Wow I didn't realize how much I'd be into trophy hunting. This is a lot of fun! Its certainly a great way to get the most out of a game. Even if some of these challenges seem trivial. I'm working on Metal Wolf Chaos XD. These S rank challenges will be a grind. About to platinum Game Tengoku Cruisin Mix as well. Currently on week 5 on Last of Us factions. I've been putting a lot of time into Windjammer which is fun. I bought it from LRG but hadn't played past 1 playthrough. I've become to appreciate it now after many playthroughs. Id like to get the multiplayer achievements but barely anyone plays. Also, the servers often go down. If anyone owns the game and wants to play online, let me know. Same goes for KOF 97.

In case anyone is interested in what the original shipping box looks like, here it is. It is numbered to correspond to the title screen's number. Also the plastic bag inside the box has the number. I had the title screen customized to include my name. I don't care if it lowers the value its personalized. This is #17

I appreciate the correct usage of the asterisk * in the title. Whats crazy to me is that after COVID, the price of many Genesis games are starting to exceed the value of Neo Geo games. I never thought that would happen. Perhaps the barrier to entry is too high for the Neo Geo console / no widely available HD console option for the general collector to have any interest. I love the system. Its really cool to see the evolution of its graphics, sound, ROM size throughout its 14 year life cycle. So many high quality games and series started on the Neo Geo. Fatal Fury, King of Fighters, Art of Fighting, Metal Slug, World Heroes, Baseball Stars, you know what I'll stop listing them because its pointless to keep going. It is amazing that the system had the amount of success that it did its in heyday considering its exorbitant price. Granted, most of its success was in Japan and the following was niche. The concept of playing an arcade title at home was unthinkable before it. It is so cool. I am just so happy that it exists and had the great run that it did!

Nice! I also recently just got my first platinum: Spider-Man PS4. (This one was pretty easy) Since January I've really been getting into Trophy hunting after I found the psnprofiles site. I was a 360 kid so the PS trophy system is new to me. Its been a lot of fun going back and completing trophies I missed. This week I finished Star Force Anniversary Wolfenstein Old Blood (platinum) I'm only missing the multiplayer achievements needed for platinum in Last of Us Remastered. But I don't have PS plus https://psnprofiles.com/acromite53 Multiplayer achievements are annoying Like you said, some become unattainable. Drive Club is one that I can't get platinum because the servers are gone. I need to get in on Battlefield 1 soon. One achievement requires winning a game mode with a large lobby size. It will be hard to find a game.

I was so dissapointed with Backloggery that I just went back to using a notepad on my phone lol. We need a site like Letterboxd. That site really nailed it for movies. I use the diary feature all the time which logs what date you watched it. The site also really encourages you to discover new movies and finish your backlog in your "Watchlist". It has a very active community of reviewers. Someone needs to build a site for videogames based off Letterboxd.

Anyone have experience with digitally transferring VHS / Video 8 tapes from camcorders? My Sony Handycam has a Composite mono video output. What kind of device can I use to capture the footage? Just a capture card like an elgato? Same principles as recording game footage? If so, what is the best capture device? Should I upscale to HDMI first? Obtaining the best capture possible is important. I only want to do this once and do it right, since i have about 35 tapes to get through.. Thank you all.

I've been on a beat em up kick lately. Just beat Streets of Rage 3 & 4. So I booted up Burning Fight for the first time in a while. Not a bad game! I like the variety of weapons and the mini bonus games inside the stores. The stage graphics are nice and highly detailed. The enemies look pretty goofy though. Its very tough and I can only get as far as the elevator stage on Normal difficulty. The SOR games are better for sure. They have way tighter gameplay and obviously better music (thanks Yuzo). I am having trouble with my 5 or 6 input av/ s video switch box. This is for a CRT. It video keeps flickering out because of its really crappy switches. I have gone through 3 cheap plastic ones while my HQ metal one has survived. I need a HIGH QUALITY option that won't crap out on me. Having Component inputs is a plus! The more inputs, the better. I currently have 2 boxes daisy chained together to support 9 consoles. Thanks!

You could try reflowing the solder on the controller port motherboard pins. Out of the blue, my Master System stopped reading cartridge games. Turns out the solder on the cartridge slot pins went bad. Common issue. I reflowed them and it worked like new. I had never had a console die on me like that before.

Thats fine to require the good ending. I may go try and get the good ending again. In my bad ending, the city got nuked lol. BTW just beat Streets of Rage 4. Awesome game! This credits theme is chill.

Hi all. I forgot this thread existed. I beat Joe & Mac on 12/12/20. Sorry, didn't take a picture. On 12/29/20 I beat Bare Knuckle 3 on normal difficulty. Not sure if you'll count that one. I got the ending where I saved the president before the bombs went off. & I defeated Neo X but after the timer expired. I'll be trying to beat some more. Currently working on Thunder Fox and Task Force Harrier off and on.
