same here. The important thing is the community, which is now here. And all of those nice things we had on NA can be rebuilt here, slowly but surely.
  14. I've played basically all the main ones. Missed a few RPGs and Sports games here or there. I would have to say top 3 are Super Mario World, Paper Mario and Super Mario Odyssey. Now that said, I have missed out on Sunshine and Thousand Year Door so I may have to reevaluate after checking those out, but I still feel pretty confident in my choices.
  15. I dont think theres a way to properly do this objectively. Funny enough, I'd also say Tetris
  16. Watched the video, thought it was entertaining for the most part. Not sure I'd call it a deep analysis of the game though, it's more Mike trying to defend the game and talk about his experiences with it. I agree though, it's a great game. Would play that over the nes beat em ups anyday
  17. I usually leave it on whatever the default is, so medium I guess
  18. Got it at best buy, it has low latency so that's not a concern. And I dont mind the lack of scanlines or light gun games. It does everything I need it too
  19. Just got myself a gaming monitor not long ago, works good I love CRTs too, but they're such a pain in the ass to move
  20. Basically it's the FPGA vs Nintendo on a chip that makes it different. An FPGA is able to replicate the original hardware much closer
